I think I had a glitch or a big issue with Warrior Within so that one bugged me the most.

Steadily progressing through J-Stars Victory VS+. It isn't that bad, abit grindy, slowly getting used to it(and finishing fights as fast as possible of course). A bit lame but manageable. Backlog event is taking a hit at my side because Last of Us really caught me back, really in mood to play that one instead.

Honestly considering to make a swap for that One Piece game at one point though... that game is so garbage I really wish to throw the disc into the sun. Eh I'll hold onto it for now, will decide if I wish to get rid of it or not.

Finished up my nightmare run in Ao no Kiseki and also finished up the quickie run for the secret boss and got the plat.  I'm on chapter 2 of my NG+ nightmare run in CS3.  Also adding SwapQuest to my list since I need something to play on Vita.

 

Also added Wizards of Brandel since that is next month's Kemco release and I have been buying those each month at release.  I did get Asdivine Kamura, but since that one is PS4 only, I'm waiting until I finish CS3 to start that.\which was why I added SwapQuest since I'll always be playing something on Vita and that looked like an easy one to knock out.  I definitely wasn't kidding when I said I'd be adding games and just wasn't sure what I'd be playing especially because I don't know what may go on sale or release before this is over.

Darksiders II aka Post-Apocalyptic Zelda II: Let's Water Zelda Down. I beat the game last night and it was a slog to get through. Honestly, I wasn't sure why I wasn't enjoying it for the longest time. It has pretty much everything the first did and I had a blast when I played that a few months ago. It wasn't until 3/4 through the game that I figured it out. Compared to the layout of the last game, the layout is very bland. The first game had a very apocalyptic feeling to the whole game where you could look at a dungeon and tell that it was a subway or a mansion before the rapture happened. This time around, we have a lot of castles and a lot of underground dungeons that all look and feel the same. It also didn't help that I found a way to brake the game by abusing the skill "Health Steal" which made it almost impossible to get below half health. Just cast the ghoul spells and mash the attack buttons and even the hardest bonus boss will go down in a few minutes. I'm pretty sure I was suppose to switch out equipment more, but I was halfway through my Deathinitive playthrough before I replaced all of my equipment that I got mid game last playthrough. And to top it all off, the game is hella glitchy. The game has crashed on me, pushed me through walls, killed me when my health was a quarter filled, and the Reaper gage has glitched out more times then I can count to the point that I never used it because it would almost never fill.

 

I end my rant by saying I'm more disapointed then anything. I was so looking forward to playing this game, seeing how much it improved on the first by adding RPG elements, and then going on to play the thrid game. However, I'm almost afraid that the next game is going to be more of the same, and I'm not sure if I can handle that any time soon. Oh well. Only half a Deathinitive playthrough and the Crucible left and then I can move on to something else. Maybe Plants vs Zombies.

Don't forget - the vita also has remote play with the PS4. Just need wifi. I use it all the time. You can pretty much play anything that doesn't need L2/R2 buttons, and even then sometimes you can use the rear touch screen for them or map them to something else.

Fair. But then again that would be me forking out cash for something I can already do without the Vita. If I do wind up getting a Vita it'll be because of exclusive games, otherwise I just couldn't justify the expense.

I keep whacking stuff in J-Stars, I should have the plat in the bag next week. Dragon's Dogma will be perfect as a replacement, especially since I am not required to go through Dark Arisen DLC (did that on PS4, not a fan of it truth be told).

 

On the other hand...more work from my part. It will be an interesting end of year

We are still slowly chipping away at this game with only the gold grinds to do.  Currently we have

Also worth noting that we have the Bang Vox trophy remaining which is an item you unlock when you hit Level 99 so nothing additional there. 

 

The majority of the remaining DJs and most of the remaining Key Sounds are left to unlock in world tour mode. The missions for that have started to get extremely difficult though.  Things like score 90% JUD (90% of the max score) but the notes only appear at the last second or you don't get an indication of when you are supposed to press the notes or the notes flicker, all while playing some of the toughest songs in the game anyway.  Those two trophies are going to block the platinum for quite awhile I can already tell.  Everything else is just going to take time.  

