Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update Bound By Flame [PS3] - 66% => 100% Eat Them! Bound By Flame: Beginning of the week was light on work so I had time to knock this out. Captain (hardest) difficulty wasn't all that much different strategy wise from lower difficulties. Like I mentioned before, final boss was no trouble at all. I liked the game but the combat can be quite annoying sometimes. Fighting in small areas, getting stuck on things, your AI companion being pretty much useless and more than two enemies ganging up on you means death. Good thing the game auto-saves often and you can save manually anytime outside of combat. People have compared the combat (difficulty) to the Souls games, there's a reason I don't play those games. If you're into the Souls games however, this might be a game for you to try. Once I finished Bound By Flame I had a hard time deciding what to play next so I took a couple of days off from gaming. Then I just popped in Anthem and finally settled on Dragonball Xenoverse 2. Dragonball Xenoverse 2: Oh boy, the combos!!! I suck at fighting games because it's really hard for me to pull off combos. Just completed the Challenge/Tutorial Quests and some of them gave me a headache (literally). Most of the time it wouldn't take the move I put in or my timing was off but I managed somehow in the end. I think that was one of the hardest parts I'll face in this game. I stopped playing it for now but will continue later. Next week I'll also be on staycation. I'll have a few days off to catch up on things and hopefully put in some extra gaming time.

Popular Post MidnightDragon
I was a little bored tonight, so decided to get the Menacing trophy in Dragon Age: Origins so I didn't have to mess with that anymore. Most of this week I've been playing Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 and now I just have Stellas Dungeon left (which doesn't really need much of my attention) I felt like Sims 4 today and made a great amount of progress although that will slow down now as I got nearly all of the easier trophies out of the way, namely for reaching level 10 in each skill. I think I should be able to set up the Basket Case trophy relatively easy now with my current character, dreading the Triplets trophy although I may invest in the Pets expansion pack as I've been reading it's easier to get triplets with dogs. Still got quite a lot I can do with my current character although it will be grinding through the different career paths - got the Writer career all wrapped up and now moved onto Painter. No real set plans for the next week, just playing what grabs my mood at the time

Popular Post supercanaries
Week 3 very poor update ? work is not allowing this challenge to progress properly. I figured halfway through the week that I wasn't going to find proper time to progress Final Fantasy and Ni No Kuni, or to complete the Volta mode in Fifa, so I picked up Knack! and used the few hours I had to advance that. Also, making my way through the 60 missions on Ni No Kuni. Popular Post freddie1989
Finally a decent update for myself!! Good to see loads of other updates to read up on as well!! Finished off Modern Warfare Remastered and what a journey that is. A great chance to go back and enjoy something thatI enjoyed when I was much younger (insert crying) and on top of that just a great game all round. Managed to do Mile High Club after a few failed attempts the night before and then on to 'best fo the best' whihc is an absolute pain in the arse! Requird time is 15.1 and I started off around the 23 mark trying to work out hwo the heck I would do it but with 3 hours of perseverence I bagged a 14.9 second run! After that is was just straight forward run and gun tidy up on recruit. Also managed to finish off Overcooked with my other half. We both had a laugh with that and I think she is down fo the idea of getting the follow up! Tiny bit of progress on Far Cry 5 but nothing to shout home about but I am enjoying the setting etc so getting stuck in soon. Next o0n my agenda is going to be Detroit whihc I am also looking forward to. Puts me at 3/10 so far so doing alright! Popular Post neospoon
Wow everyone is making so much progress... I wish I had more time available to get games done. Still need to defeat the final boss on Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I hope to get round to that somewhere this week. Instead of doing that I've started on Mortal Kombat 11. Surprisingly this looks like an easy platinum for fighting game standards. Currently doing 2 fatalities with each character, which is a large chunk of the trophies. If I have enough time, I don't think the platinum and 100% should take too long to accomplish. Anyway here's the score so far Mortal Kombat 11 - 28%(20/59)(PS4) Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 15% => 88% (82/100) (PS4) God of War - 0% => 11% (8/37) (PS4) The Last of Us - 32% => 48% => 50% => 59% => 79%(39/50) (PS3) Fallout 3 - 2% (3/73) (PS3) Metro: Last Light - 4% (4/71)(PS3) God of War Ascension - 4% (3/36) (PS3) Plague Inc. Evolved - 0% (0/55) (PS4) Until Dawn - 14% (4/19) (PS4) Rocksmith 2014 - 22% (15/48) (PS4) Hunting Simulator - 100% (31/31) (PS4) Happy hunting everyone!

