iGGTheEnd
I am curious is there any good turret defense games on PS4. Something like the ones you can play on the phone but no insane difficulty spikes that force you to spend money, just a good old fashion turret defense would be great. ijacob9876
I enjoyed Defense Grid 2. I haven't had the time to go back and platinum it but it was fun in my opinion.

Avatar_Of_Battle
There's Bloons TD 5. It's monkeys instead of turrets but a really solid tower defense game. Takes a long time to finish everything up too. Defense Grid 2 was ok. I found it kinda boring, but my brother liked it more than I did. Aegis of Earth is a spin on Tower Defense that I'm going to give a go one day. https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/4440-aegis-of-earth-protonovus-assault Defender's Quest is supposed to be really good and is a Tower Defense/RPG hybrid according to this thread. https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/56981-defenders-quest-coming-for-ps4-and-vita/ Edited February 24, 2019 by Avatar_Of_Battle

Just gonna watch a couple videos before buying it for sure.

It does take a long time to finish as the great Avatar of Battle has pointed out but every hour you sink into the game actually progresses the game. Defense Grid 2 has fun until you tried to Platinum the game and then the RNG sucks and you sink hours upon hours into the game and you may not progress as you need to for trophy purposes. I am definitely going to look into the other two.
crauuecrauue
PixelJunk Monsters 2 is exceptionally good, also one of the best looking games this generation IMO. Also Aegis Defenders is a fairly unique take on the genre, blending it with a side-scrolling platformer. audiopile
Not really my genre of choice but I quite enjoyed Final Horizon. Short and sweet, and fairly easy.
