What did you think of the of The Fate of Atlantis DLC as a whole?

Spoiler ahead

I'm just curious  to see people's opinion with this DLC and where it could lead to the next game?

I really enjoyed this DLC far more then the First Blade DLC due to the Isu's being involvement as I've always enjoyed the Isu's story more than the main story in the entire series ?. I do feel for the 'present day that' it ended poorly with a cliffhanger(ish), apart from that though I thought it was a breathe of fresh air as thr story felt different than the main game story unlike The First Blade DLC which were meh. I also loved each of the realms as they felt different to each other and not just the same to explore and I really like they included Juno into the DLC as she was the main villain in in the series (until Ubisoft decided to kill her off in the comics?)

No doubt with Layla and the staff with the Isu's connection will carry to the next game for the 'present' day which is a big impovement as it's no longer that you were just a nameless employee of Abstergo, it can actually go somewhere now. I just hope in the main game that it changes it up a bit with the mission structure and pointless quests as it felt tedious at times.

I enjoyed it more than Legacy of the First Blade as well. Overall I enjoyed the fact that the present day seems like it's having more thought put into it. It's made me curious to see where Layla's story, even if I don't like her much, goes in the next game.

My main issue with them is the same as the main game, there's no set story. I feel like Odyssey as a whole is pointless if we're not all experiencing the same story. :S

Another issue I had was with the layout. I did not appreciate the ridiculous teleport to different levels aspect.

I did really enjoy the boss battles though. Even as a tank they were kinda fun.

Don't know which of them looked best to me, but none of them seemed to compare to Aaru from Origins.

I was kinda bummed Atlantis wasn't fully underwater with a new, faster way of swimming and the giant hecantonquiros (don't know it's name in english) was too easy and vanilla looking. It sould've been fifty heads, hundreds of arms... I wanted to see a way unholier abomination than just a rando giant that was merely spooky at best.

But hey, we got Cerberus done pretty fine even though Hades' boss battle was beyond boring (And I'm not a fan of how he looks. Yellow skin and his slender body and weird armor don't spell "ruler of the underworld" to me other than his unique weapon). Cool locations, not much of a chore... I liked it.

I enjoyed The Fate of Atlantis a lot, I liked how it went full sci-fi, felt like a good companion to Origins' The Curse of the Pharaohs going full supernatural.

It's pretty strange to me that Layla got more plot progression in this DLC than in the whole main game, I like the modern day storylines but when you splice a one hour modern day plot into a 120 hour game I find it hard to keep track of it.

Also Layla's two main companions have been her two medical supervisors, who have both died in the game they're introduced. Her longest relationship so far is the sociopathic William Miles, so good luck to her.

I enjoy the Isu storylines, so this was what I was waiting for, specially at the end of Part 3. I felt it also helps to explain what Curse of the Pharaohs in Origins was actually about, that Bayek had stumbled across Isu simulations of the Egyptian underworld that controlled something outside.

As for the future, I really don't know what to think. Ubisoft is way too unpredictable when it comes to continuing the stories. Yes, Juno was killed off in the comics, almost all of Layla's team in Odyssey is from the comics, and most of Otso Berg's story is in the comics as well. All I can say is I really hope Layla's story is continued in the next game and not in a novel or comic.

Pretty good overall, Juno was a nice addiction but it looked more like fan service than an important character for the plot.

The modern day was horrible in my opinion, it's pretty easy to say that Layla will be the next antagonist of the series (corrupted by power, killing her friend and just ignoring it 5 minutes later, being a bitch to everything that talks or moves, etc). At this moment I just want Layla to get killed by someone, maybe the son of Desmond since he is an important character from the comics and I would like to see him in the games

I think it all was underwhelming. The Olympian gods were as powerful as a wet fart. I prefer the Olympian gods in GoW series where they  actually are powerful gods that demand respect  and not cowards with no powers like in Odyssey.

The Hecatonchires also was underwhelming and GoW even did that better.

Whole season pass was kinda bad compared to base game.  Was nice with the new versions of certain skills but i have yet to use one for any other purpose then trophies. New Legendary weapons and armor were all useless compared to the Demigod set you got from main game. The warrior weapon in atlantis ep3 that converts 50% of warrior dmg to all dmg was the only good one.

Felt like an errand boy in both DLC's and the main game. Fetch this, get that, escort her, invetigate that. Best part was the new world bosses that came with Tales of Greece, to bad there only were 2 of them.

The season pass is worth it only because of the amount of content you get, but knowing what i know now i would have waited for it to be cheaper before buying it.

best assassins creed dlc ever, which doesnt say much lol

i think the first two episodes were great, they just suffered from horrible geometry, made traveling tedious, the third, however, had an amazing environment with very small gaps between each gameplay loop

very satisfied overall

I liked it. Then again I like the Isu lore. I admit it had the same problem for me as the main game where it had a bunch of errands and some of it felt... disjointed. I deal with one thing, then another but they don't seem connected even if they're supposed to be. Favorite realm is Atlantis because exploring an Isu city (even though it had the same objective as main game) seemed cool. I got tired of climbing in Elysium. Tartarus wasn't bad I suppose. Layla could be less bitchy sometimes, even without the staff. My question is in Origins, she said she wouldn't join the Assassins but still work with them. When did she change her mind?
