StilRh
Midweek update: Been playing a wide range of games rather than focusing on any one title. Made good headway with Man of Medan but some collectables are not unlocking which is frustrating. Decided on my next 10 games for the challenge - some shorter titles I've scooped up on sale and have been waiting to play included here as well as AI Files and Code Vein which I have been looking forward to for a long time. 2064 Read only memories 0% Age of Wonders: Planetfall 20% Amnesia 1% > 7% Catherine Full Body 10% Control 100% Dark souls 2: scholar of the first sin 31% Greedfall 41% > 47% Legend of Heroes: trails of cold steel 15% Phoenix Wright: Ace attourney Trilogy 11% > 15% Project diva x 32% Resonance of fate 21% Robinson: The Journey 10% Shantae and the pirates curse 25% > 30% Space hulk deathwing 40% The man of midan 1% > 46% The Silver Case 14% Thronebreaker 4% Utawarerumono: Mask of truth 35% Criminal girls 1% >4% Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc 100% Muv Luv 26% Persona 4 golden 27% Project diva f 2nd 15% Seran Kagura Bon Appetit! 34% > 39% Tokyo xanadu 20% ===NEW ADDITIONS== A Plague Tale: Innocence 0% AI: The Somnium Files 0% Another world 0% Cat quest 0% Code Vein 0% Liar princess and the blind prince 0% Reverie 0% River City Girls 0% Skyfish 0% Star Ocean IAF 10%

