VoidVictorious
I must be doing something wrong because this plat is rated so low any tips on the hard stuff?
TheYuriG
What are you struggling with? Would be easier to help if you were more specific.
VoidVictorious
I am struggling with the hard difficulty, perfects, etc. I don’t know if you unlock something down the road but this is not easy at all right now. aldreezi
You purchase power ups from the item shop but there is a requirement to be met for each one in order for it to be available on the item shop. Before you start a song you should see customize settings or something like that where you enable your power ups. I personally find the highest notes sped 7 to be the easiest, but it really depends on your preference and reaction. Han_the_Dragon
Actually if you use all of them at once, you can simply spam inputs and King Crazy scores on All Night difficulty.. This info is on the Comments section of the guide here. For the 50% perfect (and I think another trophy that requires a pong combo), you need a bit of practice, but using the "Specialist" song and the item that makes you not lose the chain so easily, helps a lot. I suck at rhythm games, and if I plat it (actually kind of fast), it's because it's a really easy plat! (I just hope that the trilogy on PS4 can be cheesed this way, because I want those 3 plats too..)
Eyjabria
Try not to rely too much on visuals as in trying to watch when exactly the notes hit the "markers". Instead listen to the music and press the buttons based on the rhythm. I personally often mess up when I'm trying to pay too much attention to the notes. Having "good ratings don't break combos", fever time and hype gauge increase related support modifiers on should be helpful too.

Alternatewarning
I believe that if you scroll over the ???'s it will show you the requirements in the info bar but I could be wrong. I know that was the case for P5D and P3D and I think P4D but it's been a long time since I've played that. Biggest advise I can give is use headphones and listen to the beat. While the songs don't follow it perfectly the beat will usually help you with oddly timed notes. You can also try youtube videoes of songs you're struggling with and listen to the button input timing.

Myu
It's been a while but I found this on my computer. Is this what you're looking for? If I remember correctly, you only need to buy the item once. Try different items to find which ones suit your style and the plat should become really easy. @Han_the_Dragon Dancing Star Night and Dancing Moon Night are even easier than this one

And if the other 2 are even easier, then that's great from me!!! (now, I need to continue to work Dark Cloud 2, instead of getting sidetracked, as usual, so that I can get my 200th Plat milestone and start to cash in my ready to plat games... Maybe I will get sidetracked with the dancing games too, if I find an easy way to set the plats without triggering them by mistake).
VoidVictorious
Is there a good way to get perfectionist? You need perfects and I don’t see a good method for this. These trophies aren’t even rare. I must be missing some magic setup. Please share! Edited April 27, 2019 by VoidVictorious
VoidVictorious
Still no luck! There has to be an exploit I am missing. Edited April 27, 2019 by VoidVictorious
Myu
The plat is easy but it still requires a bit of effort on your part. It's not a game that allows you to pop trophies every two seconds. There's no particular additional exploit, you merely have to try again and again and "git gud". To get better, I chose a song on a higher difficulty and did it several times until I somewhat knew what I was doing and then I went back to a lower difficulty and nailed it without any problem.
SnowxSakura
Play the song specialist, it's definitely the easiest one to get perfectionist on, it's also one of the shortest songs. Here's my clear on hard the first time with no modifiers on, made a few mistakes. I'm pretty bad at music games as well

I have played tougher games like this. Is there an optimal speed? Could my LED tv have something to do with it? Maybe I am just playing it incorrectly. I have never had this kind of an issue before... Edited April 28, 2019 by VoidVictorious
