Popular Post bladesoframen
Death End Re;quest is an interesting game that not only has a lot of bad endings, but also encourages you to look for them. To this end, the game does a number of things to make it convenient to look for the endings and even offers a number of rewards for getting them. First and foremost, the game keeps a system log of all the events you have been through, normal events, chapter endings, and most importantly bad endings. The game consists of 100 recorded events, and for the Refrain trophy, you need to get 80 of them. On top of that, you can check the event log and get rewarded items for each event you complete, and of course, the items you get for bad endings are better than the items you get for normal stuff. Beyond rewards, the game makes it pretty convenient for you to get back on the main storyline. Each time you hit a bad ending, it lets you load your last save immeditately. However, that means you need to be able to save just about anywhere, and for the most part, the game lets you do that too. You can save anytime during VN formatted dialogue, and there is usually dialogue before most events but not all of them. To help you on this, here is a list of the bad endings and when you can save before them. Note: Putting translated dialogue for the decisions for now. This will be changed when I get an English copy. Assuming the order of decisions don't change, you should be able to use the numbers to answer the decisions correctly. Prologue: Bad End: Lose the tutorial battle Recommended place to save: Dialogue right before the battle. When you first reach a sandy area, you would be guided upward a bit to some dialogue. Save then. Chapter 1: Bad End: Decide to 1."Help the NPC" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Decide to 1."Face the situation" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Go back to the main hall when you see the event where you're supposed to go forward to fight the boss of the chapter Recommended place to save: At the dialogue right after you open the last set of doors. If you forget, probably better to save before you enter the room. Chapter 2: Bad End: Enter the glitchy room a 2nd time Recommended place to save: There are 2 possible points where you can decide to save. The more convenient one is during the dialogue where you enter the glitchy room the first time. However if you forget there, the save point is 2 rooms away, so just go there after the dialogue is over and save then. Bad End: Decide to 1."Eat the fish" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Decide to 1."Ignore Merchants" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Chapter 3: Bad End: Decide to 2."Run away" Recommended place to save: This decision happens during a CG cutscene, so you can't save during it. Before this event, there is a save point up a hill behind you, make sure to save there. Bad End: Decide to 2."Secure awareness?" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Decide to 1."Run away with _____" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Decide to 2."It's scary" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Chapter 4: Bad End: Decide to 2."Secretly see the photo" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Decide to 1."Go ahead of the group" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Lose to ________ Recommended place to save: Dialogue before the fight, You will go to a new area before this fight, so use that as the tell for when to save. If you're scared you will miss this, try to save during every dialogue you can leading up to this fight because the last camp site before this is a fair bit back. Bad End: Decide to 1."Deceive____" (Same decision point as the next bad end) Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Decide to 3."I don't want to die" (Same decision point as the previous bad end) Recommended place to save: At the decision point Chapter 5: Bad End: Decide to 2."Kill _______ and take the boat" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Run away from the fight with ________ and then head to the flag Recommended place to save: Dialogue before the fight. Chapter 6: Bad End: Decide to 2."Soothe ______" Recommended place to save: You can't save during this decision and actually do the boss fight with ______ again to get this bad end. If you want this bad end, I would say do it during your 2nd playthrough when you're overpowered and can clear the boss with ease. Bad End: Decide to 1."Run through" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Bad End: Lose to Glitched Lily Recommended place to save: Dialogue before the fight Chapter 7: Bad End: Lose in the first fight against ___________ Recommended place to save: Dialogue before the fight Bad End: Decide to 2."Hurry up the building" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Chapter 8: Bad End: Lose in the first fight against ___________ Recommended place to save: Dialogue before the fight Bad End: Decide to 1."Reach for the truth alone" Recommended place to save: At the decision point Chapter 9: Bad End: Go away from the event point that tells you where to fight the dragon Recommended place to save: There is a pretty obvious save point before this whole entire event goes down, so I recommend saving there or during the dialogue of the event. Chapter 10: Bad End: Lose in the first fight against ___________ Recommended place to save: Dialogue before the fight Bonus (Chapter 11): This chapter has no bad ends. Normal End: Beat _______ without completing 80% of the side quest Recommended place to save: There is a save point near the bottom of the cliff. There is no real good save point after that because you need access to a shop. True end: Beat _______ after completing 80% of the side quest Recommended place to save: The first dialogue when you first meet the final boss. For the true end trophies, you'll have to fight the final boss again each time, but there is no need to walk to him.