Popular Post Together_Comic
Update 3 Mass Effect 3 Date Started: 9/30/2018 Trophies when Event Started: 28/69 Event Starting Percentage 31% Trophies after Update 3: 31/69 Updated Percentage 35% Small Update. I didn't really get to play this as much as I wanted to this weekend with other responsibilities coming up, but what I did play was fun. This game as a whole has a lot of good story moments. That being said, the loading times are egregious and playing on insanity after not having messed with a shooter for awhile is really tough. Not to mention that some of the trophies are going to be a grind. Slowly and surely we'll chip away though. I hope to have this done by the end of the month. ~TC

Popular Post EPICRAGE
MIDDLE OF ?OCTOBER? UPDATE: Completed another six games to make it a total of 25/50 game completed. Half way there! If only I could stop playing other games (this time I also played S.O.N.) maybe I would have more of a chance of completing my goal of finishing all the horror games by the end of October. But I even plan on playing a few other games that aren't on my list; My Big Sister, Just Ignore Them, Worse Than Death, Erica, and if they go on sale The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker and The Shapeshifting Detective. I also reordered a few of them and used my last swap to change True Fear to Back in 1995. Great to see everyone making progress. I can't believe God of War has been added to PlayStation Now.. I haven't made much use of my subscription but having the ability to try out GoW will make it worthwhile I hope. Deponia - I'd say this is the best point and click I've played so far. It provided a lot of laughs (mainly Goal's incomprehensible outbursts) and actually had a pretty decent story. Rufus is your typical mischief maker, causing a mess at every turn which leads to some pretty funny moments. Some of the characters introduced were utterly ridiculous, but they fit in well with the wacky world of Deponia. I'll definitely play the sequels at some point in the future, would highly recommend if you're a fan of point 'n clicks. Metro: Last Light Redux - I got lazy and decided to utilise the glitch which makes completing the TOWER level an absolute cake-walk, leading to a hassle free platinum. Fantastic game, enjoyed it more than 2033. I'll definitely stack the PS3 version if the complete edition goes on sale for a good price. Waiting on a big discount on Exodus before I pick that up.. I'm not sure how I feel about an open-world FPS though. Will have to wait and see I guess. Transistor - Phenomenal game. Took my sweet time with it and finished it over the course of a week. I'll clean up the rest of the trophies when I 'recurse' through the game, essentially a NG+. Playing through the game with your controller speaker enabled is a must, it's really adds to the whole experience. And what an experience it was... I'll speak more about the game during my next update. Getting late here as it is. Bridge Constructor - Not much to say about this one, I've basically been following video guides right from the offset. You construct bridges, but you must do so in such a way that cars/trucks and eventually tank-trucks can pass through them without them collapsing. I can see how it would be an interesting game to some people, but it's not my forte. Basically just going through the motions until I get my platinum.. will be nice to have it off my backlog at least. Steins;Gate (PS3) - My first ever VN. On top of that it's also my first experience with anime. I've never played an anime-related game before, nor watched any anime-based television. I'm about six hours in and have just finished up chapter 1.. I must say I'm very impressed with this game. The characters are quirky and downright hilarious at times (the mad-scientists ramblings can be very comical). The story is engaging, and seems like it'll be an interesting tale about time travel. Really looking forward to experiencing the rest of what this game has to offer! Edited October 16, 2019 by GraniteSnake

It was very difficult in the beginning, even with a guide. Being sniped while gathering resources kinda sucks, especially with a time limit. At times I was battling in the dark, wasting precious time, and I would end up starting over to be a bit more efficient the 2nd time. I was able to finish at 28 days with 2 deaths and 1 accidental sleep. After doing the time challenge (finish the chapter within 30 days), I was able to relax and do the rest of challenges at my leisure.

Popular Post neospoon
Made some progress in Mortal Kombat. Pretty much all the quick trophies are done, now it's on to story mode, towers and the online part, which is really not that bad to begin with. I thought it would be a fairly quick platinum but it looks like this one is going to take a good amount of grinding through 250 towers and opening 200 treasure chests. I also finally defeated the Final Boss in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, earning the remaining difficulty trophies and the platinum (173). Dealt with a good amount of annoying glitchy controls and unthinkable camera angles along the way, I guess it was really true to the franchise on that part. The Deadly Obsession difficulty on NG+ was pretty easy and gave me no trouble at all until the final boss. Now all that's left are the Challenge Tombs (13 trophies). I tried a Time Attack Challenge Tomb yesterday and got the trophy after 2 tries. The Score Attack is what's going to slow me down probably. The next game in line I want to start is Plague Inc. Mainly because it's the only game left at 0% in my selection, and I feel it will be a game I can pick up for say 1 or 2 hours since there is no real story mode, just scenarios you need to play. And although it is a game where you will mostly see a world map and menus, it still looks interesting to me. Popular Post StilRh
Midweek update: Slow progress during my working week as the ward has been really understaffed so I've been pulling a LOT of double shifts. I did get a bit of time off the last 2 days though - swapped Diva X out for Moss, the reason for this is I read about how hard Diva X is and while I like a challenge I think very hard rhythm games mechanical demands can exceed the speed of my brain and fingers I nearly platted Moss but I made a mistake on the no death run and crushed Moss by opening a door onto her. I've dabbled some more in other listed games. RuneEyesDragon
Again empty-handed with the updates. I know this isn't a race but I haven't earned any trophies at all and I decided to restart Dragon Quest XI and follow a guide which went through all of the achievements, just to try to get things to work. Sticking outside of Gallopolis and farming Metal Slimes to get more skill points although the next part isn't combat-related. I will probably force myself to play through Ratchet and Clank to get through Rilgar and just get some trophies there.