Still not got Short Sights skill yet which is the one most people comment about, but hopefully RNG will favor me soon Final Fantasy VIII has been on hold in favor of this
Popular Post AuroraHistoire
Spoiler Free Section I was out of trophy hunting commission for two days atter finishing Fallout New Vegas. I spent the first day writing my Fallout New Vegas update. I kept myself up past my bedtime to finish writing it. The second day I had a terrible headache because of my terrible choice to stay up to write that update. I was able to earn 3 trophies but it was painful. 2 of the three trophies required almost zero effort. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim I played a bit of Skyrim because my headache wasn't too bad at that point. I did a few quests for the Dark Brotherhood and tried to blitz my way through the Mage's College quest line. I earn 1 trophy. Nekopara Vol.1 Not on my list but I thought you would be interested to known where the other trophies came from. No? Well too bad, I'm telling you anyway. I got a trophy for starting the game in English and another for starting the game in Chinese. Mass Effect 2 After I recovered, I started playing this epic of the last console generation. This is the part were I brag about currently having the 5th fastest 100% time on PSNP. My time was 2 days,1 hour and 1 minute. The list wasn't too difficult for me but a few trophies were a bit annoying. Mass Effect 3 I got the trophies I could do in multiplayer before the start of this event; just in case EA decided to shutdown the multiplayer. After getting the Mass Effect 2 100%, I started the single player. Mass Effect 2 - Full Story I hid the full story of my Mass Effect 2 in the first spoiler tag. I don't want to spoil such a good game for anyone who hasn't had the chance to play it yet. Spoiler Mass Effect 2 starts off soon after Mass Effect. Aurora Shepard is patrolling space when her ship is badly damaged by an unknown enemy. Everyone important escapes in the escape pods immediately but Joker is very adamant about going down with the ship. Aurora drags his butt into an escape pod but she gets shot off the ship by a gaint laser and suffocates in space. Aurora spends 2 years being dead before she brought from death by Cerberus. They did a bunch of very evil science experiments in the past but they're the good guys now. After waking up, escaping a space station with killer robots and completing a quick quest, the Illusive Man (Cerberus leader) gives you a new ship, a list of new crew members to recruit and a mission to kill space bugs that keep abducting humans. Most of your old team didn't stick around after your ship blew up. Joker and a few minor characters came back but your missing your party members. Garrus, Tali, Kaiden, Liara and Wrex have all moved on and are living their own lives now. Fortunately, Cerberus fortunately didn't decide to bring Ashley back to life. Your team starts with Jacob and smelly Miranda (her perfect genes probably make it impossible for her to smell bad). I want to replace them with new, better team members as soon as possible. I decide to recruit Kasumi first and do her loyalty quest because... I honestly don't know why. We break into some rich guys house to steal her dead boyfriends computer hard drive, kill a lot of hired guns and kill the rich guy so Kasumi is able to watch her "home movies" again. I can't upgrade my stuff until Mordin is on my team. I go vist his clinic on the lovely space station of Omega during a plague. Mordin asks me to distribute the plague cure before he'll join my team because that's how life works. I do it. Later, Mordin asks me to save his former student from some Krogans who are forcing him to cure the genophage. We save him but he was doing horrific experiments because he thought it was right. We kill him and take his data so we get full credit for curing the genophage in Mass Effect 3. Cerberus paid Zaeed a dump truck full of money to join our team. A guy shot him in the head 20 years ago and he wants revenge for that. I can relate, so we blow up a oil refinery and kill many 'innocent' people in the process to make sure Vito dies. We try to recruit a Krogan Warlord but that plan fails. We do get a genetically perefect Krogan instead of that guy. Grunt tries to kill/eat me but we kill a thresher maw together and become best friends. Jack was on the recruitment list but was in prison. We decide to legally buy her from the prison but they trap me inside instead. I brought my guns, so I shoot my way out and drag Jack onto my ship myself. I let nuke an old Cerberus facility that ruined her life to gain her loyalty and unlock the outfit where she wears an actual shirt. Next I recruited Archangel but this mission was very difficult. He upset every gang in Omega so much, that they set aside their differences to try and kill him. My team infiltrates his location by pretending to part of the gangs trying to killing. We arrive at Archangel's location to find Garrus is actually Archangel. We fight about 100 members of various Omega gangs so we don't die. Garrus got shot at the end of the fight and was probably going to die. I was going to quit trophy hunting if Garrus died. Fortunately, he was okay after some major surgery. The Collecters harvest most of the humans on Horizon but I shoot a bunch of them and save a few. Kaiden was there and we was upset that I was part of Cerberus. He apologizes about in the mean things he said in a E-mail later, that I didn't read. I explore a supposedly abandoned Collector ship and learn how to use a sniper rifle. The ship turned out to be a trap, I got to try out my new nuke launcher and escaped before anything bad happened. I saved Tali from some Geth. She was getting tried for war crimes and someone had the great idea of letting me defend her. I just scream at the admiralty board and leave. I shoot up the office of an Asari that had me kill her sister in Mass Effect 1 for money. Thane shows up and kills her. I tell Thane that we're going on a mission and we are probably going to die. He wants to join us because he's dying of Drell Cancer. I also help him talk to his son. Samara is next. I help her track down her daughter that she wants dead. I betray Samara at the last moment and kill her. Morinth replaces her on my team but pretends to be Samara, so nobody asks questions. I do a boring main-plot mission to gather a important device. There is a friendly Geth in that mission but Friendly Geth gets hurts so we bring them back with us. Friendly Geth is called Legion. I help Legion forcefully convert some heretics to the correct way of thinking. While myself and my party was helping Legion, my ship was attacked by collectors. Joker survived but everyone I don't care about was taken. I go after the Collecter base because I want my gold trophies. After a bunch of cinematics and passing the upgrade checks, everyone arrives at the Collecter base alive. Jacob really wanted to roast alive in the tube but I send Tali inside instead. Jacob was sad, so I let him lead the other fireteam. I help Tati get through the really hot tube but she is very impatient. She complains every 5 seconds that she is hot and going to die. I would have gone faster but I was getting shot at. After getting Tali through, we find and save the crew. I had enough of Tali's behavior, so I send her back with them. I have Jack form the biotic field that protects us from bugs and Garrus got to lead the second fireteam. Everything goes well. I take Kasumi and Morinth to fight the final boss with me. Everyone else holds the line to keep the Collecters busy. I fight my was past a lot of Collecters and ruin the reaper they were building. The reaper tries to gets revenge but I brought my nuke launcher. I line up my shot and miss. I settle for shooting it with my other guns and that plan works. While I wasn't looking, the reaper dies. Aurora Shepard barely escapes and everyone makes it out alive. Later that week, I help Liara become the Shadow Broker, save David from the torture his brother was preforming and pilot an astroid in a Mass Relay, killing 300,000 Batarians. Aurora Shepard was arrested for that last one. My updated full list is in this spoiler tag. Spoiler Aurora's Autum/Winter Backlog MK3 Games without a % are unplayed. Purple games are 100% complete. Good job on the quick completion time! Think it may be best if I start with the original ME and hope I can get into it. I’ve already bought the trilogy a while back. Now that I think of it, I had the same issue with Bayonetta, which is also on your list. I ended up really enjoying my time with it in the end when I did finally commit to it.

The biggest plus for me personally is that there isn't a 'get rank one in all badass challenges' type of trophy. It's mainly exploration, side quest and main story progress related. There are a few combat related trophies. But all doable. The game itself is huge, the people with the plat have more than likely been playing nonstop. I'm clocking in at about 50 hours - My playthrough included all points of interest, hammerlock hunts, Zer0 bounties and side missions which i did as i progressed to minimize backtracking. I still have the Circle of Slaughter and Proving Grounds to do for their trophies as well as the side missions trophy which they count towards. There are some glitched trophies though by the looks of it, that or they aren't communicated properly. The trophy to read all Eridian slabs bugged out on me - i read them all but it never popped. Apparently the trophies around discovering named locations are also a bit unpredictable, though i dont know if they are actually bugged or just obscure points of interest that dont show as undiscovered places on the map.

