BANGURDEAD04
Just want to see what other people find to be their most boring platinum they achieved. Personally mine was goat simulator. Bought it on sale and forced myself to plat it.
Athaen
Attack on Titan. Had one trophy left and couldn't let it go. Lots of grinding the same levels over and over again. Fun game... was just a painful plat.

Popular Post Sinastran
So far it's definitely God of War. Now, I realize I might need to explain that. I really liked the game. The story, the visuals, the boss fights, the way they used Norse mythology. It was all great. Thing is, I felt done with the game after I finished the story, which I usually don't do with open world games. I don't agree at all with their decision to make the world some sort of an open world/linear levels hybrid abomination. The trophies and collectibles were designed as if the world is completely open, yet every location is very linear and you have to walk very specific routes to reach what you're looking for. I'm not saying it's a hard plat by any stretch of the imagination, or that it's horribly tedious, it's just a very weird way to go about it, imo. I don't mind exploring and spending time with a game, but I dislike when I have to follow a step-by-step video guide for collectibles. Never platted God of war as am not a fan of the series but I hate those type of collectibles too or collectibles that are just there to be there. The only real ones I like are ones that have some story or purpose other then trophy related to get them. Kinda like TLOU and Mad Max
Rick_Sanchez
Mugen Souls after you do everything else and just have to grind for Shampurus.
Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. I was hoping for a post apocalyptic walking simulator with an interesting story, but it felt more like a bland crawl more than anything else towards the end. I didn't really find the story to be all that interesting and there was hardly anything to interact with other than the projections in the story which made this hard to finish on just a blind playthrough. It was the first time I felt like I was playing a game purely for trophies. Edited March 12, 2019 by Beyondthegrave07
thefourfoldroot
If I ever work up the level of self hatred required for the Diablo 3 plat it will be that. Bored myself to death going through the grind before determining to "come back after a break". As it stands, Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth. I'm really not into pure visual novels.
TheYuriG
Warhawk. I hated air-to-air grind. Probably gonna be MK9 soon, again because of grinding.
Condemned09
Magus. The game was boring the only positive thing I have to say about this game is the platinum is easy.
ElBolovo
Starwhal by far. Absolute ridiculous.
Arcesius
Oxenfree. I liked the first playthrough, at least somewhat. But three additional playthroughs, one of them "silent", made this plat super boring. Sure, one playthrough is not thaaaat long.. but still. Ended up really disliking my time with this one.

I totally agree with you lol I usually enjoy most of the games I play, but man Everybody's Gone to the Rapture felt like a chore

Popular Post ResidentScrub
Beyond: Two Souls.....loved my first playthrough but I had to psyche myself up and then drag myself through replaying some chapters....Navajo especially
Popular Post colia100
Everbody's gone to the rapture. If i wanted to walk around town at a normal pace and look at houses and trees, i would heave my fat ass out of my couch and do that in real life... Since that trauma, i check walking and running speeds on all new games i play, and if i can't haul ass, i'm outta there!
abhinandhan22
Kona- such a tedious game and one I got mainly for trophies (reviews were also favourable) Rise of the tomb raider - Such a step down in overall quality as compared to the first game and I hated all the collectible hunting. Red Dead Redemption 2- Great game but rockstar's poor and obnoxious design system in regards to 100% completion made the game tedious and mind numbing. GuerrerDaurat
Secret of Mana. I like the game, even if the remake could have been done much better, but getting some of the rare drops really tested my patience. I hate RNG.

I just stay away from walking simulators for the most part now, but checking running/walking speed in every type of game? That's commitment!
Popular Post Afro_Gear
Ride to Hell Retribution. at 73% and will have the plat in a few days. My only wish was that I watched the Angry Joe review first. This shit show of a game makes Rogue Warrior look like a fucking GOTY in comparison.
shopo
Everybody's Gone To The Rapture. My brother bought it and he kind of enjoyed it and since it was in the library I decided to check it out. It was a bad idea... I can understand that some people found it entertaining but it was just boring for me and didn't find the story interesting at all
WreckItPhil
For me it was Zombi. i really like zombie games like dying light or dead island, but this one is one of the bad ones. pressing and holding r3 was a pain, and the story sucked hard. doing three playthroughs really tested my patience.
Popular Post Dauersack
Up until a few days ago it was the platinum of Orcs Must Die Unchained, you play the same map over and over again between 500 and 600 times depending on your efficency and it got very tedious, but at least improving your average and testing new shit out kept it semi interesting for quite a while. Then I played The Forest, a great game that clearly had some drunken imbecile in charge of doing the trophy requirements. There was a trophy for destroying 1000 trees that was of course buggy, there was a trophy that saw you having the playstation on for many, many hours just to kill the time until day 100 that was slightly buggy, there was one for running through every centimeter of every dark as an asscrack cave that was of course heavily bugged so I had to do it 3 times for the trophy to pop, there was a trophy that wanted you to walk 50.000 steps that only began counting AFTER you found an otherwise useless small item in one of the maze like caves so I actually rubberbanded my sticks together for the character to run in circles for hours, there was the buggy craft 10 medicine that had me run around the map a few times to look for herbs, there was a trophy for eating every of the 6 mushroom types but one was so rare that people assumed it was bugged so you guessed it, more running around the map for good old me. Now even though I have done all of the above, I still do not have the platinum because of yet another bugged shite trophy called, ironically, Trophy Hunter, that wants you to display the head of every animal in the game as a trophy. Have done that two times by now despite the Geese being so buggy that you have to build an entire underwater structure below the surface to even have a chance of getting one of the heads(they pretty much instantly sink through the floor, but sometimes they get stuck on the structure), yet alone two, but the trophy still decided not to pop. At this point I no longer really care, my completionist ambition is already ruined by Super Meat Boy turning out to be not doable for me, so what is another unobtained platinum at this point. Really a shame that such a good game like The Forest leaves such a bad memory for me overall because of how shit and bugged many of the trophy requirements were. I-SilentEcho-I
Killzone HD, absolute chore requiring multiple playthroughs. Looks bland, plays bland, story and characters are one note. Forced myself to complete it in a few days, regret doing it.
