Does the speed king trophy glitch still works?

Like this page says, you can do the normal time attack and get all the items but don't take them from the pool, then change to ng+hard and you'll see all the hard items there. Is this glitch still working? I read that works, but I read in other places that don't work. Thanks

Make a backup save on flash drive or PS Store just in case though
