I enjoyed it a lot, but man this game was was starting to grate at me. 5000 kills took significantly longer than I anticipated even after going through all of the DLC and all of the Main Game and doing a lot of multiplayer still had to grind out 900+ kills it is genuinely to much imo. That being said the DLCs themselves werent bad. 3-4 hours apiece with the citadel maybe being 5. I really think that the Leviathan should have been part of the main game, if would have helped the ending quite a bit. Omega was kinda meh. Nice to learn a bit more about Aria who is a popular character for a reason. However, $10 for that DLC is way to much. Which is a theme among the DLC for this game. $30 for 15 hours is just way to much. All of that said, I guess I should stop complaining for a main game that is a solid 8/10 and very enjoyable. Here's an update on what we have left to go. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Time for an update! Control Wolfenstein Youngblood Man of Medan Yakuza 3 Remaster Borderlands 3 MediEvil Concrete Genie The Outer Worlds Yakuza 4 Remaster Death Stranding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Finally got the Youngblood platinum. 8 hours of game, 30 hours of grind. Happy to have this done and deleted off my PS4 if i'm honest. It would have been so much more enjoyable as far as platinum goes if they just significantly increased the amount of coins you earned overall for everything that provided coins as a reward. Relatively enjoyable, but nothing near to the quality of Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein 2 on all fronts.

The second chapter was the most difficult with those status ailments. The third chapter was moderately easy, and the fourth chapter was nice and short, but the enemies hit harder. There's a lot of replay value. If you liked a chapter you can stay there forever. There's also a free build mode. Overall, it was a good game, but the addition of the time challenge made the game less fun. I just wanted to build and explore. Also, I hated getting sniped in the dark by those floating ghouls.

Anyways, while charging my 3DS (which is now busted in the bottom screen for some reason ) I decided to just get more Ratchet and Clank done and am at the final part of the first run. I got all of the hoverboard race trophies and whatnot so I just have to get the RYNO and kill everything to complete the main story, then go through the challenge run to get Death by Disco and upgrade all of the weapons to Level 10. Might work some more on Yooka-Laylee and get started on Castlevania Requiem for my Halloween gaming time.

It turns out holding myself to the idea of finishing 5 games before the months end was a bad idea. Even without the fact that a slept very poorly for a few days in a row, it would require that I frame my life around video games for the two weeks, which would simply make me miserable. I like smiles and ice-cream. I've managed to finish off Slayaway Camp. The grind to get 666 kills and get enough coins for the last gorepacks and killers wasn't too bad, the only problem being the game doesn't keep track of kills and so I had no way to gauge how close I was to my goal. Getting a score of 25 in Faces of Killed 3 gave me more trouble than it should have. Apparently pressing when told to is too much for me. I've begun my first playthrough of Call of Cthulhu, getting up to Chapter 5. Its still a fun game despite its flaws. My issue is the lack of consistent information in regards to getting specific endings. One website will say x while the other will say x and y eg. It's not really a problem for me yet, but we'll see how it goes. If I can get motivated to play it then I should have my first playthrough done by the end of the month. I've continued with Cat Quest. Not much to report of that front other than I'm really enjoying myself. It's a dumb game, but it knows it. I'm getting a lot of enjoyment out of the combat, as the control layout is easy to get a hang of. I've decided to swap Goosebumps for Knights of Pen and Paper, as I couldn't muster the energy to care about playing the former. Knights is a game played a bit previously and I'm really enjoying playing again. If I can't find friends to play DnD with in real life than this is the best alternative. I also tried to play a bit of Shanky, but my brain hemorrhaged out my eyes before I could get too far. Not exactly a riveting update this week, but an update nonetheless. Keep the updates coming folks, and have fun!