 

Also as an update, I am going ahead and using one of my 5 swaps to change Final Fantasy VIII --> Final Fantasy XV.  Having recently found the work around to getting the Comrades DLC done after its removal and having successfully installed the older patch, I want to go ahead and get this out of the way but I don't think that I want to commit to also doing Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy XV (not to mention Kingdom Come: Deliverance) before February.  I feel like I'd have to rush, so we are going to save that for the spring backlog instead.

Reason: No motivation at all. Tried to get something done in all of them, but don't enjoy playing them at all currently, or anytime soon for that matter.

I have dropped the ball on these updates, but I guess better late than never.  I'm finally done I think for a minute with Horizon (those time trials suck.  Not hard just, idk, they really constrict how you play and the game isn't really like that anywhere else so it feels a bit out of place).  Think I'm gonna switch to something a bit shorter, probably Little Nightmares or Seasons after Fall.

Speaking of Seasons After Fall, I'm also going to use a swap cause I just can't with these two games.  They're just so boring.  Detailed it below.

Persona 4 Golden. That's the only game you need. I could not put it down until I got the platinum. I was very skeptical at first, but if you like a good story I totally recommend (like everyone else would lol)

I've never been terribly fond of anime, but I've heard a lot of positive talk about the Persona series. I might look into it. Cheers.

Just thought I would do a quick update as I now have the plat on Far Cry 5 which is my #150!! Love the series and can't wait to pick up New Dawn. The hunting elements in the game were a pain in the arse as I spent about 3 hours looking for about 6 animals! Beyond that all straightforward.

 

Also unwrapped Mortal Kombat X last night as well. Me and my mate had messed about on his copy a while back so I got the XL version myself to crack on with. Just spent 30 minutes trying to work out how the hell I unlock the options to actually play the game (bloody tutorials).

 

Hopefully finish up Detroit over the weekend and make some more MK progress. May also start something new as well but I do have like 4 on the go right now so might think twice.

Yep.  Basically when you get that huge ass  INVASION message (trust me it is impossible to miss, it will rock your TV out ) and you can access the invasion tower in Factions menu...then you can play invasion  . No tutorial required,just be sure you are part of a faction (kinda impossible to miss also, I doubt you can play without it)

Finally found my list. Sheesh, it has been a long time!

 

Anyways, I swapped Kingdom Hearts III for Disgaea 5. It was 24% when I started so it was under the 30% when I put it on.

 

Not anymore. I managed to finish the main story and unlocked the Carnage Dimension, completing all of the Item World trophies. (In fact, Unlosing Ranger Status was the trophy that pushed me to Level 25 on my trophy rank. ) I'm going to keep at the game until I get the platinum. I had help from this Youtube called Green Z-Saber who loves to speed-run Disgaea 5. I decided on this game as it was easy to get into and Disgaea 4 Complete+ is coming out.

The Outer Worlds

 

I really loved The Outer Worlds, it had all the familiarity of a really good Fallout experience, but was different enough to feel fresh and new. Rarely for a game of this type, I experienced no bugs whatsoever in the entire 2 and a half play-throughs I went through with it. If they ever make story DLC for this, i'm definitely going to come back to this.

 

I loved the companions and their stories and for once in many moons they were actually quite effective in combat, even on Supernova difficulty at a certain point and with the right points spent in leadership skills. This was just a great RPG experience and I really hope it makes enough money to greenlight more content and maybe even a sequel.

 

Also, if you like videogame music, just letting the menu music play for a while to hear the full game theme is well worth it, it's a really nice piece of music and reminds me of all kinds of sci-fi tunes from Star Trek, to Stargate and so on. The game has tonnes of sci-fi movie and TV references too.

 

Now onto Death Stranding which I'm so hyped to play! Happy weekend everyone!
