What are you waiting for doing your remaining online trophies on PS3?

I don't have much time lately, I can't boost as much as I used to.

 

The game I have left are:

 

• Payday: The Heist (only those 4 trophies that need other people)

• Payday 2 (yet to buy the game, only 1 trophy though)

• Tomb Raider (yet to start)

• Dead Island (yet to start)

• Resident Evil 5 (yet to start)

• Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood ( yet to start)

• Starwhal (yet to start)

• Spelunker HD (yet to start)

 

 

I don't know if the following games count:

 

• Infamous 2

• Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

• Dead Island Riptide

I think it was around the time the PS4 launched that I went through my backlog, picked out games with multiplayer online trophies, then made them a priority for boosting.

And with how short lived some of these servers are, in the last couple of years, I started boosting PS4 games as well. It's why when you look at my trophy list, you'll see various games like Red Dead Redemption and Tomb Raider, where all the online trophies have been obtained, but I haven't started the single player content.

 

I'm more or less done buying PS3 games so after Ace Combat Assault Horizon and a couple fighting games, I should be done boosting PS3 games.

Tomb Raider is quite easy,you need 3 other players just for short time. You can get max level by self boosting.

 

RE 5 takes a long time,and is very boring. In some games,I didn't need to boost but here,randoms are just too good.

Some other games I'm still debating if I will play or not such as The Last of Us (PS3) before the server shutdown. Souls series also have online components but still easily achievable offline and some unobtainables such as Killzone 2 and Gran Turismo 5 I didn't even start by time they were shutdown, so I'm skipping those.

 

Quoting myself almost a year later and here what I have left:

 

- Payday 2: Started this one for sure, not unlike last year where I planned to but ended up not doing it.

- Dead Space 3: Going to be doing it right after Payday 2

- Metal Gear Solid V: Not started but also not worried much about it.

- (Ultimate) Marvel vs Capcom 3: Still need to find myself a copy ?

- God of War Ascension: Yet to start, still not worried about since the only online trophy should take total of 5 minutes.

- Dead Island & Riptide: Had these games but didn't pay attention to online only trophies on list before, kinda working my way to play these.

 

My list got significantly smaller, which is great, but there one or two time consuming ones that I haven't started yet, hopefully I can get all done this year with the exception of a couple of fast ones like GoW: Ascension or MGS V: PP.

Damn, quick update,  finished uncharted 2 and 3. Incredible boosting effort needed for zumba but that's done as well and only 2 dlc packs of black ops to go.  They're the hardest though,  moon and shrangla ri or whatever it's called.  Needing the 4 player Easter egg could cause some problems.

I've updated my first post, so many things happened but i'm not finished yet.

 

It seems that Battlefield Hardline has the most exhausting online trophy list of all. Criminal Activity has an insane amount of kills needed, EA should only put 1k per class, not 10k.

 

Aside the game is funny (at least), it looks like the game is dying slowly, so i'm a bit scared about the future of the game and the time i have to do it. I have premium for PS4 version but hell, i definitely will not play this game again once finished.

I'm currently racing to finish up Dante's Inferno for the PS3 and get the 100% on Trials of St. Lucia, but it's already been delisted in NA and is spotty at best in the UK, so I have to hurry. I purchased a UK hard copy of the game and made a UK PSN account just to be able to download the material. I'm hoping I can get them all before they shut it down.

I try to keep an eye open for any boosting groups for these games.  When there's one with a timeframe I can be available for that includes one or more of the trophies I need I join them.

I'm proud i got rid of so many online games. I don't have many plats as a regular trophy hunter but i'm glad of my profile. PS3 still have a lot of things to do for me.

For the past 1.5 years I have been focusing on cleaning up online trophies on PS3. As of right now, I have boosted online in any shape or form in 63 games, and still have 15 more to do. One thing I know for sure, there's nothing in the world that will make me go through that again on PS4.
