The interview with @Leon Castle is finished. It's nicely detailed, so have fun reading it.

 

Stock Questions

 

How did you come up with your PSN name?

I did not think that much about what my PSN name should be so I went with the name of crossover fighting game I was looking to get since my (now dead) cousin got a PS3 that I borrowed, the game was Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

 

What games convinced you get your PlayStation 3, Playstation Vita, and PlayStation 4?

For PS3 it was to keep playing my PS3 games I had back then it was my my (now dead) cousin owned it and btw my dad bought my cousin's PS3 so I'm still using the same PS3. For PS Vita it was Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart. For PS4 it was Megadimension Neptunia VII and Soul Calibur VI(I did not know if SC VI was going to made but I was hoping for it to be made).

 

What are your top 5 game series and why?

I have a lot of game series I like but here's five of them and they are in random order.

 

1. Pokémon - I liked pokemon since Pokémon Red and it was my first video game ever. I liked catching pokemon and ever since I tasted the power of a LV 100 pokemon back then doing the time of Pokémon Gold(& Silver for those that had that) I got two LV 100 pokemon on Pokémon Ruby(A Swampert and Groudon) but I losed that save before the time of Pokémon Pearl where I got a LV 100 Empoleon but I losed that save too. it was not until Pokémon Black and White I started getting sersious about "Gotta catch them all!".
   it says what I feel about Pokémon now but the one thing I dislike about Pokémon? Those damn one time only events, I still think they should hurry up and make all Mythical Pokémon DLC!(or make it so you can catch them like they did with Deoxys in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire).
2. Soul Series - Better know as Soul Calibur. Of all fighting games I played it's the one I'm good at and after Character Creation was introduced in SC III, it just made me love the series even more and until SC VII is made, I will say just one thing: The Legend Will Never Die.

3. Neptunia Series - After watching the anime and playing the PS3 games. I fell in love with this series and ended up picking Noire as my number 1 Waifu.

4. Fire Emblem - After playing Fire Emblem Awakening, I ended up liking the series so much it ended up one of my Top 3 Nintendo Game Series.

5. Mario - Ever since I was a kid I liked every game with Mario in it. Be it Super Mario, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Super Smash Bros.(I used to main Mario until Sonic joined in Brawl and now main Lucina from Fire Emblem for the last two SSB games).

 

What are your top 5 games and why?

1. Super Mario 64 - My favorite Mario game and the reason? Collecting stars and Throwing Bowser.

2. Marvel Ultimate Alliance - One of my favorite PS2 games from my childhood and it was one way I learned more about Marvel Universe and the PS4 version made it better with adding the DLC characters that was Xbox 360 only(My main team was Spider-Man, Venom, Ghost Rider and Iron Man).

3. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 - My first DB game and the one that light the flame for my love for Dragon Ball.

4. Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax - The one game that I prepared for with watching all the anime that was in the game(all but Boogiepop and Durarara). it was one heck of ride both the Anime and the game itself (I main Shana with Sadao Maou or Kojou Akatsuki as backup).

5. Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth - I have been waiting for a Digimon RPG to come to the west for a long time until this game came and it was sure alot more fun then those damn Fighting Games of Digimon. It was my 2rd Digimon RPG btw. unlike Digimon World 2003(the 1st Digimon RPG I had) I get to train a lot of Digimon I have seen in the anime and still I just went with my favorite team with some extra good digimon(My favorites was Onmimon(or Omegamon as they call him in japan), Imperialdramon Paladin Mode and Gallantmon plus Beelzemon Blast Mode the Dragon Slayer).

 

Do you have any other hobbies outside of gaming?

I like collecting Lego since I was a kid, watch Anime and read Manga/Light Novel.

 

Top 5 TV shows, Movies, and/or anime, why, and would you recommend them to people?

Anime:

1. Heaven's Lost Property/Sora no Otoshimono - My first anime... that I knew was a anime, I love it both seasons. I found it funny, interesting and fun.
   Season 1 Episode 4 is the funniest episode ever. Tomoki Sakurai the Perverted but still nice guy and his motto "Peace and quiet is the best." has stayed with me for years since I first watched this anime.
   
2. Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought There-  Doing the time which I was not that ready to join the adult work life and then I came across Gate and the MC in this anime was a Otaku named Itami Youji who's reason to work was to support his hobby and also it was funny seeing JSDF kill anything from fantasy like dragons without a loss at their own side.
3. Is This a Zombie?/Kore wa Zombie desu ka? - A anime about a poor zombie called Ayumu Aikawa  that's forced to crossdress! to fight off big animals called Megalos and survive the heat of the sun, he's also unkillable. I gotta say I loved the heck out of the series.
   
4. Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor/Roku de Nashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records - one of my newest favorite anime. The Main Character Glenn Radars the lazy bastard turned out to my most favorite male character as he was not only lazy, he was also funny and awesome(as He jump kick a door open while he was covered in blood).
   
5. Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu./Gonna be the Twin-Tail!! - This anime made me realize my love for twintails. also I liked the other two series with Kasuga Ayumu's art. I started to call the three anime for the Ayumu trilogy(the only thing Joukamachi no Dandelion and Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut had in common with Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu. was the Character Design was done by Kasuga Ayumu and never had a season 2).
    

 

TV Shows:

1. Supernatural - While I watch this show with Dad, I like that the Winchester brothers goes around to hunt many supernatural beings(with the most monsters being Demons), Also I find Dean Winchester, cool and funny.
2. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Other Show I watch with Dad. Of all the Marvel Live Action TV shows, I liked Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. the most as Phil Coulson returns from his death in The Avengers(it would be funny if any of the members of the Avengers or his killer Loki knew He was alive) also unlike Netflix Marvel TV shows it happens "after the scenes" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies like Thor: Dark World and Captain America: Winter Soldier.
3. Hawaii Five-0(Modern version) - Other show I watch with Dad(Yeah unlike Anime I only watch TV shows with others in most cases being Dad or Mom & Step-dad) The reason I and Dad liked the modern version over classic Five-0 was that the classic was that it was a boring James Bond like show while the Modern was exciting and funny also I at least think the modern Steve McGarrett was badass.
4. The Flash - A TV show I watch with Mom & Step-dad. after watching it I started to like Flash so much He's my 3rd Favorite DC Super Hero after Superman and Batman(and he just might be faster then Superman as he's the the fastest man alive)
5. Castle - Other Show I watch with Dad. A Crime TV show with a writer aiding the cops, while I got late into show I still liked it and Richard Castle was funny(He even got a bulletproof vest that says Writer instead of usual police) and was the inspirational for my last name.

 

Top 5 favorite music bands/group/artist?

1. Cryoshell - While I don't listen to their songs made past Bionicle well I did listen to the song they made for Hero Factory, Still I listen to "Creeping In My Soul" "Face Me" "Gravity Hurts" "Closer to The Truth" "Bye Bye Babylon" and "Breakout" every now and then
2. Crush 40 - The thing I liked about Sonic was the music well the Sonic games I played was fun anyway, of all the bands/artists I liked Crush 40 the most.

3. Hatsune Miku - After playing the demo of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F and then the full version of the game, I ended up loving Miku and her songs(well all besides the nyanyanyanya nightmare)

4. Nao or as I call her 5pb. - Nao is the Voice of 5pb. well anyway. I liked hearing the OP in Neptunia every time I play the game until I plat it and most of the time Nao/5pb. sings the OP.

5. Hironobu Kageyama - The first Japanese song that I heard and liked a lot was from him. After that I started liking well almost more like only liking Japanese music.

    

Your favorite platinum?

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk - all but one trophy makes the trophy list feel like a book(and the funny thing is, you are a book in this game) Fun story that made me feel like Trunks from Dragon Ball Z in the end. But it made me stay away from Criminal Girls games.

 

Your least favorite platinum?

DC Universe Online - While I liked the Batman and Superman mentor end missions. I had to pay money to get almost all my characters to level 30 as they only have 3 mentor-based missions and I did not wanna play the same missions over and over again but I liked kicking Spectre's spectral ass 3 times.

 

Have you ever been tempted to switch over to the Xbox/Nintendo/PC gaming ecosystems?

I play both Nintendo and Playstation(mostly) but I did want to get Xbox just to play Tales of Vesperia and maybe Dead Rising 3, since Tales of Vesperia came to PS4 and Switch this year, my reasons to even get a Xbox is now dead. I only play VNs and turn-based strategy games on PC which is rare.

 

If you could have one game from any gaming generation be remade or re-released what would it be?

Lego Racers but remade with current and some old Lego themes, also more tracks instead of 12 normal and mirror plus the final track, 12 tracks from the old game remade and the "Human" minifigs have modern eyes and 12 new tracks based on "The Lego Movie", "Ninjago"  "Knights' Kingdom" etc.

 

How far are you willing to go for a platinum?

Until I hit my limit, like Greased Lightning from Sonic Generations or You Found Me! from Mortal Kombat or Living Legend and Special talent agent!! from The King of Fighters XIV. Just to say the few times I hit my limit.

 

What feature (besides backwards compatibility) do you think the next console generation should have?

Real VR like SAO.

 

What is your favorite thing about PSNP?

PP, LP and events and also I still think PSNP Trophy lists is beautiful.

 

What is your least favorite thing about PSNP?

Gaming Sessions which is like a double edge sword to me, sometimes I get the help with online I want and other times no person ever show up. Also that some people keep on calling Cory in the House a TV show from 2007-2008 a anime, that just makes me a little mad over how blind they are.

 

Is there anyone in the PSNP Community you would like to give a shout out too and if so why?

