Popular Post freddie1989
Just a quick Monday morning update from me to remove me from the fact I have another weeks work ? Plugging away on the after game grind on Watch Dogs, finished all investigations over the weekend so juts have to do remaining fixer contracts, hideouts and convoys. I do truly love this game though and it has been a pleasure to experience something different. Need to look at making a start with the DLC and the online elements as well soon. Other than that I did a few missions on Far Cry last week but not really got going yet. Hope everyone is having a blast so far with this again. The only 100% non-plats I played other than Doodle God and Doodle Devil are The Song of the Deep and A Boy and His Blob, so don't recommend those. I also played Pocket RPG for the Vita, okay game for the most past but very frustrating. I'd like to try something new as long as it's not dark or gory and not too frustrating. You should give What Remains of Edith Finch a go. You probably already have it in your library if you’re a PS Plus member. It’s short though so I wouldn’t spend much on it if you don’t already have it. It’s a chilled out walking simulator with a great narrative.

Popular Post EPICRAGE
FIRST UPDATE: I figured I would update every two weeks. I managed to complete 6/47 games so far which is a little slow since I want to finish them all by the end of October but the first few games were a little lengthy. I'll probably make up some time with the next bunch of games as they are non-platinum and some can be completed quickly. I also made it a little harder on myself and added a couple games. 1. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission - 2. Vacation Simulator - 3. Just in Time Inc. - 4. Blood & Truth - 5. Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted - 6. Intruders: Hide and Seek - I wasn't ready to jump into the horror games yet so I added Just In Time Inc. which was a quick platinum but a pretty fun game. I love games that have a lot of movie references in them plus the game mechanics were fun. As for the other games I played, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission was so charming and fun and a real showcase on what VR can do outside of first person POV games. Vacation Simulator was a lot of fun too. It also had a lot of charm and some great humor. The sandcastle/ice sculptor mini-games were the only somewhat difficult tasks. Blood & Truth was a decent shoot em up but I thought the story was weak. The gameplay was polished though and I'm glad it wasn't a completely on rails shooter. It also had some of the best graphics and facial animation out of all the VR titles that I played. Then I started by horror marathon with Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. I was a little disappointed with it because, after all the hype and popularity of this series, I found it pretty basic and there's not much to it. Each game in the series is very short once you figure out what to do, which does take a bit of time since the game doesn't necessarily tell you what to do. I did get jumpscared quite a few times though and the design of all characters were creepy and fun. I'm glad I waited so long to play it as there is a lot of content in this package and I think VR really added to the fun and scares for this type of game. I don't see how it would be very scary just playing on a regular computer screen. The last game I finished so far was Intruders: Hide and Seek. It has a very interesting concept and is really something when played in VR. I think horror games might best be played in VR when you are so immersed in the game especially if it has a good ambiance. I still have nightmares about Resident Evil 7! Intruders was good at first but I found you can cheese your way through it and there isn't much of a threat from the Intruders. It was worth playing but I'm glad it was a shorter experience. NEXT UP: Spoiler 7. The Exorcist Legion VR 8. Transference 9. Wraith 10. AFFECTED: The Manor 11. Dead Land 12. Dead Secret 13. Slender Man 14. Emily Wants to Play 15. Emily Wants to Play Too 16. Weeping Doll - ADDED 17. The Bellows: A Horror VR Experience - ADDED 18. Caretaker 19. Pineview Drive 20. Knock Knock 21. Neverending Nightmares 22. Uncanny Valley 23. SOMA 24. Layers of Fear 25. Layers of Fear 2 26. Observer 27. The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan 28. Black Mirror 29. Perception: Remastered 30. Welcome to Hanwell 31. True Fear 32. NightCry 33. Through the Woods 34. Death Mark - ADDED 35. Dead Synchronicity 36. Claire 37. Thimbleweed Park 38. Halloween Forever - ADDED 39. Crossing Souls 40. Stranger Things 3 41. The Walking Dead: The Final Season 42. Night Trap: 25th Anniversary Edition 43. Kona 44. Ghost Giant 45. Deracine 46. A Fisherman's Tale 47. The last few trophies were a pain. Had to do the last dungeon twice to get all dance event trophies, except for Sara. I didn't have enough friendship points with Sara, but I only noticed that when I couldn't trigger her dance event. So I had to go back to an older save yet again, spent all festival tickets on her to get enough points, did the final dungeon (on nightmare difficulty no less) for the third time, triggered her event and got the trophy. Then after that, when I bought the last Impereal Chronicle at the school store for the books trophy, the trophy didn't pop up and it was only then I noticed that I somehow missed a newspaper you can only get in chapter 6. So had to go back *yet again* to a save at the very end of chapter 5 to play through the entirety of chapter 6 & the last chapter again of get Chronicle 9 (in chapter 