Popular Post ResoluteRock
Hi! You may/may not have seen me around the forums, I'm ResoluteRock. I've been playing with Playstation consoles since 2012, but I decided to finally dedicate myself to trophy hunting in 2018 and made this new account (plus, I like the username, although I admit, my previous name was fantastic @Wuthg21 *spits*). As a result, I have a HUGE backlog of games that I've accumulated over the years, and I'm pretty sure that I'll never get around to it all (because I can't seem to stop buying new games ). The username is derived from Rock Lee from Naruto (if you couldn't tell by my Rock Lee avatar lol). I always admired this character and how dedicated he was to his dream, even though he was looked down upon by others. Plus, his fight with Gaara during the Chunin Exams was probably the single best scene I've seen in that show so far. This thread serves a few purposes: 1. It gives me a place to display all of my achievements in trophy hunting 2. It gives me a nice way to track all of the games I want to play/have played 3. I get to show off what little I have in order to feel better about myself SHINY ROCKS 1 - 10 Spoiler #1 God of War (PS3) Whoever created challenge 10 deserves to be punished by being forced to play challenge 10 for the rest of their miserable existence #2 God of War II Even better than the original, partially due to the fact that challenge 10 from the previous game is not in this one. #3 Fallout 3 Pro tip: pick up everything to win. #4 God of War III Remastered Even more blood and even less challenge #10 in this game #5 Batman: Arkham Asylum This game really makes you feel like Batman #6 God of War: Chains of Olympus I want to strap Persephone to a bed of nails, and then strap that bed of nails to the hood of my car so I can watch her suffer as we speed around in a mall parking lot during an earthquake. #7 God of War: Ghost of Sparta By this point, I think God of War learned its lesson with challenge #10, but they replaced it with stunlocking instead #8 LEGO Marvel's Avengers Don't laugh it was a fun game #9 Battlefield V A really fun WWII shooter, especially the multiplayer (and especially not the Death from Above trophy ) #10 God of War: Ascension God of War still didn't learn its lesson with stunlocking SHINY ROCKS 11-20 Spoiler #11 Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm When I first started this game, I was having so much fun. I felt it captured the feel of Naruto really well, which is a universe I (obviously) adore. The story mode wasn't the best representation of the story arcs up until that point; it retained some of the feeling and it was nice to see it animated in a new, yet familiar style, but it was lacking in my opinion. You would definitely need to watch the anime, then play the game in order to get the maximum enjoyment out of it. Much of the storytelling was done through text, which feels like a lazy way to deliver the story. I wish they had done cutscenes for every mission, not just the last mission of every story arc because the cutscenes that were there were beautiful. On to the gameplay. When I started, I thought the combat felt very simple. Now that I've finished, I can appreciate more of the nuances in the combat system. Jutsu Clashes, Ultimate Jutsus (and cancelling them), support assists, blocking (and breaking the block), and managing meter are much more important than I thought. Honestly, once you unlock Naruto's Rasengan, you can just breeze through everybody (didn't stop me from using Rock Lee whenever I could though!). The side missions can be very repetitive, and were part of the reason I held off on the platinum for so long. There's combat missions (where you fight), pursuit missions (where you fly through a forest to catch someone / get a certain distance in time), climbing missions (where you run up a tree), and cannon missions (where you use your Naruto Cannon to blast through rings), and the ever-so-rare Giant Battles (which are amazing fights against massive opponents). That's about it. It can get old pretty quickly, which left me burnt out. That, paired with the grind to buy 50% of everything, put me off from getting the platinum until I finally decided to power through and finish. Overall, the game is a good game that suffers from repetitive mission structure towards the second half of the game. It's a must-play for any Naruto fan though, especially for the sale prices it goes for now. #12 Assassin's Creed Syndicate Came for the accents, stayed for the tea and crumpets. #13 Aer I spent at least 2 hours launching myself around the map and then transforming into a bird before I perished from the fall. #14 Payday 2: Crimewave Edition I NEED A MEDIC BAG #15 Killing Floor 2 This game makes COD Zombies look like a sloppy PS1 game. Nothing better than ripping apart Zeds using ultraviolent measures after a long day of work. #16 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare I don't normally play Call of Duty but this game restored my faith in the franchise. The worst part about this game is how it demands my entire hard drive to store it #17 Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Every video game from now on better have a grappling hook ? #18 Control Pros: Good atmosphere, tons of photo-mode worthy views, cool powers Cons: the characters and story are lifeless, the Former boss fight, and the terrible lag/performance issues #19 Spider-Man How is it that I throw a rocket back at an enemy and it doesn't blow them into a million pieces when it makes contact with their torso? Otherwise, it was amazing. #20 The Division 2 AKA "2020 Earth Simulator" GAMES IN THE OL' BACKLOG Spoiler World War Z 90% Kingdom Hearts 40% Assassin's Creed Odyssey 19% HITMAN 2 17% SUPERHOT 34% Ghost Recon Wildlands 11% Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel 23% Monster Hunter: World 21% GAMES I HAVE YET TO PLAY (THE UNTOUCHED BACKLOG) Spoiler The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Metal Gear Solid 2 Metal Gear Solid 3 Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Metal Gear Solid 4 Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Assassin's Creed II Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Assassin's Creed Revelations Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Assassin's Creed Unity Assassin's Creed Origins Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Gravity Rush Remastered Horizon Zero Dawn Outlast II Resident Evil 7 God of War The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition Alien Isolation inFamous Second Son inFamous First Light Dead Rising 2 Human Fall Flat Watch Dogs Watch Dogs 2 Soul Axiom Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Dying Light Bloodborne Homefront: The Revolution Titanfall 2 Fallout 4 For Honor Batman: Arkham City Batman: Arkham Knight Middle-earth: Shadow of War The Evil Within Thief Metro 2033 Redux Metro: Last Light Redux Edited June 17, 2020 by ResoluteRock

Beyondthegrave07
I clicked on this thread thinking you'd actually have a collection of real amethysts, gemstones, and the like.... Only SLIGHTLY disappointed! Best of luck on the trophy hunting. May Gai-sensei guide you on your quest to honing your taijutsu and become a true ninja!

AJ_Radio
Not a bad start. Always good to see some God of War games, Batman: Arkham Asylum and an inFamous game completed. In my opinion those are worthwhile games that are worthy in any trophy hunter's profile. I have sort of mixed opinions on Assassins Creed: Syndicate. Definitely not a bad game, I enjoyed the chemistry and the little arguments Jacob and Evie had. But I found it a bit boring towards the end which is like other games in the series because Ubisoft has to pad them with collectibles.

Sword
I spy Bloodborne in the backlog. I'd highly recommend it, takes awhile to get into but by the end... oh boy I couldn't put the game down till it was 100%'d. Though it's not exactly an easy game so, maybe play it after a string of easy games or something.
