Lars
This is news that makes my day. My favourite racing franchise after Dirt. Great to see it back in action

diskdocx
Meh. I expect an online heavy experience, with lots of microtransactions and DLC. I've lost faith in CodeMasters delivering a decently balanced game.
ElBolovo
Nice, I was just yesterday playing Dirt Rally 2.0 thinking that they should have made a Grid game instead of a third Dirt game in a row, and now they announce one. I hope the handling is more in line with Autosports than 2, but I'm happy either way.
totallycrushed
Formula J offbrand Super Formula? Love me some Sepang too. Hopefully they'll get an Indy license with Indianapolis because of Alonso... Even if he can't qualify to the actual event with the pos that is Carlin / McLaren
Honor_Hand
Lol I still have all the GRID games pending to play on PS3. They look pretty awesome, as this trailer does too. My only doubt is why they are calling the game GRID and not GRID or something like that. Anyhow, any racing game developed by Codemasters is seriously worth a play. They know this genre pretty well. ?
totallycrushed
@Honor_Hand the first game was called Race Driver GRID, a little remnant of the old ToCA series. Just like the first DiRT was called Colin McRae: DiRT.
DizzyDavidson
I liked GRID 2 and Autosport (tho Autosport was very online heavy with the trophies). I’ll prolly get this sometime (that Fernando Alonso challenge sounds really cool) but I’m gonna get F1 2019 first.

Icebrand1270
WOW! This made my day! I played both GRID 2 and GRID Autosport on my previous ID so I know I'm in for a good time. The heavy online (and MP trophy) component never bothered me since I'm terrible at racing games anyway. (Me, meet wall... again... *sigh*) Still, I did enjoy it. Let's see how well GRID fares in this generation of gaming, yes? I think it will do well but that's just me.
westersburg
Achievements have been revealed a few weeks ago: https://www.xboxachievements.com/game/grid-2019/achievements/ Look pretty easy and straightforward but it seems that you have to drive 40.000 km which means a grind for over like 200h. I dont get the reason for a trophy like this.
DaveMcDamage
Used to love the old Codemasters racing games back on PS2. But ever since Dirt and Grid arrived, they went for that horrible floaty feeling when it came to controls. Was horrible to play, but if you're more arcade racer friendly rather than a more realistic sim feel, then they could appeal to you. End of the day Grid and Dirt have sold a bucket load of copies, so despite what I think of them they clearly play well for others.
