I last played it right before Revelations came out and the improvements made in the first two Ezio games makes Altiar feel way too limited in his move set. And the achievements on the 360 were awful. Way too many flags to collect. No thank you. AC1 was a beautiful, yet bland piece of work. And by “beautiful“ I mean only the graphics. Color was mostly gray on gray and the screen tearing was atrocious. Gameplay was incredibly boring and not as refined as in the sequels. I remember only going back and finishing the game as quickly as possible in order to be able to start AC2 with a completionist's clear conscience, so to speak. So I only did the bare minimum of the necessary pre-missions (carrying out the least annoying missions like beating someone up, cause picking pockets for example was dreadful) before I could kill the main target, then on to the next one until the final confrontation was due.

It's been awhile, but I remember it being pretty short in comparison to the average console open world game. I've never finished a AC besides this one (twice) so wouldn't know how to compare it to others in the series. But it's got enough content that it's worthwhile, at least for me. And I recall the original remaster making a few QoL changes that improved the game/plat too.

Other than that I like the new look of the trophy tiles. Will play it again as I didn't mind it on PS3. Just hope the bugs have been worked out. I remember one time swimming through the swamp and when got to land kept right on swimming right through the land. I asked them on both Facebook and Twitter. Will get back to you if I hear a response.

Pumpkin Head Cthulhu
this is one of the few AC games that i am interested in but the only way to get it is to buy either AC 3 or Odyssey which kind of sucks. Is it worth getting AC 3 on PS4 mainly to get this game? I really enjoyed Rogue if that helps, maybe i will look for a cheap used copy.
Bizzy_Montana_
(I accidentally replied to an older message at first) I think it's definitely worth getting AC 3 in order to get AC Liberation, ACL is one of my favorite AC's due to a nice change of scale of things to do. Feels better than the long grind in some AC's. Edited April 10, 2020 by Bizzy_Montana_ accidentally replied to an older message at first

Titanomachy_75
I enjoyed the game ... Liked it was not much of a grind. But it was enjoyable for whats it worth I only played AC 1,3,syn, and liberation I know Orgins start a new fresh take on the series ... Just wondering is it better or worst? I do like the counter and attack combat. How is Origin different? Edited June 20, 2020 by Titanomachy_75
da-Noob123
I liked the list, it was a pretty standard AC trophy list. 100% completion, collectibles, story related, and of course miscellaneous combat ones. I am glad that the MP was removed as it sounded nothing like the other AC MP I have played (and largely enjoyed actually). Thankfully it only took 21 hours. This was one of my least favorite AC games. The story was boring, it looks like this was game that started limiting what was shown on the map, and it was clunky. It had some good ideas but didn't capitalize on them all that well.
