NathanielJohn
It seems like threads like this one come up all the time, with people asking why they cannot report someone who is clearly a cheater. Instead of just silently hiding the "report" button when reporting is not an option, I suggest keeping the button there at all times, but if reporting is not an option (e.g., because someone else has already reported them and it is under review, or the reporter does not have that game on their list), as message explaining why is given.
Lordguwa
agreed. i wanted to hit that button on a few people known to possibly have cheated but unable to do so because i haven't played that game.
Squirlruler
I would be more in favor of text being added to this post to clarify, since, people who report *should* be familiar with the rules. They are there, but not very explicit, especially the "already reported" part.
B1rvine
Mixed feelings about this. Ultimately, I don't think it will cut down on the volume of these posts. People who don't own games are generally first time reporters, and several of them make a post anyway. Veterans wouldn't make a topic for this reason. Pending reports are rarely pending long enough for two people to notice and have one of them post about it. Finally, ones marked legit will have a different problem "Why is this still marked legit?" as the thread you mention is legit. In the case it isn't legit and marked incorrectly, a thread will pop up anyway.
