Let’s use the game “Refunct” as an example. I was the 10th person to obtain that game’s platinum. If you go to the 100% leaderboard, my new username shows up fine. Also keep in mind that the leaderboards do not update in real time and your name change wasn't even 24 hours ago. Be patient and don't take this too serious.
