Somehow I managed to earn some trophies yesterday in a game that is on my list Congrats! It was about time! I will slap an update as well, hope nobody minds: 1. Devil May Cry (PS3) - 100% 2. Devil May Cry 3 (PS3) - 100% 3. Demon's Souls (NA version PS3 ) - 100% 4. Deadpool (PS3) - 100% 5. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (PS3) - 100% 6. J-Stars Victory VS+ (PS3) - 100% 7. One Piece : Pirate Warriors 2 (PS3) - 11% -> 13% Swaps used : 1 Drops used : 1 Got even more progress in L.A. Noire. Playing the game legit so this will take a while. Currently at desk 3/4, Vice Cases(dealing with drugs and all that mafia stuff). Honestly the game drags on in the Vice case, I liked the previous 2, Traffic and Homicide, more. Before I was hunting criminals and doing Sherlock Holmes detective, now I just run from one place to another and shoot bad guys with Morphine in their veins. On the other hand, completed another DLC (Reefer Madness), I am expecting to clean up this game by the end of next week. I guess I am ahead of schedule so far the only trophy that might pose a problem would be finding all those unique cars. Most of them look the same so this will take a while... But all in all, I am enjoying the game so far.

Popular Post viech54
Second Oninaki update. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne: 0% => 71% => 82% => 100%, on November 10th, 2019, Trophy list Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: 0% => 8% => 31% => 61% => 100%, on November 21st, 2019, Trophy list Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana: 0%, Trophy list Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below: 0%, Trophy list Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy: 4%, Trophy list Oninaki: 0% => 7% => 40%, Trophy list Games completed: 2/6 Time spent on this event: ~ 460 hours in MHW Iceborne, ~ 43 hours in Bloodstained, ~ 15 hours in Oninaki Swaps used: 0/7 Swapped games: None Drops Used: 0/2 Dropped games: None Oninaki: The game gets a lot better when you make it past the tutorials and gain some experience. The story's kicking off too, and it has some memorable pieces of music. Once you get a better understanding of the battle system, it's no longer as tedious as it was at the start of the game.So there was no need to lower the difficuly. Already got both semi-missable trophies, while it's apparently possible to get them after the story, there's just no need to wait that long and rely on postgame when I'm not 100% sure they can still be obtained later on. I'm pretty close to the end of the game, will probably get all endings on Saturday and then start postgame (bonus dungeon & grind). I'd also like another PSN level up this month, but getting it with just Oninaki might be tough. Still need 405 points and will get around 210 (at least 2 gold, 2 bronze) for all endings. Not sure I can get the remaining 195 points this month. Edited November 28, 2019 by viech54
Popular Post StilRh
Got the platinum for Atelier Ryza, phew! Enjoyable and quite a forgiving plat by atelier series standards but the grind at the end was something I had to power through. Only 2 more days of vacation - will probably Civ it up for a bit and dabble in games on my list.
Popular Post Copanele
Due to some unforeseeable circumstances , I am forced to make 2 swaps : Pre-weekend update 1. Devil May Cry (PS3) - 100% 2. Devil May Cry 3 (PS3) - 100% 3. Demon's Souls (NA version PS3 ) - 100% 4. Deadpool (PS3) - 100% 5. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (PS3) - 100% 6. J-Stars Victory VS+ (PS3) - 100% 7. L.A. Noire (PS3) - 5% -> 27% -> 42% 8. Devil May Cry 2(PS3) - 0%[NEW] 9. DmC: Devil May Cry (PS3) - 0%[NEW] 10.Bayonetta (PS3) - 2% 11.Alice : Madness Returns (PS3) - 0% -> 3% 12. One Piece : Pirate Warriors 2 (PS3) - 11% -> 13% Swaps used : 3 Drops used : 1 Games swapped : Brutal Legend -> DmC Dragon's Dogma -> DMC2 During December and February I will have to do several trips/vacations, so I estimate that i won't have time to cover all the games I originally had in my Backlog. Apart from that, I really enjoy my games so I decided to do swaps with games I've previously finished, in order to keep myself happy and fit into the schedule. So, I will make a short review so it won't be a lame update from my part (kinda overposting here, sorry I just love this event): SWAPPED GAMES: 1. Brutal Legend : I love Jack Black and the idea of this game. Yes the game itself might not be that great, given the RPG/RTS/Action/Metal tendency, it can't decide what it wants to be. Regardless, given that it has so many monsters of rock in it and so many references, I wish to immerse further into this game. I doubt I will have time to finish everything by February if I take my time like this. So...this will be outside the event. 2. Dragon's Dogma : This game is BIG. I played the PS4 version and I still haven't platinumed it yet. The PS3 version, even though it doesn't require the DLC BitterBlack Isle, it still will take alot of time to complete. Plus, given my tendency to just do every stupid quest, again it will take way too much time. REMAINING GAMES: 1. L.A. Noire - Honestly this game gave me the idea of swapping my stuff. I am having so much fun with this game, I am playing it as legit as possible (a.k.a. using a guide only if a certain case seriously kicks my ass). It takes multiple playthroughs and attention to detail. Plus, I just love to drive around and listen to the old school radio so yeah... it will take a while. 