Coastal Owl -- (found it & got the ?)

I cant find this sonuvabitch anywhere. I keep getting the Great Horned Owl.

I've checked Tall Trees, Coast SE of Van Horn, East Coast of Lagras, the Moonstone pond area, Bear's Claw area in Tall THelp, even crab island east of Beechers Hope.

 

?  I am getting frustrated. I've checked every video possible on YouTube & am desperate to the point of having to ask here.

 

 

Please help me.

 

Edit: finally found this bastard in FAIRVALE SHANTY which is north of the O in AMBARINO sitting on a rock.

I found it here at night:

I got one (coastal) in north of St. Denis. another (Californian coastal) in north of armadillo. All well noted locations. Spent 3 hours in Tall Tree to no avail (not they don't spawn, but I had a hard time track them). Got lucky in armadillo (2nd try).

You can find all three Owls here - many times even two different ones at once. I saw that you've already been here. For me, it was the best spot by far.

Mostly sitting on the houses/chimneys.

Thanks everyone for the replies & help. I gave everyone who replied +1 rep.

I couldnt find it at those locations (Abyss & I are talking now about it) but about 5 minutes ago i found it sitting on a rock in FAIRVALE SHANTY. 

It is directly north of the O in AMBARINO.

 

That owl was just sitting on a rock chilling. This is a 100% gauranteed spawn point cus i found a video on it and everyone got their owl their too.

Ya i tried soooo many hours here at Bear's Claw. I kept getting pounced by Grizzlies or getting attacked by wolves everytime i was studying it.

Yeah same here. Couldnt study it due to distance or angle.
