How many hidden trophies do you have? w or w/o reasons

So you're ashamed of that Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue       trophy that makes you ? and you have decided to ... hide it!! under the psn's rug. But, oh, alas, sites like this tell others about your very dark secret with that blue square with a 'H' in it...

and you feel both amused, conflicted and weird. Because, hey, having secrets is fun. Or not. Well, it's in our human nature. Do not worry, we are not here to judge you. Well, I won't, at least.

 

Feel free to expose yourself and tell us how many trophies do you have hidden rn, with (or w/o) some info about why. Or, if you haven't any (you lucky dogs!) just tell us if you feel dirty about that certain trophy that you would hide... if you didn't feel that confident (duh!!).

 

In my case I've hidden 542 trophies. From, like, 100 games. Why? I like to use my psnprofiles account as an agenda, and can't stand looking to so many games that I won't play in... years. Yeah, I've plenty of games I know I don't want to play anymore. But theres an special case, Rogue Legacy. That game destroyed my self esteem. I don't want to see it any longer. Ever. Too hard. Damn it!!!!

 

Feel free to open yourself and confess your sins, or brag about how you don't hide any trophy at all ?

None. PSNTL takes away my completion ranking if I hide trophies and I have no shame of the trophy mistakes I've made (like Burn Zombie Burn). Life goes on and I gotta deal with the stupid shit I do. Hiding my trophies would be like lying to myself.

I don't have any hidden trophies, but I did delete two trophy lists: Pillar and Hello Neighbor. Played about 20-30 minutes in each of them and just didn't enjoy them at all. Hadn't popped any trophies in them, so I deleted the 0% lists.

I don't hide games, because I neither cheated or been ashamed of a game. I even keep games where I barely have a trophy at all ... yet.

183 and I'm not ashamed of having them hidden. I regret not using a second account for some PS Plus games to check them out, over 140 trophies are from those games. But I also have two hidden AAA games that were such a chore for me to even complete them once, that I refuse to look at them at my trophy list here.

None although I always thought about hiding stone games which I have on my profile because I didn't knew about guest accounts and let friends play games I wouldn't ever touch. Bayonetta is one of them.

But there are also a few games which I started before getting into trophies and which I have now on my office even though I hated everything I saw from when I touted them out. Helldivers and Two Worlds II for example.

 

The reason I haven't hidden anything yet is because I want to see how far I can get with my average completion without touching those games but finishing must of what I can.

And I don't like that stigma that comes with the hidden trophies symbol...

I see absolutely no reason to hide any games. I would not even be ashamed of that Barby game if I had played it.

A lot, a little over 1000 I think. I have my own reasons for doing it, neither to do with being ashamed or having cheated anything. I just don't like seeing my list with all that red on it and the bars all empty (it sounds ridiculous I know but it's a side effect of the anxiety I have, I'd start pressuring myself into doing them quicker, spend a load of time and frustration attempting to make a system out of it and then when it isn't going as fast as I want I'd start getting disheartened and it would put me off doing anything else etc) it's a horrible cycle that I know might sound stupid and petty to most, I even know myself its silly and that it's just trophies, they don't matter but it's a very real thing I deal with no matter how small others see it as.

 

I get worried and panic when I see people pointing fingers at people in the disputes section for having x amount of hidden trophies but I do also know that it's something people who alter trophies do quite often, see? Back and forth I go. It's something I have worked on loads over the past year, bringing my total from somewhere in the 3.5k region to where it is now at just over 1k just by chipping away at some older games i never fell into right awat and I hope at the end of this year it will not be a thing. 

 

TLDR; loads of hidden trophies, I have issues that cause it, no matter how pathetic people find it, it's a very real issue I deal with. No I don't cheat it's for my own benefit. Laters

Cero, nada.

 

I don't mind having a lot of scars and failed games on my profile. They remind me of what I've gone through or what I did in the past, even if I didn't play the games at all. Nowadays, I'm more mindful with I install on my profile but I don't give it much thought either. If I complete the game, fine. If it remains with an F rank forever, well, that's fine too lol

None, since my real completion is what matters, not hiding games to increase it (although, I regreat starting Brain Challenge, Ridge Race Driftopia and Zen Pinball.. But I got trophies in them, so they have to stay.. And at least 2 of those are good hard lessons too, Zen Pinball has a ton of impossible trophies for me now, because it was delisted, and RR Driftopia was delisted hours after release, and all my trophies in it are actually from the beta). 

