Deleting Trophies...

I really wish they would let us delete any trophies, not just 0%. I have a lot of games I tried but will probably never play again. Maybe they will change things with PS5, but it’s doubtful.

I am with you there ... I hope we can do this .. make it happen!! People will say but anybody can have a 100% profile! But as we know sony says they dont care about this so lets make it happen NOW!!

Why are people so obsessed with deleting trophies? People were obsessed with PSN name changing, they got it, but it screwed up their profiles and shit. There's no doubt that deleting trophies would screw up things. 

So you have a shitty percentage and don't plan to go back there? Big deal. I was like that too. You can either suck it up get it to 100% or leave it as it is. You can also hide it, but that's frowned upon by trophy hunters.

I'd like that option to happen there are few games i am not interested to play them after i earned few trophies but i gotta admit it won't be 100% good, it will screw things up like starting a game get few trophies then delete them then start this same game from the previous playthrough save file it will pop trophies as if you are cheating by game saving. and a minor screwing by messing up your trophy log even though that's not a big deal but still.

literally what's the harm if they do lmao? their hacked trophies are now gone. if they had already been banned from the psnp leaderboards for their hacked stuff, it's not like they'll be unbanned. weird mindset on this

That's your own fault because you either didn't look up ahead of time or you left it as it is before it went down. I understand some people like to play games blind first, but if they realize that a trophy is unobtainable, then again, that's their fault for not looking up. The only time I can see the people complaining about this type of shit if they started to play the game that had online trophies, but the servers got shut down immediately with no warning. That I can understand. 

I personally always look up to know if all trophies are possible. If there's an unobtainable, I would likely avoid it or play it on alt account.

Well, I'm not a big trophy hunter, but I always think it would be nice to have an option to ask if you want to install a trophy list when you start a new game. Once you choose no, it has to be remembered on a selected game so you don't have to worry about trophies and play how you want. I think this is a pretty cool idea.

 

Again, as I said, I'm not a big trophy hunter myself, always ensure to look up these trophies if you think you couldn't get them, play on an alternate account.

OT: I think that if people wanted a 100%, they'd just make a new account. Though I have said this several times before, 100% profiles are overrated. I have more respect for people who earn 75% of the trophies in a really hard game than someone who is too afraid to ever take the "risks" of playing the game in the first place.So to answer the OP, deleting trophies is unnecessary.

This shouldn't happen because I don't want a hacker deleting my shit. Yes trophies are worthless, and one day they will mean nothing to me, but I want to let them go on my terms. If my account was wiped I'd go insane. Same reason we can't delete games from the library. I don't get why people can't see the potential issue.

Every time this same topic comes up, it makes me want to figure out a way to hack 1% trophy lists ON to peoples profiles for games with unobtainable trophies.

 

Then I’d sit around and listen for the whiny screams break out around the world as society crumbles around me.

I second this, seems like it's popped up a few times in the last few months and it's a daft idea in all but one instance I can think of. It's a shame that some games MP may get shut down without any notice, I couldn't do the Resistance 2 MP because my ISPs connection was dire at the time and wouldnt connect with anyone but it's not a big deal because having a 100% profile is realistically, out of reach. Any game could just have it's servers shut off or launch with a glitch and never be patched, stopping you from getting the Plat.

 

If you care that much just start a new profile and do your research beforehand, stop letting digital pictures and numbers that mean nothing to anyone but the owner, ruin your gaming experience. Just be happy with what you earn and be proud of it.

I don't really see the big deal with having a game you'll never play on your profile, it doesn't affect you and if it bothers you simply try it on an alt account.

I'd give it less than a week before someone complains about losing trophies due to another person accessing their account.

Hopefully, they add a trophy deletion feature. It is long overdue.
