Popular Post SleightRocket
Personally, my favorite is Bloodborne; has the most interesting story line and the combat feels a lot better to me. I like the idea of not being allowed to use a shield, and the idea of parrying with a gun is SO COOL. Chalice dungeons are an amazing addition as well, it felt like there was so much more to the game after I completed it and I still don't get tired of them. What is your opinion?

Popular Post Bloodytears1666
Against a lot of critic, and dislikes, my favorite was Dark Souls 2. Liked nearly everything in this game. Advanced combat in compare to original, cool idea with gems to heal you gradually. Really liked the story and lore, some aspects of it been made very well, 'course little worse than Artorias line for example, but unlike original here everything was is harmony and balanced. And the best part for me is pvp, unlike totally disbalance in original and third parts, here I could freely join matches with light armor and one handed sword against tanks and heavy weapons. The only downside was some overpowered magic, but magic in general was a thing in Dark Souls 2, for a wizard and for an opponent, there were chances to die, and chances to avoid any. Plus never forget frigid outskirts, that was what I imagine hardcore game should be from time to time, a real test of skills and gambling with luck. Also the system with Bonfire Ascetic far more appealing and helps keep pace, unlike all over again system classic for souls games. That was really great to not be tied to walk through and still grow, collect items and fighting enemies and bosses in any desired order. This also affects pvp in a good way greatly, simply because you can more quickly match with crowded soul levels and enjoy online aspect of the game on maximum. LucianaRosethorn
Nioh and Dark Souls 2, can play both of them for hours on end and both have a special meaning to me.
Alaquia
well Bloodborne ofc BUT I thought "soulslike" means a game like ds/bb from ANOTHER developer in that case it would be salt 'n sanctuary
NaseemJohn
Nioh and Bloodborne. Nioh easily has the best combat and boss fights which makes it my favourite.
RevengeancePrime
Bloodborne - I love the gothic victorian aesthetic of the game as well as the lore, which draws on Lovecraft. The combat is also a lot more suitable to my play style as I don't use shields and play pretty aggressively. I love the trick weapons and all the cool things you can do with them. I also didn't find any of the boss fights particularly terrible. Soundtrack is solid, but I wouldn't say the best in the series overall. The Old Hunters DLC is amazing and some of the best DLC I've ever played. The only real issue I have with this game are the labyrinth dungeons, which do feel lacklustre in some aspects. Nioh is the souls-like game I enjoy the most for its combat. It feels fast and frantic and I found myself experimenting with a lot of different builds, which I don't find myself doing as often with From Software titles. Overall, I'd say this series has a lot of room for improvement, so I still wouldn't put it above From Software's titles aside from DSII, which wasn't too bad in my opinion.

Sofa King
Nioh was as close to the Souls games as it comes for me. The setting in feudal Japan with samurai swordplay was more to my liking than the more medieval Souls games. Can't wait for Sekiro:Shadows Die Twice! Galactic Hyper Balls
demon souls is the 1st one I played dark souls is my fav, that game made me give up when it first came out. Then went back to it two years later Then I got gud and learned the ways of stunning enemies and my bro onion knight always needs my help I started playing nioh 3 weeks ago, it's damn good too, already have180 hours in it Edited January 20, 2019 by Galactic Hyper Balls
ExHaseo
Bloodborne is the only good one imo. The other games just feel unfair and are only difficult because of intentionally bad and awkward controls. Bloodborne has a little bit of that, but overall there's more than enough control for it to feel fair.

Trepie_V2
I generally don't enjoy 'souls like' games but I very much enjoyed Nioh. It didn't feel as sluggish or Janky as some of the others, and the setting was more interesting to me.

TheFalseDeity
Ive only played Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, and Nioh. Bloodborne is my favorite game this gen though DS3 isnt terribly far behind. And i would choose DS3 over Bloodborne for PvP. Did not like Nioh much at all and probably wont pick up its sequel. Am looking forward to Code Vein and Sekiro. Particularly Anime Souls. Hope its delay was worth it.
Seasonreaper
Hollow Knight. NioH and Salt & Sanctuary are also both pretty neat, but not quite as polished. Looking forward to NioH 2 though.
Evil_Joker88
I like Demon's Souls the most as some bosses were huge badasses but looked terrifyingly good. I'm happy that Bloodborne on the other hand is much easier in many parts. I only played a bit of Dark Souls so far but its open world and less healing items among other make it too hard in my eyes compared to Demon's Souls

Lonemankane
Nothing like the souls games but I will say the grand dad to all this was king's field I love them games. too bad from soft seem to just make dark soul clones or another dark souls while leaving armoured core or king's field to die in space. Even though it is out of the subject I love king's field and demon souls
