I'm somewhat coming to terms with not finishing this challenge (again) unless something drastic changes, but I'll continue to work on it and do what I can. I'm just doing my best to make some progress, but at least I've used this as motivation to make a dent in some games and crack open some new ones, so I hope this challenge will at least show me where I need to pick up my slack and focus, and also to create a backlog list to tackle that is much more fun so it seems like less of a chore compared to all the other crap I got going on. Popular Post Fanatixa1
Update! Its been a while since I’ve posted an update. I haven’t been gaming much until I bought my tv the beginning of November. I got the Platinum trophy in Donut Country, but other then that haven’t really been able to stick with one game. I’m switching Rathet & Clank to Dragon Quest 11. Couldn’t get into it as it’s son lucky to play. Dragon quest 11 on the other hand I really enjoy. It’s very chill and no need to think a whole lot on strategy for getting the platinum which I really like. Ive finished the story in Judgment. I enjoyed it but will pause the game for now. Will pick it back up later for the 100% and legend play through. Right now I’m going for the platinum in the Messenger. I enjoy the game a lot, especially the humor is really good. I’ve been laughing out loud a couple of times. I should be able to finish the game this or next week. Other then the messenger will continue Dragon Quest and I want to start Death Stranding. The game has me intrigued and I couldn’t resist buying it. Really hope I like it. Popular Post viech54
Time for the first update after Iceborne: Monster Hunter World: Iceborne: 0% -> 71% -> 82% => 100%, on November 10th, 2019, Trophy list Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: 0% => 8% => 31%, Trophy list Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana: 0%, Trophy list Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below: 0%, Trophy list Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy: 4%, Trophy list Games completed: 1/5 Time spent on this event: ~ 460 hours in MHW Iceborne, ~ 14 hours in Bloodstained Swaps used: 0/5 Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: Cleared the game with the first bad ending and unlocked the extra menu. This game plays a lot like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, if you're into that kind of gameplay, this is a game you should consider. The story is interesting so far & the customization offers many possible strategies to beat the enemies. Can't complain so far. I'm in the mood to play a Final Fantasy game. Chances are I'll use one of my swaps for Final Fantasy VIII and play that after Bloodstained. That, or I'll choose Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered in January 2020. Or both. Also added some more stats to my list, namely the number of completed games, time spent on this event, and swaps used. Popular Post StilRh
End of week update: Finished my nights and have a delicious week off due to having worked well over my contracted hours. Looking forward to the Black Friday sales, I'm hoping for some Vita/PS3 games for a change. Bridge Constructor - Completed this shortly after my last update. The unpredictable physics were all too apparent while completing the 24 'tiltin' bridges. Some of the designs were very specific and even then a handful of the bridges collapsed at the end of the run. I mostly used to guides over on Steam, but it was quite annoying to build a bridge only to find out it wouldn't work on the PS4 version for whatever reason. Would only recommend this if you're creative and have a genuine interest in building bridges. Otherwise you'll spend most of the time following a guide/multiple guides like I did. Transistor - Fantastic game. I completed my recursion and cleaned up all of the remaining trophies along the way. NG+ didn't really add much to the game, and I just ended up using the 'ultimate' function throughout almost my entire play-though (Tap with Void + Purge as upgrades). This made every encounter trivial at best, even with 10 limiters in play. It also helped a ton with the performance tests, making them both quick and stress free. The majority of the tests were quite easy - I needed to resort to a guide for a few though (the first agency test and the last couple of planning tests). Overall it was an easy platinum to obtain and a game that caused me very little trouble throughout. I only very briefly spoke about my original play through. I was a big fan of Transistor's lack of guidance on almost every aspect of the game. From the offset you're in a world in which you have very limited information as to why you're there and what has happened to it. Even the characters you're controlling are mysterious, and it's up to you to piece together the story bit by bit. The combat system is also explained in a very simplistic manner, and it essentially encourages experimentation to find out what functions work best in each slot. It felt satisfying figuring out everything on my own, especially when certain elements of the story 'clicked' so to