Hm, That's not bad, I would expect my playtime to be around the same. I get very sidetracked and tend to do all side things before progressing further. I've seen a bunch of posts and articles about some bugs and glitches, I might wait a tiny bit before I jump into it, let them push out a quick update first. My backlog challenge is pretty sure so I'm in no rush lol

My plan was to have Call of Cthulhu finished by Wednesday. That didn't happen. I locked myself out of a trophy by failing a strength test, which I thought I would just be able to start a new game and play up to that point and get the trophy along with the Plat. Discovered near the end of the game that by failing the strength test I, which didn't open the underground passage, I also locked me out of 3 other trophies. Now I have to play through the whole game again. I enjoyed the game, but, I was hoping to have it finished already. I will get it eventually. At least now I can skip cut scenes and skip through dialog since I now know the story. Took a break from Call of Cthulhu and played Hunting Simulator. It's not a horrible game but there are certainly better ones out there. I managed to get a few trophies in it. I think the most fun I have had in it is hunting ducks and geese. The most annoying part is Snow Rabbits since they like to hide in white flowers. You don't notice them until your pretty much stepping on them. Grey wolves aren't much better. Happy hunting everybody. Edited September 19, 2019 by MadMardigan_88

Should also help the fact that I played Call of Juarez religiously on PC before Ray is still a badass gunslinger and as long as you don't go rooty tooty shooty like in a DOOM game , the challenge is decent. The only cheap stuff are the dynamite tossing assholes that are random and can 1shot you . With a bit of luck I will get the platinum today after work. It will be fun to pop 5 trophies at the same time ! After this beautiful game, mr 'Pool is next.

The game is quite fun, I just thought my time gaming would be a bit more relaxed. Jumping into the game like this having to figure out the most efficient way in an already confusing system with limited time is not ideal. Thankfully the community here is very helpful and I do love learning (and maybe mastering) these kind of things.

EPICRAGE
SECOND UPDATE: I said I was going to update every two weeks but I need to make some changes to my list so I figured I would throw out another update. I didn't realize I never bought Pineview Drive when it was on sale so I'm going to use one of my three swaps and change it with Asemblance. I'm also going to make it EVEN HARDER on myself and add three more games to max it out at 50/50 games completed. Since my last update I completed 5 more games, making it 11/50, but I'm also down one because Blood & Truth just HAD to come out with some DLC right after I finished it. I'll get back to it after all the horror games. 1. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission - 2. Vacation Simulator - 3. Just in Time Inc. - 4. Blood & Truth - (95% thanks to DLC) 5. Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted - 6. Intruders: Hide and Seek - 7. The Exorcist Legion VR - 100% 8. Transference - 100% 9. Wraith - 100% 10. AFFECTED: The Manor - 100% 11. Dead Secret - 100% 12. DEADLAND VR - (15%) - The Exorcist Legion VR was disappointing. Maybe my expectations were a little too high because of the Exorcist name. It did have some spooky locations and moments but the game had a lot of glitches (playstation errors at the end of a chapter BEFORE the trophy unlocked, objectives I clearly finished not being marked as completed, etc.) which forced me to replay each chapter several times. The story was also very disjointed. - Transference had some great graphics for VR and I always love when games use real filmed footage in the game environment. I always remember playing The Darkness and watching an hour of To Kill a Mockingbird on the TV in the game. I thought it would end but the movie just kept playing! I thought that would have been a bigger thing in games but I haven't seen it much since. This one also had a very disjointed story which was filled in if you watch the video log collectibles. Overall the art of the game made it interesting but I'm glad it was a short experience. - Wraith was a typical VR wave shooter. Getting to wave 50 seemed daunting but after about 10 minutes of getting used to the controls it wasn't that bad. There were only two enemy models coming at you so the game did get a little boring. It is the first game I used the AIM controller for so that was fun. - AFFECTED: The Manor was basically a walking simulator with no interactions. Besides the spooky atmosphere there were several jumpscares that didn't really get me and a lot of cliched horror tropes throughout. The game was maybe 20 minutes long but the trophies make you "explore" for 2 hours. I put my headset on a chair and watched American Horror Story 1984 while I waited for the trophies to pop. - Dead Secret was like a VR point and click adventure game. The mystery wasn't too interesting though; more cliched murder mystery stuff. Once I finished it I used a guide to quickly unlock the other endings for the rest of the trophies. UP NEXT: Spoiler 13. Anyways, finally got started on a BIG game, the recent Ni no Kuni for PS4. Not Ni No Kuni 2, this is the PS3 game. As of such I don't know if I will platinum the PS3 version as well as there's little point. Of course, the PS3 version has a bug that lets you duplicate consumables so you could have 99 Great Sage's Secrets and just get the Guildering the Lily trophy early. Can't do that here, you have to wait for post-game to farm Golden Tokotokos. Still, I will probably enjoy the long grind - the graphics are much smoother than the original PS3 version, and since it's at 60 FPS, things seem to move a bit faster. Since the brunt of the trophies are post-game only, I will probably just take my time going through the story and playing other games from time to time to get more platinums. I might make this my 100th platinum like I did the PS3 version in an older account. (Yes, I had an older account which hit 100 platinums.)

