S-rank questions

If I pause the game, does the timer still run? Also What character scenario is easiest to run (Leon A or B or Claire A or B)? Also I can still use infinite ammo, right?

The timer does pause when you pause the game, I'd say the A scenarios are the easiest and more lenient for S ranks and yes you can use any Infinite Weapon and still get an S rank.

Not only does the timer pause in the pause menu, but I'm pretty sure you can also see what the timer is at while paused, and in fact observe that it is not running.

Yeah I suggest going for either S rank or if you wanna complete it on hardcore go for A scenarios for both characters. Easier than B scenarios.

You can save as many time as you want and you'll get an S rank provided you under the par time.

While it's not part of any trophy to get S+ you can only save 3 times.

Is it tough completing hardcore using only the infinite pistol? I had quite a tough time getting the "minimum number of steps" trophy last year when I used a guide and save scumming to get the most efficient order to get the items.

 

Kinda dreading having to do these two hardcore runs. I know you don't need S Rank but I had a lot of trouble just playing on Standard difficulty.