speak. Visually the game looked excellent, and the soundtrack is just phenomenal - definitely one of my favourites (To my surprise it's also on Spotify). Definitely a game I'd recommend, it's got to be my favourite indie for sure. Shadow of the Colossus - Yet another ridiculously impressive game. I've never played this game before, so I got to experience this one for the first time in all it's glory. It's an incredibly unique experience to say the least. Visually it's undoubtedly one of the best looking games I've had the pleasure of playing, even on 'performance mode'. I also disabled motion blur entirely and had a much better experience as a result. I'll speak more about my journey after I've picked up the platinum, it's late as it is and I've work in the morning. Keep the updates flowing, it's always interesting to read everyone's thoughts on the games their playing (especially when it's a game I'm interested in myself). Until my next update

I'd rather do reasonably productive stuff most of the day than spend it wasting away in front of my television. I managed to finish up the platinum on Shadow of Mordor. Again. It was a little tedious to do it again so soon, but it was fresh in my memory and that helped quite a bit, especially with the 'A Mighty Doom' (lvl 25 rune) trophy. The nemesis system seems to have somewhat buggered up, as in the second last mission where you face off against your ultimate nemesis I found myself against some cheeky berk I had no memory of, instead of the giggly, screaming juggernaut who had consistently pushed my shit in at the most inopportune times. I plan to brand all the uruks in Udûn (because reasons) before starting on the Lord of the Hunt dlc. I started on LEGO Marvel Superheroes last night and got the first level done. I like the game, it has the right amount of cheese without becoming intolerable. The flying controls are kind of dogshit though, but the sequels improved on that thankfully. I just need to remember to buy the Mandarin's yacht (there are literally two boats in the entire game, one unlocked from the beginning and one you have to unlock. I forgot about it and thought my game was glitched on 99.8%.) Given that I'm dispersing by efforts elsewhere as of late, my updates will be more sparse. In any case, I wish everyone the best. [EDIT] I've decided to swap Hand of Fate for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. I played a bit of it a couple of years back but never finished it. Playing the first game gives me the motivation to jump on it again. Edited November 22, 2019 by SpaghettiGrabsy7
Popular Post viech54
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne: 0% -> 71% -> 82% => 100%, on November 10th, 2019, Trophy list Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: 0% => 8% => 31% => 61%, Trophy list Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana: 0%, Trophy list Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below: 0%, Trophy list Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy: 4%, Trophy list Games completed: 1/5 Time spent on this event: ~ 460 hours in MHW Iceborne, ~ 33 hours in Bloodstained Swaps used: 0/5 Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: Got the second bad ending and defeated all bosses except the final boss. Could quite likely clear this fight now or get most of the endgame grind out of the way first and then utterly destroy the final boss. I'm inclined to do the endgame grind/optional bosses first, started the game on the normal difficulty, I'm not in it for the challenge. But the optional bosses can't be completed prior to defeating the final boss, one can only be fought afterwards. Here's what's left to do: Complete the map: Currently at 99.5%, will probably get the rest from the final boss & the optional bosses. Complete the demon list: Currently at 91.34%. This should come naturally when fighting the last boss and the optional bosses. Complete the item list: Currently at 77.28%. This will be the most time consuming task, only have 40% of the weapon and have to farm quite a few ingredients to craft them all. Absorb every type of shard: Currently at 76% This is the other time consuming task, but it shouldn't take too long. Get 500k cash: Need that much at once, but there's a good way to make loads of money fast, don' think it'll take long. Master a weapon technique. Played through the majority of the game using a weapon that has no special technique, I'll just pick one that's easy to use and fight strong enemies. Get the true ending. I should have the plat next weekend. Edited November 17, 2019 by viech54

It was pretty easy and also quite enjoyable. Definitely a nice short RPG and one of the better Kemco offerings out there. I admit, I enjoy Kemco games a lot because they are short and easy, but also quite fun and to be quite honest the recent releases have all been quite good lately. Asdivine Kamura had a solidly fun story, fun characters and I never felt any of the tasks given were overly tedious. Definitely would recommend it. Will be going back to Omega Quintet now and also slowly chipping away at Cosmic Star Heroine.