Man, those DLC's are a real challenge on Ultimate difficulty. Granted, I did turn it down for a couple of Screwball combat challenges in Turf Wars because I'm too shit to get them legitimately. The Sable fight at the beginning of Silver Lining was difficult, but I cheesed through it with a web bomb and the quad damage suit power. Finished off the 100% on the India Cup in Horizon. One particular race was very frustrating and I ended switching off the console, but then, almost like fate, I found a video of a friendly Japanese man harvesting Asiatic Clams, I decided to turn it back on and power through: Gods bless you Asiatic Clam harvesting guy! I've gotten back into Mass Effect, although I haven't made much progress. I've been scanning planets and landing on them to have a poke around. I did kill a thresher maw though, which was good because my previous encounters when I used to play this game ended with my arsehole torn to shreds. I plan to play more over the next week. I've taken a break from Dark Souls for now to focus on some other aforementioned games. I also got a trophy in Slayaway Camp, but it's hardly worth mentioning, so I put it here. I foresee my progress slowing a bit, as I want to play some games not associated with this list. I started playing LEGO Star Wars II on the PS2 while back with the intention of 100% it (having done the same with the first game) but put it on hold to finish up Spider-Man. I am also slowly but surely grinding out the online trophies for WWE 2K19 before the server closure, although I've managed to rope in a friend to help me deal with the more egregious trophies. AuroraHistoire
Update I got sick. Actually, I am still still sick. Trophy hunters don't get paid vacations or sick days. I am well enough to keep going but I will take the hits until I recover. Just because I can do something, doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. I should really look after my health right now so I don't die. Steredenn I am currently the 5th fastest 100% achiever in this game. My time was 58 minutes, 5 seconds. I got very lucky a was able to beat the game on my third try. Steredenn is one of those side scrolling roguelike shoot 'em up game with a bit of bullet hell. I had really good luck finding passive abilties that synergized together well. Steredenn is a really fun game but once you beat the game with only the blaster (default weapon), there is zero reason for a trophy hunter to keep playing. No platinum but you can earn 2 gold trophies. Xenon Valkyrie+ I am very bad at Xenon Valkyrie+. I feel like I'm playing the game wrong or something. Mass Effect 3 Mass Effect 3 has gone very well so far. Insanity difficulty hasn't given me much trouble so far. I'm currently debating playing the DLC on Insanity despite insanity not being required. Taking a break will hurt my fastest 100% rank a lot. Accepting not being #754 is very hard for me to let go. Maybe I'll play a game that doesn't require a lot of thinking and concentration while I recover. My event list doesn't have many viable options. I'll think of something.
Popular Post Fnee2000
Update... After spending the past week in the lands along the border, it is finally time for an update. Platinum has been achieved for Borderlands 3. It was a fun ride and well worth playing. While the changes made don't seem to be profound, on the surface, they made the game run and play much smoother. The game plays a hell of a lot faster than previous BL games. The story.... it was, ok. A lot of the humor kind of fell flat, but there were some good moments too. The bad guys obviously couldn't hold a candle to the bad guy powerhouse that was Handsome Jack from BL2. The trophy list is quite possibly the easiest to platinum out of any Borderlands game. Nothing too challenging. Biggest challenge were the three Circle of Slaughter. There is still a lot to do in BL3, but with the plat out of the way, I can get some other games in before The Outer Worlds releases in about a month. I will of course return to BL3 to get loot and do the events, as well as the DLC's that will be releasing. I also need to give a great big huge shout out to @JayDeLosDioses who was my hunting buddy throughout the entire game. Thank you for putting up with my odd hours and multiple needs to vanish for hours to do real life work! From beginning to end we saw our way from Pandora to Spoiler the great vault.
