Farhad_S
In the mission where you rescue Malak, I took too long scoping out the initial area and a couple of prisoners got executed, including the transportation specialist. I'm now in Africa, and realise I can't fulton heavy stuff because I didn't get that guy. If I replay the mission, can I just enter the fort and fulton him, and then leave the mission, or will I have to complete the entire mission again? Rewemarkt66
randomly saw this thread I think you can play up to a checkpoint, but finishing the mission is the less risky way. besides i think i heard that the mission tasks can be a bit glitchy if you don't finish a mission or something. but it's been too long that I played myself, so no 100% guarantee, if someone else sees this they might know better.

If I recall correctly, you need to complete the mission.

It is better to finish the mission -- and the mission is not long.
