Smashero
Equip "Omnipotent Orb" so you can use left d-pad for all the "left" notes and circle for all the "right" notes, so you will not have to follow 6 buttons, but just two. Just focus on the "sides" of the screen instead of on actual notes, since now You just need only one button on each side to catch them. Maybe it will help you a bit... How do you focus on getting perfects with that layout? That seems to be my issue. I also don’t understand how people claim to get crazy king scores using mystic when it makes the rings invisible. VoidVictorious
Any tips would help I am hitting about 170 perfects on specialist, but this shouldn’t be so hard. I feel like I am missing something big time. I have unlocked everything.
Intoner_Zero
Getting the Perfectionist trophy states that you have to get half of the song's notes on perfect. So on Specialist [Hard] there's 396 notes, you need to achieve 198 or so perfects for it to count. I forget the name of it, but there's an item that lets you get notes by hitting any button. Equip that, practice the song enough times so you're familiar with note layout, and keep Okay/Missed notes to a minimum.

I actually figured out a rather simple trick that people must be keeping to themselves. Thanks to all those that gave good tips. To the others, this “get gud” crap is getting old.