 

Only list I deleted was Trash Panic, really hard 100%, I didn't liked it and so, I deleted it as soon as Sony allowed us to do so..

May I ask if you deleted those 3 games before you got the trophies and at a later time, you decided to play them and got trophies? 

 

I ask this because I recently got a nasty bug on ps4 that the only fix for it was to delete a 0% trophy list (ya, oddly that works, and the alternative was a factory reset..), and I deleted Backgammon Blitz Vita, but recently I re-add that to my list (when I add the other 3 latest games), but for some reason Backgammon Blitz continues to not show up on PSNProfiles, even though I got trophies and sync my profile twice after re-adding Backgammon Blitz to my list on PSN. 

 

And, ya, I would care if I randomly got hidden trophies.. I don't like them.

As of right now, 586 trophies. I know It's a bit high, but for about 5 years, me and my younger brother shared my account (I was still used to the "single profile" system on the PS2), and he got a large number of platinums while playing on it. Only in August 2014 did we remember to create a separate account for himself. When I started coming to the site more often, I wanted my profile to show my games only, so I hid my brother’s from view.

 

I also hid some games I tried once, didn’t like and no longer own, while I was at it. Some people might take issue with that, but it’s my profile and I say it goes!

 

To be honest, I don't really care what other people think. I would totally delete all of those trophy lists if Sony game me the chance considering I will most definitely not return to any of those games. Since Sony won't let me, I have to make use of the next best way to keep my profile clean, organized, and most importantly, for it to show only the games I liked enough to keep in my collection, that is, all of the ones I haven't sold or given away.

No, didn't delete them.  Weird but I've never hidden games/trophies, but it happened with I put in a 2TB HD in the PS4.  After reloading the games/saves, these games would not sync.  I've even deleted the game and save and started over.  Still won't sync.  Did a chat with PSN and they can see the games/trophies, but they are at a loss as to why there is a disconnect between PSN and PSNP.  My friends can look at the trophies on My Playstation, so who knows what happened.  Sucks, really.

Zero ofcourse. Hiding trophies is so stupid imo. Unless your trophies got hacked like in BO2 or some other game. That’s the only reason when I might consider it.

I used to have 1 hidden trophy from Uncharted: Golden Abyss. My nephew wanted to play my Vita one Christmas and he popped a trophy. Wasn't going to play the game in a while and it was ruining my completion so I hid it. Unhid the game later when I started playing it myself.

Ok, that's really an odd case. And that really sucks. 

 

I just thought that it could be a similar thing and I would want to avoid it if possible. I never re-add a trophy list that I deleted, because that's usually a final decision, but in this case I was panicking a bit, since my ps4 was giving a fatal error when I started up any and all games (digital and disc), so after reading that it would fix the ps4, I deleted the 1st 0% that I saw, but now that I want to play the game, it looks like I may have run into another bug..

Well, if you come up with any ideas, let me know!  I'd love to dump the blue H on my profile.  But, not enough to start a new profile.

When i 1st got my playstation 4 i didn't know anything about trophies.  when the 1st few popped in Battlefront 1 I thought it was sort of cool.  That 1st year all I played was battlefront and the division except I signed up for ps now and went on a bit of a test the game out frenzy for a few days.  The quality of the PS now was so poor and constant connection errors not to mention some of those games didn't age very well.  I played the Division so much I ended up getting the platinum in June without really going for it.  In October of that year I sat down and decided to get a 2nd platinum the order 1886.  After completing the game I was hooked on trophies.  I didn't want to do the Division again to start a new account so I hid those ps now games and from that point on I live or die with any game i put on my list.    If you look at those games they don't even fit into my list with the types of games I play.  I'm a bit OCD with the whole thing I guess.  those games were games I'd never want to play both old and outdated ps3 games mainly.  Considering I got spoiled by getting back into gaming in the ps4 era it's hard for me to play some of the older games.  From that point on i always researched not if a game was hard or easy but if it was something i though i'd like.  If not I don't play it.  I signed up for ps now again not long ago with the intention of maybe completing a few of those games but the quality was so poor I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Lets see, it's Drawn to Death, Severed, and probably other free PS+ games that had introduction completion trophies that unfortunately popped up for me.

There are about 3 or 4 goes for Project Cars, that I didn't liked at all, but somehow ended buying it full price...

 

I had much more before unhiding Mafia 3, that piece of I absolutely didn't liked even a little.
