False_Gix Posted February 24, 2019 Share Posted February 24, 2019 Everything I have seen about the Act 4 shadow wars made me think I was in for a huge grind of 10 stages, but I just finished it after only 3 stages and 5 total fort defenses! REDSHIRT64 Posted April 22, 2019 Share Posted April 22, 2019 I just returned to the game to finish the last DLC and I also noticed that sieges were improved to not be such a grind. Also adding in the ability to use currency to upgrade your captains/warlords was great! I spent so many hours manually leveling these guys up... Conor Posted April 22, 2019 Share Posted April 22, 2019 (edited) Because it used to be like that until July of last year when they removed the microtransactions and re-balanced the game to be a lot less grindy. Pretty sure that news dropped when it happend. EDIT: Just realised I'm responding to a post from February.
