iGGTheEnd Posted May 11, 2019 Share Posted May 11, 2019 Hey guys I have just sent out some emails to some developers to see if I can purchase some digital download codes as prizes for a competition that I want to hold here so fingers crossed that they get back to me. If they do reply and I am able to buy some codes I want to hold a competition to see who can get the most plats in 2D platformers and or Metroidvanias. I want to keep the competition to games sitting around %40 or less and there will be a point system based on rarity but I haven't fully figured it out yet it will be easier once I have a list of games. Obviously we can't have every single platformer and metroidvania as there are just too many of them but if we can get a solid list of maybe 20-30 to chose from I think that would be a good start. If you have any recommendations please list them in this thread. Heres to hoping some of the devs I contacted can help me get some codes as prizes so I can get the competition started ASAP. (These are ones I all have Platted) Salt and Sanctuary Chasm Shovel Knight Strider Timespinner Guacamelee 1&2 Yoku's Island Express Headlander The Messenger Mummy Demastered Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom Shadow Complex Omega Strike Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate Probably missing a few but those are the ones I could think of. (I haven't platted those though) Ya I was planning on making it so you can't have a trophy in the game before the competition, so hopefully I can make a big enough list that there are at least like 20 for each person who have already completed a bunch before the competition.
