If PS5 allowed you to delete trophies, would you do so?

After thinking about it, I would much prefer sony to add a tool in for developers that after a trophy become unobtainable that they can make a way for someone to still get the plat but without that unobtainable trophy. I know people will argue it's unfair to people who earned those trophies but let's be real now days unobtainable trophies come from doing certain daily events or weekly events on yearly sports games, there is no grind for that except playing at a certain time. If you don't want to do it for older games that's fine but implement for future titles.

Absolutely yes. My completionist habit has made me do some things I'm really not proud of and it has tainted this profile for good. The only thing that keeps me from ditching it right now is that there are some Plats on it that I'm really proud of and won't be able to do again (GT5 for example). I also think that Sony should autodelete trophies that have been earned illegitimately if they have the means to detect it.

I think they should implement a feature like this.

 

But it should also have its limitations to prevent it from being abused. Such as requiring two step verification (possibly security questions). I also think they could limit how many games/trophies you can delete in a certain period of time. Like 2 every six months or something.

 

I would delete my missing Timestamp game (to re plat it), and two unobtainables on my main account.

Wouldn't delete games i've platinumed no, maybe those games with 1-2% done.