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Sunday update - Closing in on 75% completion rate for my profile. Witcher 3 GOTY 50% - 91% as said on Friday I've unlocked the plat, then finished the complete Heart of Stone DLC yesterday. Only Blood and Wine left. 8 more trophies for that. Trophies unlocked: A Knight to Remember / I Have a Gwent Problem (true I have) / David and Golyat / The Witcher's Gone South / 100% Hearts of Stone / The Limits of the Possible Borderlands TPS 28% -> 41% Finished the story today with Fnee. We tried the raid boss but didn't managed to kill him after the story. If anyone wants to join in we're trying next Sunday again, one spot left. Around level 30 please and not an endgame char, I'd like to have a challenge, no fun in doing a raid boss otherwise. Trophies unlocked: Beam Me Up / Once More With Feeling / Vault Hunter Superior / Multi Face-eted / Moxxi's Sampler I'll be honest with y'all. I had my doubts I'd continue this challenge after my first boost of motivation, which got even worse when my depression kicked again last month. You're updates helped a lot to keep my mind on track, it's great to see all this progress And I've found a reliable coop partner trough this challenge. I'm actually looking forward to our weekend sessions each week.

Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update: Bound By Flame [PS3] - 100% Eat Them! It was a bit grindy but the grind is not over. Still have to get to lvl 99, do the Hero Colosseum and get the other races' awoken skills. Other than Hero Colosseum it shouldn't pose much trouble. I have yet to start on HC. As far as I know it's pretty tough and involves quite a lot of RNG but it's more of a strategic sidequest than a skill based one. I might be wrong, idk, gotta look into it. Driveclub Bikes: Finally got back to it. 54/162 gold stars acquired from main game. So far so good, nothing too troubling. I have to make this my next plat before completing DBX2. Most likely I will do all the bike races (inc dlc) only for now then start on cars (main) and do the dlc for cars in the bikes list that way I can focus on the handling of one type of vehicle. For next week my goal is to hit lvl 99 in DBX2 (currently lvl 93) and do as much as I can in DC Bikes. I will also have to do the online trophies for cars. Some people couldn't access the challenges in bikes today and I want to avoid that happening to me with cars. Dragon's Dogma (PS3) - 2% I have been slacking off regarding this event the previoius week (although truth be told I focused on getting some annoying Batman MP trophies before risking the server closure. Screw that game.) Anyway, now I am back in full force and progressed some more in J-Stars. All the annoying minuscule trophies are out of the way, I have 3 major trophies left to platinum this japanese stew : Finish all story arcs, finish 20 victory road fights and finish the whole victory road. The story arcs progress quite fast, I am in the middle of the third(Toriko's) arc and boy is he a powerhouse. I really like him as a char, he is just a glutton who wants to have a nice meal and punch the living shit outta enemies. Had lots of fun with Luffy also(1st arc and the majority of my playthough), he is easily the most overpowered character in the entire game. However Naruto(2nd arc) was a weak mess. He is supposed to be Ninja Jesus, yet he's so weak I actually got annoyed and resorted to Rasenshuriken spamming because that's all he can do really. Top tier gameplay I know. I actually dread to see how weak Ichigo(4th arc) is with his toothpick of a sword. Oh well this can be covered in one day anyway so no big issue really. However the victory road will be one big grinding mess. Apparently 123 matches are required there. Ah well, I will select God tier Luffy and Goku, together with Toriko support, just to blast through the mode. I am eager to delete this game, it's terribly mediocre. Not a bad game, just...mediocre. It does appeal to my younger shonen fan self though, not gonna lie. After this... I am in a stump, no idea what to start. I am torn between some sexy brutale combat in Bayonetta and some good police drama in LA Noire. Decisions decisions. I think I should flip a coin for that. Brutal Legend and Alice Madness returns will be left for those wintery days when leaving the house is not an option (since they are really atmospheric games for me) and Dragon's Dogma shall be attempted in the pre-Christmas week, when I have more free time. Will go full Mystik Knight to blast through the game as fast as possible, my main account and fun factor is on the PS4 version. ....ah yes and also One Piece Pirate Warriors 2. No idea what to do with that game, it's so boring and annoying. Will see... it's the only game on my list I am not eager to play, truthfully. Ok, now that's a proper update from my part, next time I will update with the platinum I promise!Cheers to the fellow competitors, you can do it