2. DmC : Devil May Cry - I usually try to be humble when it comes to videogames in general. My only 2 exceptions are Soulsborne series and Devil May Cry. I kick ass at those. DmC is the reboot of the series and I have finished it on all difficulties both on PC and PS4 with no issues. It's time to cover the PS3 version as well (it will be even easier since scoring SSS ranks is pathetically easy in this iteration). So this will go into the EZPZ cathegory for me. 3. DMC2 - THIS ATROCITY however will eat me apart. Luckily I have found the youtube channel AvoidingThePuddle (Aris is the best Tekken teacher out there + he plays some dumb shit). I can get across this game while watching Aris playing slots machines in Shenmue 2. Otherwise...this game is crap. I just want to be done with it and have all my DMC games platinumed (Thanks to a certain Mango for doing that Series stuff). 4. Bayonetta - Did not play this game too much before, but from checking on Youtube, the principles are the same as DMC : Kill tons of monsters as stylish as possible. Right up my alley. After pulling all the feats in DMC2 and DmC, Bayonetta will be like a dessert. Not sure what's the deal with Witch Time but if it's like Nero's Shuffle from DMC4/5 then I will have no problems. 5. Alice : Madness Returns - back in my glorious PC times, I finished American McGee's Alice around 5 times (loved that game) and Alice Madness Returns around 2 times. So this game will be pretty ok for me. I always am up for some American McGee Psychedelic Adventures. The only exception is those damn collectibles, can't remember them all, a guide is required. So that's kinda all from my part. I am abit sorry for having to do another swap. But...I wish to fit into the timetable. PLUS! I have a special game in mind for 75 (I currently have 71 of them) so I also have to take that in consideration which is pretty fun, not gonna lie feels like a proper challenge for me, managing my resources and all that . Best of luck with your backlogs everyone!
Popular Post freddie1989
Finished the main story on Watch dogs 2 now so just clean up on that one, all of which is really straightforward so should make fairly quick progress on that. It is definitely not as good as the first one, the story kind of feels like you are doing side missions throughout and didn't really grab me like Aiden's did. Still need to buy the ludicrously priced season pass that comes with minimal content so will be waiting for a sale for that! No idea what to do next, Zombi looks awful so I have been reluctant to pick it back up, I still have The Surge, Metro and Dying Light to work on. Haven't bought Walking Dead yet, I am waiting to see what Santa brings...... The Surge 0% Watch Dogs 100% Far Cry 5 63% Metro 2033 Redux 0% Dying Light 3% Modern Warfare Remastered 100% Walking Dead Final Season 0% Zombi 2% Detroit: Become Human 100% Overcooked 100% Watch Dogs 2 23% - 48% Mortal Kombat X 28%

Crash Bandicoot: Warped As I've said earlier, definitely the easiest one out of the trilogy in terms of getting all the gems and relics. That being said, however, it's also my least favourite of the bunch. Some levels were really great visually like the medieval, future and prehistoric levels (especially loved those) but there were just too much annoying vehicle levels for me to be able to fully enjoy my time with this game. The plane levels were boring, the motorcycle suffered from some poor controls and even though the jetski levels were ok gameplaywise, I still didn't like them cause they just didn't really feel like a Crash Bandicoot level, which might just be me though. Add the underwater levels which I didn't like either to that list and you've pretty much got half the game already. Even though I now make it sound like I absolutely hated this title, I still really loved playing it. The platforming levels were better than ever and the new additions to Crash's moveset made traversing them so much more interesting by being able to try out different methods. The boss battles were really fun as well. Those things definitely made up for my earlier complaints, but I just really hope that Vicarious (if the rumours about the new Crash game are true of course) turn down the amount of "special" levels a bit in the future and just keep Crash by his platforming roots for the most part. With future tense they showed their capability in creating some phenomenal levels so I'm quite confident that the series is in good hands for now. Infamous Second Son Think I pretty much said everything about this one already, I just love the infamous games. If I have to say anything negative at all about this series then it is probably that the alternative karma playthough often doesn't really offer that much changes to the story as the game claims it to, even though I have to admit that they clearly improved on this aspect compared to the older