TiJoHimself
Hey all, I only have the challenge levels left for the platinum, and while I love the game I'm not sure I really want to go for it if the challenge levels are gonna take a long time. What did you think?
Arcesius
Honestly, there are maybe 2-3 challenge levels that require multiple attempts (especially the time trials if you don't know where you need to go the first time around). There are only three types of challenges: Time Trial (short levels that you need to complete in ~1 minute. Score Attacks (defeat enemies with gadgets to score points) One challenge for each boss, where you need to defeat said boss without taking damage. To sum up, they are for the most part really easy, it took me about 1.5 hours to get them all done.
GRDavies
I'm in the same boat as you, only 2 trophies left besides the auto complete of getting them all trophy and platinum and i'm doubting myself. I had a bit of trouble with the forelast boss and more so with the last boss (second phase, somehow i have trouble with throwing shuriken) in the campaign play. Maybe with enough practice (and a 'lucky' run now and then where i don't fumble), it feels somewhat doable, but also gives the sensation, so close yet so far. 16 challenges left, some trophies aren't meant for me Edited June 14, 2019 by GRDavies
POEman553
Challenge 1-4 seems to be the most challenging one. The touchpad hookshot sometimes doesn't work even when you haven't used it.
xDevilizer
Levels are short and not that hard. The only one I had to repeat was the shark level, couldn’t time the jump over the waves. The rest was a breeze
thefourfoldroot
Only a few needed trying more than 2-3 times, but they are very short. Play and enjoy. You'll be sad when this game is over. One of the greatest platformers ever made. Edited January 20, 2020 by thefourfoldroot
POEman553
The shark boss without damage is the biggest piece of sh*t challenge I've ever seen. If you cannot SEE what's on the screen too well, it makes it impossible to complete. I have 6 challenges left and I'm done with this sh*t. I want to punch the people who made this game.
MikeCheck--
@POEman553 did you get it? The Shark one was honestly the toughest "don't die on bosses" challenge but with some practice it isn't too difficult

MikeCheck--
@POEman553 That is unfortunate to hear, I really enjoyed the game and its challenges. Give me challenges over tedious collectibles any day (obviously depending on the difficulty of the challenges) I absolutely hate time trial challenges, ESPECIALLY 10 MINUTE ONES (UNRAVEL TWO)
FairyCal
Some challenges can be frustrating, but they are not that hard. I personally do them every 2-3 levels to not tire too much of them