Popular Post neospoon
Let's try this again. Motivation... Where are you? It seems that as soon as I sign up for an event like this, All motivation goes down the drain. I don't feel like playing any of the games on my list or any game at all. Usually this feeling passes as I make some progress. But this time... I keep playing games that are not on my list. I think I finished around 4/5 games that are not on this list. Games I thought I wouldn't touch in a long time or games I never even thought I would enjoy (Fishing Sim World) I finished Mortal Kombat X after I saw @freddie1989 mention it. Bought the DLC got all those trophies and the last 2 trophies in the main game to get it up to 100%. I've been trying to get the last DLC mission done in Watch_Dogs 2 to get it up to 100% but it keeps annoying me with coop partners which resets the list of missions you're getting. I'll probably need a co-op partner who wants to stick with it for the 8/9 missions there are for this one. I swapped a game last time for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, only to play it for like 3 hours to never look back to it. I can't find the motivation to pick it back up, even though I actually bought it for the campaign (it was gonna be awesome)... So I did manage to start working on Riptide GP: Renegade. I lost my save file with my old PS4 breaking down. I've been slowly working on the main campaign trying to have some fun. It's still a fun game but it only keeps my attention for about an hour (also no trophies yet). After that I decided to start working on God of War: Ascension. Turns out it is supposed to be the worst one in the series (lol) Although I have to say I kind of enjoy it. It looks really pretty and I love the look of the enemies. I'm kind of new to the GoW series and I must say at least in this one I do not like the fighting. I've read most fans of the series dont like the changes they made to the combat, I myself don't know as I hardly touched any other GoW game so far. And Hard difficulty is actually pretty difficult... I'll most likely chip away on this game and Riptide while playing Fishing Sim World... I also want to start my Survivor run on Rise of the Tomb Raider (another game not on my list) this week. Something I should've done last week... Anyway enough with the rambling complaining and what not. Here's my update(s) God of War Ascension - 21% (13/36) (PS3) Riptide GP: Renegade - 33% (13/25) (PS4) Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 91% (87/100) (PS4) The Last of Us - 79%(39/50) (PS3) God of War - 11% (8/37) (PS4) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - 8% (3/28) (PS4) Fallout 3 - 2% (3/73) (PS3) Metro: Last Light - 4% (4/71)(PS3) Until Dawn - 14% (4/19) (PS4) Rocksmith 2014 - 22% (15/48) (PS4) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hunting Simulator - 100% (31/31) (PS4) Mortal Kombat 11 - 100% (59/59) Happy Hunting Everyone! Popular Post iXanon
Update #6: I've made a bit of further progress on LEGO Jurassic World, but unfortunately it doesn't show for much as I only have the grindy trophies left to unlock. I'll probably need a co-op partner who wants to stick with it for the 8/9 missions there are for this one. Which DLC is this pal? I will definitely be doing this at some point if you need a partner but I don't know when I will be buying it.

The Trophy I'm missing is Prize Catch Finish Operation: Off the Hook The way this mission works is, you will get random missions to finish, there's about 7/8. Once you finish those you will be given the final mission which you need to finish for the trophy. Everytime a random person joins in, the list will reset. Fast-travelling will also reset if one of the players gets disconnected. So to make sure to get them all you will have to drive all over the map to get to the starting points. Also since I lost my save on this game as well, I have a Marcus with no upgrades which doesn't make it any easier Thanks for offering the help. Just let me know when you get the DLC and perhaps we can team up to get that trophy done!