6) and 11 (after the last dungeon) - again on nightmare difficulty. Those are oversights on my part, but... that could have been so much faster. Still a great game. Took my time with my first playthrough (~95h), talked to everyone after every major story event etc. Turbo mode was a great addition. Made the highlands so much more bearable. I'm going to do a new game plus run on Cold Steel II on PS4 with my clear data from the vita version, so there won't be any updates on my PS4 games for a while. Once I finish that run, Cold Steel III should be out and I'll start that next. Meanwhile I'll continue Danganronpa on Vita. I completed the story and anything casino-related. But... this will still take a while. Don't know why they thought playing through the Talent Development thingie more than 50 times was a good idea... Must say that I like this game and hated the Basegame's ending for John BUT Jack's vengeance was well earned. Some of the Single Player challenges where just idiotic (Killing animals with a knive). And in Undead Nightmare I must kill animals with the torch. ? Undead Nightmare is actually fun to play. Just arrived in Mexico. Current percentage per pack in whole trophy list: Red Dead Redemption-Basegame: 95% ⏩ Only Mowing Them Down (500 monted weapon kills) and Friends in High Places (Pardon letter with $500 bounty) are left. Outlaws To The End Co-Op Pack: 50% ⏩ Completing Normal missions and Advanced Co-Op missions and go for gold medals in both must be done. Legends and Killers Pack: 100% Liars and Cheats Pack: 92% ⏩ Only need Legion of Boom (Tripple kill on Stronghold). Undead Nightmare: 30% ⏩ Only need Smoke the Skinwagon, finish the Single Player and 100%ing it. Also I decided on making this game my Platinum #100. Will do Mowing Them Down (500 monted weapon kills) in Undead Nightmare's Single Player campaign. Also I saved in the tundra in the basegame with $5000+ active bounty which allows me to get Friends in High Places very fast. ==> This way when every DLC trophy is completed I can get the platinum as last trophy. Until later ☺️ Edited September 16, 2019 by Geridian

Popular Post MadMardigan_88
Decided to add Call of Cthulhu. It's been sitting on my shelf for months. I like the game, except for the collectibles not being where they should be if you have to do a reload checkpoint is really annoying. I know there is one trophy that I have missed in chapter 2 but it wont take very long to get it after I get the rest of them. Hoping to have it finished on Wednesday. By the time this challenge is over, I might have 50 games on here. Will all of them be finished? Guess we will find out at the end of the challenge. Made a lot of progress this past week, completing the campaign for three of the above games! Teslagrad - Haven't returned to this game since last week, but I didn't mention anything about it during my last update so I said I'd include it anyway. I decided to follow a video guide right from the offset, as Teslagrad's trophies are all based on finding collectables called scrolls. Some were easy to get to, others not so much. There are some interesting mechanics at play, but a lot of the difficulty is nullified due to following a guide. Your main goal is essentially making your way to the top.. one false move and you can lose quite a bit of progress (which I learned pretty early on). I'll be sure to make use of cloud saves to minimise frustration. Metro: Last Light Redux - Finished the main campaign on survival difficulty while simultaneously getting the 'bad' ending. I opted for a blind play through and enjoyed what the game had to offer. It follows on from the events of Metro 2033 and features an interesting story with a pretty lengthy campaign, especially for a first-person shooter. Artyom feels a little stiff to control, even with the sensitivity set to max, but that's only a small complaint. The mechanics at play were very similar to those in Metro 2033 so it was nice to have some experience in that regard (throwing grenades and recharging your batteries can be quite difficult to figure out for newcomers). Going to make it's platinum my 7000th trophy, a nice milestone to have. Alone With You - I've completed the story twice during the past week. It's hard to believe I still have another three runs before I'll pick up the platinum. I've been following the fantastic text guide on here which has me making cloud saves in order to minimise the amount of time spent on the game. The story was pretty good, although I'm not a fan of reading through walls of text. I definitely prefer to listen to audio rather than read through text, I feel I take in a lot more listening than I do reading. The game play is pretty simplistic, albeit quite repetitive even during my original run. I believe I will be tired of this game by the time I'm finished with it. The Mark of Kri - Interesting PS2 title which I never played back when it was originally released. It has some funky controls, but it didn't take long to get used to the control scheme. The lack of subtitles annoy me, and I have no idea why they didn't bother to remaster the cut-scenes on top of the game play itself. It just comes off as lazy and doesn't do the game any justice. I finished the campaign a short while ago. It was fun, even with cheats, and provided enough variety to keep me entertained for the short time I spent on the campaign. All that remains are a few Arena challenges which I should be able to finish tomorrow. Not entirely sure if I'll start anything new this week, but knowing me I probably will. Until the next update, glad to see everybody's making dents in their backlog's.