Popular Post Fnee2000
Update... Been 3 weeks since my last confession, er I mean update. I have been lazy in completing my list as I got sidetracked on another personal idea. I also made the odd decision, unknown to me, to start playing Assassin's Creed RPG Odyssey. I have swapped that game in to my list in place of LEGO The Hobbit. Makes 3 swaps for me. I have decided to put The Outer Worlds on hold for now because of the silly difficulty trophies. I do not like when I have to micromanage my gameplay with trivial things such as eating, drinking, and sleeping. That goes for in game and out ? Played the opening section so far and it definitely seems like something I'm going to enjoy playing. Despite the lack of focus and time, I did eventually manage to complete a game of my list as well though: Horizon Chase Turbo Some mixed feelings about this title. The game itself can be a lot of fun but going for the platinum however...not so much. I did really love this game initially with it's nice oldschool controls and mechanics, its beautiful art style and an overall very enjoyable soundtrack to spice things up. The problem is just that it doesn't really add anything new over the course of the game which can and will make things become real boring real fast. Other than maybe the different backgrounds for the different world locations, nothing really changes, soundtracks are reused so much to the point where I just turned the volume off and started listening to my own music instead, challenge is basically non-existent since the game kinda just let's you win almost all of the time which completely kills all tension and immersion, ... well, you get the idea I suppose. The fact that I literally fell asleep twice while playing this game says it all really. If I just had to complete the world tour with 100% for the platinum, this wouldn't have been so much of an issue but having to do all of the tournaments and the endurance modes as well, which again didn't actually add anything at all to the game, was needless to say just such a drag to go through. You need to finish a total minimum of 362 races to get the platinum which isn't even including the retries you'll most likely need for the super trophy on each track and/or the frustrating tournaments. That's just a bit too much for a game with such repetitive gameplay imo but oh well, maybe I'm just really being a bit too harsh here. It's not a bad game by any means but the platinum requirements did kinda remove all of the fun I had with this title. I'm not the biggest fan of racing games in general though so that's definitely not helping of course. Just kinda glad it's over now. Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time To end up on a lighter and more positve note: I absolutely love this game! It's lacking a bit in terms of humour and charm compared to the original trilogy but gameplaywise it is definitely a huge step forwards. Especially enjoying the space sections so far since they really make you feel like you're actually travelling across the galaxy instead of just hopping around from one planet to the next. Well that and because pirate radio is probably the best addition they ever made to this series. Think I'm somewhere halfway through the story atm so not that much progress so far but I'm trying to complete as much as I can along the way in terms of gold bolts, zoni and side missions. Also picked up the trophy for the "my blaster runs hot" minigame which was just way too frustrating to be part of a ratchet and clank game Took me a couple of hours at least. Rest of the trophies shouldn't be that much of a problem hopefully. Looking forward to it! Despite not being very active myself, it's been fun reading everyone's updates so far! HD version looks super nice and runs smoothly which is great. But the Clockwerk made me re-live all the stress this game. Games back then really were much harder than they are nowadays. But overall i can say i enjoyed it. As i said in previous update its an easy game, but after awhile it kinda gets dull and repetitive doing same things over and over again. Eventide 2 & 3 - Not much to say about these games. Two really easy HO/point-and-click games. Uncharted 4 - Didn't do much, just finished another survival map on normal/hard.
Popular Post StilRh
Weekend update: Completed The Silver Case, my god it was very painful. I loved some of the ideas and the ambition of the game but I didn't enjoy playing it due to the archaic gameplay systems and the storyline in general. I saw glimmers of what other players liked about it but it just wasn't for me. I did some work on Space Hulk and Ace Attorney, otherwise off list games with my children. The plan for the next week is to continue chipping away at games and when I get Atelier Ryza, add that to my list and try to complete it on my days off. For this challenge I have been very good at resisting the urge to buy even more games but I saw the latest Metro game for £15 brand new so I might dabble in that for the challenge. I plan to get Civ 6 in November... there may not be many spaces left on the list by the new year!! They messed up the collectibles with one of the patches which is all I need left. My advice to anyone wanting to get this game is just skip it. Gunplay is fun but it falls flat on so many other things, constantly disconnecting, blue screens, lack of content, etc. Anyway this will be my last post about the game till they hopefully fix it and I can finally finish it up. DBX2: I'm just having fun with the game not really focusing on trophies much. RNG still hates me as far as learning skills go and Krillin's not giving me milk delivery missions either. I don't think I'll get much gaming done next week, I'll be pretty busy with work and going to US F1 GP on the weekend, but I'll still try to squeeze in some DBX2. PS: I picked up Skylanders Swap Force and a bunch of figs on the cheap, some of the figs will come in handy when I play Giants.