Popular Post Fnee2000
90 hour Update... Been a while, how have you all been? Me, I've been lost in Ancient Greece. For almost a month now and 90+ hours of the free time that I have had this past month. Besides my weekend Borderlands TPS runs with @JayDeLosDioses, I have not played much else but Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I am pleased to say that I have achieved most of the main story trophies. I have a few more cultists to kill and the story to complete and I will be done with the main Trophy list. Then it will be another 40-50 hours of DLC... Sigh... Anyway, I did manage to knock out Persona 5 : Dancing in Starlight earlier this month. I also cleaned up Squareboy vs Bullies on Vita from my unfinished list. So, I managed that at least. I am off to try and finish my Odyssey before the end of the month hopefully. Wish me luck ? Updated list below... Spoiler Game Sys. Start % Current % Comp. Popular Post Together_Comic
Update 9 Final Fantasy XV and Superbeat Xonic Date Started: 11/16/2019 Trophies when Event Started: 0/98 Event Starting Percentage 0% After Update 9 Trophies : 6/98 Event Starting Percentage 3% I started Final Fantasy XV this weekend. I've been playing through the Comrades DLC and so far it feels a lot like a monster hunter or something similar. You fight monsters on hunts to get components (to upgrade you gear) and levels, in order to fight stronger monsters on hunts so that you can eventually unlock the map, the hunts, and finish the story of the DLC. I am pretty sure that the main story will be different, and will feature more of the traditional Final Fantasy fare, but I've been enjoying this for the time being. The Combat so far is good. The diversity of weapons, and different playstyles for each weapon make the combat more than one note. I also enjoyed playing through the comrades quest with each of the 4 main characters each character plays really differently and is unique and mostly really fun (not ignus though, maybe I just dont understand what hes capable of though?). Pretty enjoyable game but the back tracking was awful at points, and that was before the collectables grind. Managed to complete 2 more games of my list the past couple of days, albeit one easy title and another where I didn't really have that much work left to do. Still glad to see these 2 crossed off from now on of course! Infamous First Light Well not only was this a very enjoyable game to play, it was also just as quick and easy to complete as expected. Some of the challenges had me a bit worried at first since they required some specific circumstances which seemed to be pretty rare to get in Seatlle but luckily the battle arenas provided exactly what I needed to make quick work of them. Speaking of which, I really loved fighting in these combat arenas! Even this mode alone would have been well worth the pricetag. It just reminded me a lot of the fantastic run n gun combat of Doom (literally can't wait for Doom Eternal to come out). Perhaps this is where the devs took their inspiration for the combat system in the first place since it's mentioned in game how one of the hologram designers was addicted to a game where you have to kill demons. Not sure if they meant that as a reference but I don't think it's that hard to notice the gameplay similarities between them. Main storyline was perhaps a bit short and lacking in terms of variety, however, but I guess I shouldn't really have expected too much from what's basically just meant as a standalone dlc for Second Son. I didn't really care too much for the story anyway since I always wanted to get back to the arenas as quickly as possible ^^ I just hope I didn't spoil anything for the story of Second Son for myself by playing this one first but I guess not since this is basically a prequel. Overall definitely not regretting putting this one on my list, I kinda needed something more fun and relaxing like this to help me find the motivation to get back on track with things for this challenge and I feel like it worked since it encouraged me to tackle something I've been neglecting for quite a while now: Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back Speaking about fun and relaxing...2 things that definitely do not come into mind when thinking about going for the relics. The game is absolutely fantastic don't get me wrong but some of these relics can be extremely brutal and frustrating to get, or at least for me they were (rip sanity). Luckily I already earned most of them about a month ago so I "just" had to clean up the 7 remaining ones (and reach 99 lives) to earn myself the platinum. Too bad these 7 relics contained levels like spaced out (which took me 2,5 hours), hanging out (1,5 hours) and piston it away (1 hour) so yeah fun times. Apart from these levels, however, I did feel like the relics of Crash 2 weren't nearly as bad overall as those of Crash 1, but maybe that's just bias since I used an actual functional controller this time around, who knows. Despite all of my frustration, I'm just really digging these remakes so far and I'm still kinda mad at myself for never playing the original when I still had the chance. I know I would have absolutely loved them as a child and perhaps that would have prevented me being so sh*t at them nowadays. Guess I should just be thankful towards Vicarious Visions for this wonderful remake though (except to the person who decided that it was a good idea to give nitro boxes the ability to jump) since I probably wouldn't have ever played them otherwise. Other games With these 2 titles completed I was able to move on to their "sequels" right away as well. Halfway done with my first playthrough (good karma) of Second Son atm. Nice to see it basically adds everything I was kinda missing in First light which makes sense of course as this is the main game after all. Some of the side objectives like the grafitti or the tracker drones do tend to get a bit repetitive after a while but it's nothing too bad (like collecting 350 blast chards without a map or something for example). Main storyline has been great so far which makes up for anything anyway. Not too much progress on Crash 3 on the other hand, just working my way slowly through the levels while trying to pick up most of the gems so far. Will likely be chipping away at this one whilst completing Second Son during the next couple of weeks. That'll be it for now I guess, glad to finally have made some decent progress on my list but as you can see, still quite a lot left to do. Looking forward to it though! Good luck everyone!