@TheVader66 since he showed off his Neptunia Trophies at Compile Heart Community Google+ version. which was one of the reasons I joined PSNP.

 

 

Community Questions

 

Who would win in an all-out war: Marvel or Capcom?

Marvel since Marvel have lots of powerful heroes and villains and also anyone wearing the Infinity Gauntlet can kill off the whole universe at least half of it

 

What is something about yourself that you would like everyone else to know?

I'm an Otaku?

 

If you were going to be sent to a deserted island and could only bring 2 things, what would they be and why?

My meds (one for meals and one for the whole day), since I have diabetes.

 

If true love is devoid of superficiality but all attraction is based on it, then how do you explain love at first sight?

Don't know as I have never felt it.

 

Mayonnaise as a pre-dinner snack? Discuss.

I only have Mayonnaise on two slices of bread with sliced tomato and cheese.

 

How do you come across with the series for the first time?

My now dead cousin showed me RE4 and I liked the game and Leon S. Kennedy so much that I started using his first name.

 

How do you make time to watch all that anime/manga and play videogames? I find myself struggling every time I have free time

Behold the power of a Loner! just kidding, as I said in the joke, I'm a loner and don't have many friends heck it might even be zero due to me being a shy person.

 

What was the #1 video game of your childhood?

After a lot of thinking, my answer is that Lego Rock Raiders (PC Version) was my most liked game as a kid well there was a Playstation version of it but that was boring compared to the PC Version.

 

Who’s your favourite superhero? And which games out of those did you like the best?

Spider-Man (Overall and Marvel, if it's DC it's Superman)

Favourite takeout food?

McDonald's

 

Do you watch Cobra Kai, or at least have some knowledge of what it is about?

Nope, but then if my Dad ever sees it pop up on his TV or I ask him to see if it goes on TV and he's interested in watching it(yeah I only watch TV Shows with others as I find it boring to watch alone)

 

If for some reason Norway was annexed by aliens and so you had to leave the country so that North Korea can drop a nuclear bomb and decimate any trace of alien life form, which country would you immigrate into?

If it happens while my Mom and Dad is alive, same country as them. if it happens while my Mom and Dad is very old and can't drive or is dead, Japan

1. Fate Series - I like every anime that is something based on the Fate universe and the reason is. I like how they put different myths and legends against each other but also the characters especially the female take on some myths and legends (Not Jeanne d'arc, Elizabeth Bathory and Tamamo no Mae as they already are female begin to with) Mordred is my favorite girl (yeah I like her more then her Dad... 2nd Mom or whatever you call it).

I like both but if I had own one it would be a cat as I'm too lazy to take care of a dog.

Why do fools fall in love?

Because Predator the embodiment of love wants some fools to eat

and Love is so ugly that it makes Rage look better (I take a Red Bull over a Violet Demonic looking alien any day).

 

Can you describe a perfect day to you?

A day without work and people walking by with zero chances of them throwing rocks at my window.

Wow, and I thought I watched a lot of anime!  I could make a top 20 or 25 list, but top 50 would probably be a little overkill for me.

 

Though, you make me feel sad when you say that you have no friends and are a loner. Add me on PSN if you need a friend!

Also, I'm going to pass on the real VR. I've seen enough SAO and the series has enough sequels for me to say NOOO to that!

I don't quite understand why people feel sad then ever I say I'm a loner or like being alone. The PSN is just a way talk to other people(mostly ones that sent messages to me) or know who my Boost partners is, to me at least(I really need to make it smaller,so many unknowns).

Well, this is coming from someone who knows what it feels like to be isolated from others and has been a loner for most of my life. I think there's times where it's good to be alone and times where you need friends to be there for you or at least talk to you. I know I've had stretches of my life like this, and even times I wish I had someone there for me.

 

It's okay to prefer to be alone, but not having anyone there for you when you might need it saddens me a little. That's all. I'm not saying it's pathetic or saying it's is wrong. I don't judge people like that.

Yo, my dude got a legendary interview from @Dragon-Archon I am truly touched that @Leon Castle mentioned me. I am very thankful to have met Leon in the Compile Heart Community in Google plus and he was an amazing moderator in the community (before Google shutdown Google plus) and he shares the same love for Neptunia and more specifically Noire as me. I am also extremely happy that he enjoys PSNProfiles a lot, his excellent skills in trophy hunting truly shines here with his amazing 136 Platinum trophies compare with my low 30 Platinum trophies. I hope he continues to have fun here and contact me if he needs any help or just wants to talk.

Dude, you have a great taste in games! I sank so many hours into Budokai 3 on PS2 and again on the PS3. Cyber Sleuth is great too, and it's sequel is in my top 5 favourite games. I just got into Neptunia as well.

Thank you. I did play Budokai 3 a lot until Budokai Tenkaichi 3 came out on PS2. I hope you enjoy Neptunia.
