Seems like I've been posting updates every time I finish two games, so I guess I'll keep it going. Finished Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight which wraps up all the persona rhythm games on PS4 for me and I really enjoyed 3 (finished before the challenge) and 5. 4 was more of a visual novel with the rhythm aspect thrown throughout the story, but still had a free dance option at least. I'm not a huge fan of VN's so I can't say I enjoyed 4 nearly as much as the other two. I finished The Legend of Korra as well, which I found out got de-listed a while back so good thing I bought it when I did. I'm adding several new additions below, nearly all of which were already installed on my console so it'll be good to finish them and clear up some space.

Another plat for me, this time Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Which puts the counter below 3700 unearned trophies and a completion rate of 70%.

 

Ghost Recon Wildlands 14% -> 71%  (100% Base Game)

 

But Nomad and her team of Ghosts aren't finished yet.

There's still a road to travel, and a crash landing in the jungle to survive.

Luckily for me (and not so lucky for my wallet) both DLCs are on sale currently, so I picked them up and can just continue now.

I started it on the PS3 but literally did about half hour or so I think so pretty much a new game.

 

Quick update, made a start on DLC for Watch Dogs so a few additional ones there. Also knocked out a couple of veteran missions on MW as well last night as I need plats on both of these to make Far Cry 5 #150!!

Went ahead and knocked out another platinum by finishing up Murdered: Soul Suspect.  Got that one on sale recently and it was actually pretty good.  I can see why people had objections since there were definitely some bugs and there are a ton of collectables, but with a solid guide it's easy enough to get them all and the bugs didn't detract from my ability to finish the game and instead just gave funny moments like my character floating in midair.  I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to people who like adventure games or a good detective story.

Quick update this time, knocked out Ratchet and Clank 2 as well!

 

This was definitely my most favourite ratchet game out of the trilogy back as a kid and even with the future series and the recent PS4 remake taken into account, I feel like this still has to be the best one for me. It just improved and added so much stuff compared to the first game and it basically set the stage for all the other games of the series to come. The OST is really great as well and has some tracks that I actually still use to listen to as study music to this day and let's not forget about the amazing humour that the original trilogy had before becoming a bit too flat and generic for my liking in the later titles. Last time a videogame made me genuinely laugh was back when I heard Ellie say "By the looks of it you could lose some of that food" for the first time a few years ago.

 

Being able to replay these games after all this time (my PS2 died like 10 years ago) is proving to be a great trip through nostalgia lane for me so far. Really loving every minute of it and actually quite sad that there is only 1 game of the trilogy left but obviously looking forward to that one as well!

I'm one trophy away from platinum'ing 2 games. For Dust: An Elysian Trail I just need to complete 4 more trails. The third one is giving me problems. Heard the 4th and 6th are the hardest. For Overcooked 2, I just need wash 300 dishes. I just need the time to practice the time trials. I had the chance last week, but wanted to work on the Overcooked 2 trophies with my sister.

After a bit more than 10h of playing Guacamelee! I finally beat Calaca ? took me longer than expected (most probably cause I suck at these kind of games). Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my time and by the end got used to the mechanics quite well. During my playthrough, I actually didn't pay special attention to any of the collectibles, therefore before starting my second run on hard, I will try to achieve 100% completion in all areas and most importantly finish all the Infierno challenges (not sure how I will be able to pull that off ?).

 

To spice up things I switched to Borderlands every now and then. Maybe its just me but at the moment the game feels like a chore to me...it seems I've hit a point of stalemate where I need to put it aside for a couple of days before being able to continue it. Unfortunately, I never really got invested in the story as well and the environments look so smiliar to each other...don't get me wrong the game has a unique appeal to it and still manages to excite me but not as much as I initially thought it would.

 

Can't really give a well thought comment on Abzû after a short 20min hands-on. However, what I saw is truly breathtaking ?

So finally completed Dark Arcana in a mad rush to get that done. Unfortunately I started TDToM instead of Engimatis 3 so I have to deal with that first. With October 1 and my 10 days of dog poop [aka house sitting for my sister and parents while they go to Germany] rearing its ugly head, I might have to recant that promise to finish up all the Mundi games by October.

 

Luckily, Engimatis 3 and TDToM are the only "quick and easy" games left on the list. Started playing Habroxia on the Vita. Tried Color Slayer, hated it, but the trophy list won't be removed from my Vita even though I deleted it on my PS4 account. It's not affecting my %, but my Vita didn't get the memo that I deleted the game off my trophy account.

 

All in all, a meh week. I just ha my tooth pulled so I'm recovering from that.

Yeah, the Vita can't delete games at all.  If it really bothers you, rebuilding the database would wipe all local trophy data, but keeps your saves intact.  Just make sure to sync before doing it so you don't lose any trophies.

Well, it doesn't seem to be on my trophy tracker on PS4 or this site so it's not too terrible. I could format the internal memory but don't know if it would help. As long as syncing trophies won't force me to delete it on my PS4 again and again, I'll be fine with having that 0% on my Vita's trophy list. I'd plat the game but I am sucky at rhythm games and the Vita version of Color Slayer is wretched with its controls and lag.

It shouldn't show up again.  I had the same issue with a game that I disliked and hadn't earned any trophies in yet and this was months ago and it has yet to show up on my PS4 again. Not sure if formatting internal memory would be enough either, but that also wipes out settings and rebuilding database doesn't wipe those (outside of any settings on the home screen like folders, background colors, etc.)

 

Could be worse though, before I owned a PS4, I had to go load up an android emulator to run the Playstation app (I don't own a cell phone) if I wanted to remove a game.  That was a lot more of a pain in the butt than doing it on the PS4.  I so don't understand why they don't add that functionality on the Vita.

Well, I finally did keep my promise to finish all of the Artifex Mundi games on the list before October. Much easier platting Enigmatis 3 this time and no game-breaking glitches.

 

I also started back on Dragon Quest XI because I've gotten the Switch version(Dragon Quest XI S Definitive Edition) and playing through the 2D Mode in that, which is really fun. It's fun comparing the 2D cutscenes with the voiced 3D cutscenes.

Hopefully Fallen Ghost is going to be a lot better.
