FarSideOfSaturn
I don't spent a huge amount on games. Last year I spent just under £200 on 11 games, generally I wait for a price drop or a sale before I buy something, there's not many games I'd buy on release. I've spent nothing so far this year, Assassin's Creed Odyssey was a gift and I bought the DLC with gift cards I got for my birthday.
Chocolat_GiddyUp
To be perfectly honest, I'm not entirely sure. But if I had to estimate, probably about tree fiddy. Edited April 9, 2019 by Chocolat_GiddyUp

silver_pigy
Not sure if I can accurately figure out the physical games i bought in brick and mortar stores, since I haven't kept my receipts and a lot I bought in bulk on Ebay and such, but I'll do my digital purchases and physical games I bought online since i have the receipts for those in my email. With the exception of Resident Evil, Spyro and the Phoenix Wright trilogy most of the games I buy are bought when they are on sale for very cheap or are in general cheap PS3 games that are bargain bin priced. With such a big back log to complete I always wait till games go on sale before i buy them. Unless its a game I'm super pumped for and will play right away I can't justify paying full price for a game that I'll just add to my back log. AyAerith
Topic really made me want to figure out how much I spent, so I added them up. PS4: $515.58 - PS4 Pro and Sekiro take up almost this entire cost. The rest is just cheap games on sale Xbox One: $340.10 - I bought nearly 40 games for the Gamerscore League this year, which takes up most of this. I also bought DMC V brand new. Xbox 360: $41.16 - Minecraft, and extra controller, and two cheap games/DLCs to clean up some really old achievements. Switch: $0.00 - Nothing yet. Grand Total: $897.

I don't intend to purchase much more this year at all. Though...I would like to buy Cat's Quest 2, whenever it gets released, and I will happily pay full price for it. So maybe one other game this year. So this initiative has collapsed upon itself - the final Season of the walking dead has been purchased four times (2x disk, 2x digital), and LEGO The Hobbit (PS3), four POWGI games, and 2 Hakuoki games (Vita) found their way into my backlog as well. Fenrirfeather
TOTAL €431.98 ( ˘ω˘ ) €197.79 alone is on the new VITA that I bought back in January. My last game-related purchases are from March 30 (Episode Ardyn and The Last Guardian). Nothing for April yet. Not a small sum by any means but my PS4 wishlist is down to near 0 at this point, so I feel the 400 Euro were warranted. For the most part, I’ve been keeping to a philosophy of sitting on my money like a hen (hear me kweh cluck) and waiting for discounts to roll out. That worked out quite fine for all these older games that I’d wanted to pick up. Exceptions are Tales of Vesperia and Chocobo’s Dungeon (preorders, €39.99 each).
