About

Capturing intense moment-to-moment racing action, GRID returns with an all-new experience where every race is the chance to choose your own path, create your own story and define your legacy in the motorsport world.

From the creators of the hugely successful DiRT and F1 series, Codemasters invites you to take your place in the GRID World Series and compete in intense wheel-to-wheel racing with the most iconic and desirable race cars – current and classic, from GT through Touring and Muscle to Stock and Super Modifieds – and in some of the world’s most iconic locations.

GRID captures every moment of the race, from the adrenaline rush of lights-out to the elation at the chequered flag – and in-between, it’s all action too. Incidents come one right after the other – tight overtakes, bumper-to bumper scrapes and competitive collisions – all heightened by rivalries, team-mates and a nemesis driver who will all either try to help or hinder your progress as you achieve your goal of becoming the GRID World Series champion.

This is news that makes my day. My favourite racing franchise after Dirt. Great to see it back in action

Meh. I expect an online heavy experience, with lots of microtransactions and DLC. I've lost faith in CodeMasters delivering a decently balanced game.

Nice, I was just yesterday playing Dirt Rally 2.0 thinking that they should have made a Grid game instead of a third Dirt game in a row, and now they announce one. I hope the handling is more in line with Autosports than 2, but I'm happy either way.

Formula J offbrand Super Formula?

Love me some Sepang too. Hopefully they'll get an Indy license with Indianapolis because of Alonso... Even if he can't qualify to the actual event with the pos that is Carlin / McLaren :P

Lol I still have all the GRID games pending to play on PS3. They look pretty awesome, as this trailer does too. My only doubt is why they are calling the game GRID and not GRID or something like that.:hmm: Anyhow, any racing game developed by Codemasters is seriously worth a play. They know this genre pretty well. 👍

@Honor_Hand the first game was called Race Driver GRID, a little remnant of the old ToCA series. Just like the first DiRT was called Colin McRae: DiRT.

I liked GRID 2 and Autosport (tho Autosport was very online heavy with the trophies). I’ll prolly get this sometime (that Fernando Alonso challenge sounds really cool) but I’m gonna get F1 2019 first.

WOW! This made my day!

I played both GRID 2 and GRID Autosport on my previous ID so I know I'm in for a good time. The heavy online (and MP trophy) component never bothered me since I'm terrible at racing games anyway. (Me, meet wall... again... *sigh*) Still, I did enjoy it. Let's see how well GRID fares in this generation of gaming, yes? I think it will do well but that's just me.
