Adam's Venture Origins - (0%) Feeling a little more confident about KH3 after taking another look at the trophy list and remembering that in each of the kingdoms that I have finished so far that I have gotten all of the Lucky Emblems and Treasure Chests so I don't have to back track too much. Made some progress on XBlaze Code Embryo. This visual novel has some interesting mechanics that I haven't seen before. Its causing it to be a bit longer for me then other visual novels but I am enjoying it. After having a faulty physical copy of Adam's Venture Origins, I am happy to say I just picked up the digital version and can finally actually play this game. It made me wish I were playing VTM/bloodbourne though. I have to collect a few weapons etc for platinum but as Sekiro came out it's dropped on my list of priorities. Anyways, starting up DQB's second chapter. For some reason, the video guides I usually refer to for the speed challenges has been removed from Youtube. Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (100% ) Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood (100% ) Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala (100% ) Kingdom Hearts III (77%)Dragon Quest Builders (31% => 46%) So I finished the Rimuldar chapter of DQB, despite taking a death because of all the stupid bodkin archers ganging up on me and the chimeras burning me to death so I didn't have enough health to make it through the swamp. I lost three days on that death, but I eventually got enough time to finish the other challenges without having to do a second run. Completed my 10th blueprint halfway with the veggie field blueprint Gerontius gave me but for some reason I was short on accessories and feeding my face. I swore I had eaten 20 foodstuffs in both Chapter 1 and 2... oh well. Onto Chapter 3. I am going to try to finish Chapter 3 before tomorrow and maybe just push to the end tonight so I can get this game off my list and focus on KH3. But it was worth it in the end. I still love this game and spent a little bit of time after platinuming the game in the free form mode, Terra Incognita, in hopes of getting the Gourmand's Garter(never need to eat again) and the Hammer of the Builder. Can't wait for Dragon Quest Builders 2 this summer! So that just leaves Sora's adventures but I have a month to get the remaining ten or so trophies for KH3. The hardest ones will be the Schwarzgeist and that stupid Honeydew Flan. Oh, and I have to farm for more stupid honey for the chef minigames. Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek (100% ) Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood (100% ) Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala (100% ) Dragon Quest Builders (100% ) Kingdom Hearts III (77% => 91%) I'm almost there. I spent this afternoon trying to get trophies and I got three of them before my PS4 forced an update on my console. Thermosphere: I tried this a few times, died and then checked a guide and defeated the ultimate Gummi Boss on the best rank, getting the Golden Highwind. You can dodge the lasers but you have to be in the upper left corner to do it. Needed Repair Kit as the shields kept damaging me but I got through without getting carpal tunnel from all the dodging I had to do. (Also forgot that Gummi ship abilities existed. Whoops. ) Leveled Out: Got it without effort by farming Battlegates for synthesis materials. Ultima Weapon: Finally got lucky on the final Flan's minigame and was able to not land on the ground after I started sky-diving. This is my lowest score at 15300 because I didn't care about getting over 20000 points in this jumping game, I hate it. Had to synth a couple of Pulsing Crystals but now I blow things up and I haven't upgraded it yet. The trophies I still need: Centurion: Might try doing this first since it's a minigame, but 12 million points seems impossible. Ever the speedrunners only get up to 10 mill. Master Chef: I need to get Lobster, Scallop and Honey for the last recipes and to retry Lobster Mousse which I screwed up and lost ingredients to. Synthesist: Only have six items left to craft, but half of them require Sinister materials and the only place I can farm those is Monstropolis and the Unversed there are few and you cannot respawn them with going through two loading screens. One for the Books: This is the last one I'll probably get just for a nicer screenshot than the Moogle menu. Once I get Master Chef I'll get the last Keyblade and the last shotlocks to 100% Jiminy's Journal in the Gummiphone. Will I expand the games when I get the KH3 Platinum? Well, I want to make KH3 a memorable platinum so I might hold off on it a bit. I might throw in a new game once I'm finally finished. I have a few titles I need to work on. Wish me luck! Also, this is my 42nd Platinum, in a nod to The Answer to Life, The Universe and Everything... which is basically the story of this series in a nutshell. So the quest is done and I have completed my Spring Backlog before one month has passed, on the eve of March 29. I would have gotten it before midnight but those last two Sinister Crystals were stupid to farm. I need to bathe and go to bed now but I am satisfied that I have completed my list. Yes, I know it was quick but I had three very EZPZ platinums and I started Kingdom Hearts before the event. If I add another game it'll be another JRPG, maybe Dragon Quest XI because I stained the series by starting the game on another account and only getting to 1% of the story.
