I figured you guys would have avoided giving mod powers to someone as "controversial" as him. He definitely isn't "likeable" as stated in the opening post and I'm sure he'd be the first to tell you that. Can we really trust him to be impartial? I have my doubts. Also, didn't he disappear from the site for like a year and only came back recently? If the goal was to have more active mods, there must have been better options... As far as I'm concerned, the moderation on this site just went from bad to worse. Of course after saying all this, I've essentially painted a target on my back, but I felt like I had to voice my concerns. Bitching on the forum isn't going to improve anything and if you or others have issues with the way we moderate, I would genuinely appreciate the feedback. Hell, it may even clear up some misinformation you have or you might come out thinking we're even bigger assholes. Either way, I think it is a conversation worth having. When the site updated it started using a new template from the little I remember and some features were removed altogether like the WYSIWYG feature. Just welcome them regardless. If something goes wrong, go in the chat cry like a little bitch about it and then they will get removed. It's not that difficult, jesus christ. I'm very glad we are getting more mods. We need more people to step in and stop the drama threads we get every so often. Hopefully more moderation will help lowering the toxicity here and push the forums more toward trophies and away from "you did this, you did that, aaaaaaah you hurt my ego bwaaaaa". I wouldn't mind if we had more trophy-focused mods (think stevie is still currently the one that cares the most on the forums, Dragon being the one in the Guides team), but that's okay, maybe this is what we actually need.
