Upupupu, geemu wo shiyou!

---Credits to mai imouto for the banner---

Welcome... to the depth of human kokoro. Welcome to the most basic, most elemental feeling of them all... despair. These games will make you lose all hope you may hold. You will curse your own powerlessness against the terror of despair. You will experience immense fear, immense immersion and in the end, you will never want to be freed from it. In the end, you will realize, that these stories can be much more than a game...

Special Thanks:

Sign me up. I just got introduced to these type of games. I completed Zero Escape: The Nonary Games and Zero Time Dilemma. Don’t know if that counts for 2 or 3 games. Really good story driven games, I really enjoyed them. I already put the Danganronpa games in my wishlist. Will definitely play them one day.

Okay, I have completed Danganronpa 1 & 2 (Vita) and Virtues Last Reward (Vita).

So that qualifies me for 2 Worlds 2 Games 2 Stories.

I sadly stopped Ultra Despair Girls somewhere in the middle and have no motivation to continue or start again. That really sucks :(

You've all been added!

I have every plat on this list except for VLR so Desperate Hope for me. (even though I technically beat it in the Nonary Games collection)

You've been added! As for the 999 + VLR stack requirement, I'm not generally a fan of stacking and I try to remove it as a PP requirement whenever possible (hence why Danganronpa 1+2 Reload is a substitute game, and not required). In this case though, it didn't feel fair to those who had finished the VLR standalone release to not have it count and 999 is clearly a separate game, so I decided to require both 999 and VLR. VLR is definitely worth replaying though so perhaps I'll see you in the plat rank soon!

Glad this is back and running.  Mark me down for Desperate Hope as I have them all done except for V3.

You've been added! V3 is actually my favorite of the games story-wise and would say it's totally worth it. It is also, unfortunately, the most grindy and difficult of the plats, but you can do it!

I have completed:

Danganronpa 1, 2, and Ultra Despair Girls as well as The Nonary Games!

I'm not sure if that makes it 5 or just 4

That's 4 games. You've been added!

I think the reason they asked was because, as Reload contains Danganronpa 1+2, Nonary Games also includes Virtue's Last Reward.

Edit: Sorry, I'd slid by your response to Tsardine earlier on this topic.

So, I have the following:

  1. Danganronpa 1/2 Reload (counts as 2!)
  2. Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (PS4)
  3. Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma

That makes me 2 Worlds 2 Games 2 Stories, I think. I've also completed a complete trilogy of Zero Escape.

Blick Winkel here.

Also, will Zanki Zero be added to this project?

Welcome Blick Winkel!

Good question on Zanki Zero - I'm not 100% sure, but it definitely fits the Despair theme and made by some of the same guys as the other series listed here. I'll watch some footage and read some reviews after release and then decide. For those who have played it, I'd welcome your thoughts on how well it fits the theme.
