PS2 Games that Deserve Re-Masters/Re-Makes? (Plat Cast Topic)

Hey all!

@ChernobylNinja and I run a podcast titled "Plat Cast" where we often ask our fellow trophy hunters for their opinions on various topics and read the answers on our show!

This week we're asking:

"What PS2 titles do you think deserve a re-master/re-make?"

With the Onimusha re-master out this year and the rising popularity of other re-makes like Resident Evil 2 (despite it being a PS1 title), it seems like re-makes and re-masters aren't going anywhere! So what game would you love to see up-scaled or re-done for modern consoles?

Let us know, and as always, thanks for your support!

Image result for Black Jogo

Been a long time so I don't remember a ton about it, but every time I think about older games this one pops in my head. Whether it's deserving of a remake/remaster is debatable, but I'd personally be excited for a chance to play it again with newer tech.

Black

Bujingai: The Forsaken City.

DanceDanceRevolution (a remaster would be great just to test the waters for future releases but it won't happen under Konami)

Defender

Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel

Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir

Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask (I never got to play this lol)

Need for Speed Underground 2

Orphen: Scion of Sorcery

Wild Arms Alter Code: F

Wild Arms 4

Wild Arms 5

There's more I'd love to see, but don't necessarily think they "deserve" remasters, like the Dynasty Warriors series for example.

Ape Escape 3 - had a lot of fun playing this way back when, and it NEEDS the Mesal Gear Solid minigame too!

Conflict: Global Storm - great co-op military shooter game.

Onimusha 2 - fantastic fun. Hopefully the Onimusha Warlords remaster will be followed up by this game...

Onimusha 3 - ditto ?

Rocky Legends - so we can have a good, fun game with Stallone in it!

Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven - superb game. Had so much fun playing it.

Tenchu: Fatal Shadows - a little inferior to WoH, but still good fun.

Transformers (Armada) - brilliant action game with huge levels and epic boss battles

I've been playing this a LOT on my OG Xbox. While it's fun, and a decent shooter, I don't feel it's worthy of a re-master however I would like one, with the additions of the mods you can inject onto a modded Xbox (faster game speed, weapons shoot grenades and missiles, etc)

A proper sequel would be amazing, but after the mess that was Bodycount (the spiritual successor directed by Stuart Black, namesake and senior designer of Black), I sincerely doubt it.

Devil May Cry 1 deserves a remake, NFSU/NFSU2/NFSMW deserve a remaster.

Devil may cry series already has PS3 and PS4 ports for the whole series

I'm mainly wanting the shadow hearts series, xenosaga and the original .hack series

Timesplitters 2 and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.

One of the best games (3rd one) I have ever played.

- I loved the campaign. It was funny and it had so many awesome characters. And as a Back to the Future fan, this time travel thing is... my thing!

- Multiplayer was awesome with friends.

- And the level creator gave me the opportunity to create my own stories! ^_^

It's time to split! (nuff said)
