Crushing tweaks

Is it possible to use any cheats or tweaks during a crushing playthrough? I'm certain I read somewhere that it was possible via a glitch on the PS3 version.

Maybe it's possible that the PS4 tweak glitch also works with PS3 version:

From playstation trophy forums:

 

Method 1:

1. Play through crushing until you get a gun in chapter 1
2. Pause
3. Change the difficulty to whatever you have unlocked tweaks on
4. Enable Tweaks
5. Save and quit to main menu
6. Go to options and change difficulty back to what you originally chose 
7. Continue 

You can now play crushing with tweaks and still earn trophies.

after finishing hard and starting crushing mode can you do it chapter select or do you have to go to new game

this doesnt seem to work on ps3? nevermind i think it does but not for the guns