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
I've been sick for the past 2 weeks and haven't played a lot during this time. But I made some progress in Witcher 3: Got all the Gwent Cards available from the base game (Card Collector trophy) Done all of the other Gwent things (All In, Gwent Master and Killed It trophies) Finished all the fist fights (Brawler and Brawl Master trophies) Finished all the races (Fast and Furious trophy) Discovered 100 Fast Travel points and cleared out monster nests while doing so (Globetrotter and Fire in the Hole trophies) I wanna finish the plat in one go on Death March! difficulty (exept the "Kill X amount of enemies with ... trophies) so I made some higher level oils and potions for the contracts I have left, but it's not represented by any trophy. It looks like I did quite a lot but I was close to every trophy exept the Card Collector, but even the card collection is easy if you have a list where the random people you have to play are
neospoon
On 26-10-2019 at 1:24 AM, Zach said: Of course Last of Us guide here didn't mention all collectible trophies are glitched. Just had the Ellie's jokes trophy glitch on me. Going to take a break from the game for awhile. I'll play some Modern Warfare and maybe AC3 Remastered. Please do tell what kind of glitch? I have never in all my playthroughs had any glitches with Ellie's jokes. Ran into some issues with optional conversations once, but that was more my own fault for not paying attention. Maybe I can help out getting you through it? Also no updates from my side, lack of motivation is my main reason, and I keep playing games that are not on my list. I'm looking at you Killzone Mercenary with your 10000 Kill trophy and 1000 headshot trophy... Edited October 28, 2019 by neospoon

Although, I am positive I will unlock the platinum in one hour, so taken away the much time I dedicate to that game every single day, I guess more will be left to boost this challenge! Popular Post Copanele
Beginning-of-week update : 1. Devil May Cry (PS3) - 100% 2. Devil May Cry 3 (PS3) - 100% 3. Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast (PS4) - 0% I started working on the "anime" part of my backlog : One piece pirate warriors 2 and J-Stars Victory VS+. All I can say is... god have mercy on my soul are these games BORING. I honestly do not understand anything in One Piece. I will mention that I am a fan of the manga ( Up to date with the chapters, so I have a general knowledge of the One Piece lore) HOWEVER jesus christ what's with this game? I just gave up understanding what's going on( when I bought the game I did not expect it to be a musou game, my fault for not reading descriptions). I abandoned any chance of understanding the plot and combos, I just spam square with Luffy and call Nami for support from time to time. I checked the trophy list...there's some coins involved, S ranks, very hard difficulty...what?Whatever ,square for days! Game sounds more complicated than it should be, but the guide mentions it to be a 3/10 difficulty so I doubt I will have any headaches with it, it's just very very long game. Definetly not gonna enjoy doing this. J-Stars is abit more decent. I experience less boredom with it but it's still not really fun. At least I can pick my manly men Kenshiro and Jonathan Joestar for most of the stuff, seems this is another abnormal easy plat, hardest part is staying awake while actually playing it. Definetly convinced me to not touch Jump Force ever in my life. I guess I will focus on these to quickly get rid of them asap. I see now why they were in my backlog they put me to sleep.
Popular Post freddie1989
Quick update from me. Finished up Far Cry 5 campaign which was excellent but the % isn't rising quickly due to the amount of trophies in the game itself. Hopefully the clean up is straightforward and the DLC. I will try and use the co-op method for NG+ purely out of lack of time. I can't be bothered with another playthrough for 1 trophy when I have so many other things to play. Also started Detroit which is really intriguing so far and looking forward to seeing how the story progresses on that one. I gather it is purely a good then evil playthrough process and then tidy up but I haven't looked at a guide yet as I want to enjoy it blind first.
