det_gittes
What's with the difficulty in the third stage? The first stage is very manageable and it's easy to get a high score but the third stage is pure hit-or-miss - does anyone know if there is any narrow time frame during which to press the right buttons or is it just luck? Or maybe there is some other trick to this stage?
Mr_Skirra
I absolutely hate the fact that there is no given time where you need to do the combo on the third stage. It's absolutely random in my eyes. I just can't get it to work and I just get gored over and over again. Worst game ever.
Dreamer5xH
i have toro platinum. you're looking at it as its impossible and hard. the idea is you must hit the combos in a timely matter not too fast or too slow. if you got it. its extremely easy platinum no matter the stage. its all about training for the timing and figuring it out
Guardian_owl
Combos in the 1st round are generally close range (especially the first 3) to mid-range. Combos in the 3rd round are generally mid to long range. It unfortunately just takes some experimentation to figure it out as the distance often varies for each combo. For the 3rd round, a good marker is to watch is the bull's head, it will lower its head near mid-range so that the horns are facing forward. Generally the 3rd round combo should be finished when the bull lowers its head, or just before. Also to help you out with timing, you can queue up a combo. Hold L2 to ready the cape, taunt the bull with R1, and then immediately enter the first button in the combo. As long as you don't let go of L2, you can wait to just the right moment to press the last button in the combo. Figure out the timing distance on the first 3 unlocked 1st round combos and the first 3 unlocked 3rd round combos, then just swap out the 4th equipped first round combo and the 4th equipped third round combo as needed to complete challenges. Some levels have challenges requiring the completion of 2 types of 3rd round combos, but those should be easy since they don't require not being gored. Shoot for the one that requires the most passes first, then if you have time, go for the other. If not, replay, sit there and get gored while you wait for the 1st round to finish. Then complete the requirement for the other one combo in the 3rd round.
