Residue Bolts

Hey guys, maybe I’m missing something here but one of the ingredients is nest residue, which I assumed dropped when burning a nest. Just burnt one and that wasn’t the case. Anyone know how to get them?

that's where you find them...but not always....keep looking

Typically in burned out nests kinda looks like a pile of sand/gunpowder.

 

 Unsure if it's a glich. But when i unlocked the "improved cross bow" ( had the early access pre order)  or when i changed from having xbow to a sniper special weapon. 

 

I lost all residue ingredients i had collected.

 

 So just bear that in mind.  I've no clue if nests ever Respawn.

Nests dont respawn but once you get the recipe for residue bolts the old ones youve burnt will spawn residue.  Just check some old ones and you should find some.

Thats good ta know. *in the southern area havent hit any nests so lol*

Ya in my initial playthrough I badically just hit whatever nests were randomly beside me at the time with whatever malotovs I had,  later on you can craft 3 incendinary bolts with 1 karosene so you arent looking for karosene constantly.