Nah, didn't play while exercising, it's just a distraction for car drives... which is pretty much obseleted when you have a baby niece who your parents have to take with them everywhere. Let me just say, OMG, I never realized you could skip LEGO game cutscenes on the Vita by pressing the Start Button! Having come from PS4 which has unskippable cutscenes in story mode, this was a breath of fresh air and makes the Vita versions so much shorter. I found you could do it in LEGO Jurassic World, LEGO Harry Potter, and LEGO Batman 3. If it can be done in every LEGO Vita game, I would plat a lot more of these games. Popular Post neospoon
The tiniest of tiny updates. I'm almost done with my 2nd playthrough of TLOU. After that it's only a Survivor+ run kind of... Apparently I missed more than 1 optional conversation, cause I went back and did the one I know I missed and the trophy didn't pop. Also missed 3 collectibles, I did manage to get those with the use of chapter select, and that's my update. Two more trophies out of the way. There's 11 trophies left of which 7 are for finishing on certain difficulties, so those will be done after my survivor+ run. Then I need to fully upgrade Joel and all weapons, which I might try on my +run and finally I need to redo all the optional conversations... I knew TLOU was a slow trophy earning game, but it's getting kind of ridiculous at this point. I will be so happy once this game is done. The trophy is somewhat glitched. I had a similar issue when I went for it. Select university from chapter select and run through it until you see a Firefly logo on a wall. Ellie will comment on in and as you get close there is an option for a conversation. Ignore this and go past it (to the right, if memory serves). You will come across a second Firefly logo with the same interaction option. Interact with it and the trophy should pop. The same option for both, but if you interact with the first, more obvious logo you get locked out of the second. Apologies for the vague directions, I haven't done this since in a while, so my memory is a bit hazy. I hope this helps. If not, then I don't know how to fix your situation. Not long done Battlefield 4 and the assignments are painful to say the least!!
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Update time! Got 2 platinums this week. Finished Control and I really enjoyed the game. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the map, where it was really difficult to see where you needed to be. Other then that I enjoyed the story and gameplay. I'm curious what they'll do with DLC. I Also got the platinum in A Plague Tale: Innocence. A very storydriven game which I really enjoyed. The story was engaging and didn't overstay it's welcome. I'll continue playing Judgment from now on. I'll be moving to Miami also in the coming weeks so not sure how much gaming time I'll have. Also I don't have a television there yet, but let's see. 1. Judgment - 8% (6/47) 2. Subnautica - 0% (0/18) 3. The Messenger - 11% (8/43) 4. Shenmue II - 15% (7/28) 5. Spyro the dragon - 20% (12/37) 6. Celeste - 4% (2/31) 7. Owlboy - 28% (10/24) 8. Sekiro: Shadows die twice - 12% (8/34) 9. Control - 81% (40/47) --> 100% (47/47) platinum date 11-09-2019 10. A plague tale: Innocence - 0% (0/36) --> 100% (36/36) platinum date 16-09-2019

I have 80% of the challenges done, just need one more break and then bum rush to the end. The hardest challenges are done. Before that, I finished Enigmatis 2. Had to take a few breaks, though. I am glad that I am sticking with this account. I love Artifex Mundi titles... the first time. After that, it gets harder and harder to go through the game on mute. But at least the EZPZ games are almost dried up so I have more to focus on the longer games. I will picking up my copy of Ni no Kuni Remastered for PS4 in a few days since I pre-ordered. Might focus on that for a while. EDIT: Since nobody posted yet, I wanted to amend this post. I just got the LEGO Batman 3 Vita platinum. There was a glitch they didn't make the trophies for getting all the Joker Cards and all the Joker Smash challenges completed even though the 100% popped, so I had to redo a level to get those trophies to pop but it wasn't too annoying. Gonna take a break for a day or two before I start another game. I'm almost halfway through my list and the first month hasn't even ended yet! Popular Post neospoon
Finally an update worth mentioning. I finished my 2nd playthrough on The Last of Us which was my survivor run, which in turn unlocked all the remaining difficulty trophies I had left. I did try to find the optional conversation that I was missing, but failed to do so. I guess it doesn't really matter since I still need to do a Survivor+ run anyway and I can try again during that. I also found some new and very fast strategies to get through certain parts of the game, so now I'm kind of looking forward to dig into this final run. Aiming to finish it this weekend! The remaining DLC including 2 more runs on Grounded difficulty will have to wait. Anyway here's the stats so far The Last of Us - 32% => 48% => 50% => 59%(30/50) (PS3) Hunting Simulator - 1% => 37% => 74% (25/31) (PS4) Silent Hill 2 - 0% (0/28) (ps3) Fallout 3 - 2% (3/73) (PS3) Metro: Last Light - 4% (4/71)(PS3) God of War Ascension - 4% (3/36) (PS3) God of War - 0% (0/37) (PS4) Plague Inc. Evolved - 0% (0/55) (PS4) Until Dawn - 14% (4/19) (PS4) Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 15% (23/100) (PS4) Rocksmith 2014 - 22% (15/48) (PS4) Happy hunting GLHF!
