...Aaaaanndd there goes any interest I had in this game. Another week, another Trashalaika game. It's kinda pathetic that people bend over and take it buying poorly made games for their ten plats. If this only had 10-12 trophies or 20 all bronze trophies people wouldn't give it a second look.

Yeah, people are ignoring the real problem here. Every week there's a new thread spamming this company. It's beyond a joke.

 

And before you argue, it is spamming. This thread isn't called "Bird Game + is coming out next week". It's deliberately been called "NEW RATALAIKA GAME" to bait people.

 

Every thread people come out of the woodwork with the "why all the haters?" comments and people keep falling for it. Getting caught up in the drama isn't going to make this go away. Reporting them for spamming is the only way you're going to achieve anything.

 

Honestly, I don't care if you like these games, hate them, think they're "destroying" the sacred art of trophy hunting (get over yourself), or any other crap. I'm just sick of seeing them constantly spammed on these forums by people who clearly have close ties to Ratalaika.

 

And full disclosure, I do own 1 Ratalaika game. I picked it up based on these threads and people saying "yeah they're easy plats but the games are actually decent." In my opinion, the game was crap, and I'm still annoyed that I fell for their marketing tactics.

Aren't you a sucker too for complaining on the forums about how trophies are being ruined and people are wasting their money? Let them spend their money the way they want lol. Atleast they don't have to put up with 60$ price tags, a 40$ season pass, and a triple A game filled to the brim with shitty microtransactions that the big retarded corporations are currently all pushing for. Rather give 5 bucks for an easy platinum, than a boring grindfest that is constantly nagging me to spend money on their full priced game.

If these games keep spawning in every week with multiple stacks, we really need a rebalancing of the leaderboards on this site here. We will eventually reach a point, where the leaderboards simply show who has bought the most ratalaika games instead of showing actual top trophy hunters.

 

A good start would be to increase the points of trophies based on their rarity. 

 

For example: 

 

Common -> Trophy points x1

Uncommon -> Trophy points x2

Rare -> Trophy points x3

Very Rare -> Trophy points x4

Utra Rare -> Trophy points x5

 

A common platinum would give the normal 180 Leaderboard points, but an ultra rare would give 900 Leaderboard points.

 

If nothing will be changed, PSNP might aswell simply remove the leaderboards completely, since they will become absolutely meaningless and ridiculous.

Not at the moment, though Sly keeps saying he wants to look into it. What I am able to do is merge duplicate topics into one which I typically have been doing recently for people who like to spam the same post in multiple forums - that way the thread will still show as a link attached to the other trophy lists

Yep, I'm betting we'll have to implement some sort of "Effort Ranking", and maybe the rarity or an effort leaderboard, or something along those lines to combat Sony's carelessness with trophy list rules & organization, much like how we flag down cheaters in the leaderboards to combat Sony's carelessness with trophy cheaters.  I'd imagine we'd add something like that down the line once it keeps getting worse than it already is lol

Regardless of Ratalaika, I’ve been wishing for additional leaderboards for a while. (URL not allowed) has 4 different leaderboards, while here we only have filters for each platform (PS4, PS3, Vita & Miltiplatform) and country select.

Also I don't understand why people get so excited about these games as well. I guess they are an easy way to rank up on the leaderboards.

True trophies has a ranking system like that. Maybe adopt something like that to this site? They have a true trophy scores which takes into account rarities and creates a different score. I'm ranked like 300 regular, and about 200 true there. Would cool to have something like that here. Maybe add trophy streaks too.
