How many times does it need to be said that Epic is the publisher and not the developer?

It doesnt matter, it smells to Fortnite, hunting pass seriously?

Activision published Destiny 2 and it was a greedy mess being the silver shop the core of the game so.. This game is free yeah, but it has the same formula as Fortnite.

You can say it 100 times but a lot of people still won't listen.

Developers come from Riot Games, Capcom, Blizzard, and Bioware. Heavily influence by Monster Hunter and somewhat Dark Souls. Graphics influence by Tangled (Honestly, if you look into animation, this movie was a lot of work).

Game looks good but I always wait to see the new roadmap before I jump in. Plus backlog. Hate getting hooked before devs ruin a good thing due to [many reasons].

Epic is grabbing publisher rights from anything that looks promising. To those waiting for Unreal Tournament... I gave up. These aren't the same companies that we grew up with, even though their names are the same.

  1. Different kind of publishing agreement. Destiny was made by Bungie more or less for Activision. (Also most of Destiny 1 & 2 problems are Bungie's fault not Activision's)
  2. Dauntless was like 85% done when they when looking for a publisher for PS4 and XB1. As far as the interviews show, they mainly went with Epic for easy cross-platform play since Epic already had the power to convince Sony to say okay.
  3. Dauntless has been in development since at least late 2016 and its art style and such had already been decided as seen below.
  4. Fortnite didn't become super popular, until late 2017-early 2018. The only thing it could have possibly influenced dauntless on was a pass style system for cosmetics instead of another style of system for the cosmetics. Also that wouldn't be unique to Dauntless in anyway, after fortnite showed that people are far more receptive to the "whatever" pass system, a lot of games picked it up.

Does anyone know if completing a trophy requirement on PC makes it unlock on PSN when connecting to a PS4?

Yeah, if you have the same Epic Games account linked it should autopop when you log in to PS4 if you’ve met the requirements.