games. It's also just a very minor complaint anyway since the gameplay itself is just so much fun that you don't even care about the story anymore. Which is a good thing cause the story is definitely the weak point of the series anyway. The side missions can become quite repetitive and tedious to some people too I suppose, but they never really did for me. You don't have to redo them all for the opposite karma anyway if you don't want to (I did cause my OCD can't handle the icons on the map otherwise). Overall, time just flies by when playing this game and luckily most of the trophies come naturally when going for 100% completion so I never really had to worry about any of them either. Glad to have put this on my list! In terms of what to play next, I picked up shadow of the tomb raider definitive edition and Spider Man for Black Friday this year and even though I'm extremely tempted to play those right now, I think I'm going to hold off for now since I have some special plans for my 50th platinum. Will have to complete Crack in Time first but I can already reveal that it's going to be a game that's currently sitting on my list as well (exciting stuff I know). Good luck everyone and untill next time! Definitely enjoy it and make sure to take as much time as you want since I'm probably not going to be able to complete everything of my list anyway. No need to rush. Thanks again for wanting to help me out with those (especially since it's again a game which is not on your list, I'm not exactly helping you here ) Edited November 30, 2019 by Flex_Da_Brent

In most of those I find myself lacking interest in at least one route and end up skipping most of it, but all of them were really good and the heroine had great chemistry with all the guys. All that is left is one epilogue, which will unlock the last few gallery items, but I'm saving the plat for next month so it can qualify for a bonus for the PSNP Generic Winter Holiday Event. Finished up episodes 8 and 9 in Omega Quintet. Just have the true ending to finish off before I beat the game and move into the post game grind for the plat. After beating the game all that remains is post game quests, finding the remaining archives, climbing the training facility, grinding for max affection, grinding for a billion approval, and killing 10,000 monsters. For an idea of how insane the last two are with the game nearly done my approval is at 4,970,456 and I've killed 1,637 monsters. Also, added a game that I'm likely to play very soon.
Popular Post viech54
Third Oninaki update Monster Hunter World: Iceborne: 0% => 71% => 82% => 100%, on November 10th, 2019, Trophy list Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: 0% => 8% => 31% => 61% => 100%, on November 21st, 2019, Trophy list Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana: 0%, Trophy list Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below: 0%, Trophy list Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy: 4%, Trophy list Oninaki: 0% => 7% => 40% => 70%, Trophy list Games completed: 2/6 Time spent on this event: ~ 460 hours in MHW Iceborne, ~ 43 hours in Bloodstained, ~ 30 hours in Oninaki Swaps used: 0/7 Swapped games: None Drops Used: 0/2 Dropped games: None Oninaki: Got all endings. It improved drastically from a mediocre start to a genuinely enjoyable experience near the end of the game. Don't regret adding this game to my list, while I wouldn't call it a top title, it's definitely a decent game that's worth my time (just like the other two Tokyo RPG Factory games). Next ist the bonus dungeon. One trophy is waiting for me at the end, most others should come naturally while clearing all floors. The bonus dungeon supposedly takes up to 10 hours to complete. As for my goal of reaching the next PSN level in November, not sure if I can get it done. With the trophies for all endings and some misc ones, I'm still 90 points short of a level up. I could get some of the trophies today, but not sure if I can get enough for a level up. These are the trophies I might be able to get: https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/9460-oninaki/16-master-of-the-beyond https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/9460-oninaki/22-wayfinder https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/9460-oninaki/24-seeker-of-truth https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/9460-oninaki/29-transcendent https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/9460-oninaki/36-blessed-scavenger https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/9460-oninaki/42-quiet-negotiator https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/9460-oninaki/44-idol-of-the-gods All but the last two trophies are silver trophies. The last two are bronze and the easiest ones on the list. Idol of the Gods can be obtained right after starting the bonus dungeon, Quiet Negotiator requires trading items. Both can be done in a matter of minutes. If I can get these two and two of the silver trophies, it's level up time. But the silver trophies take a bit longer and sometimes require a bit of luck. Will let you know how it turned out. Edited November 30, 2019 by viech54

We've reached the halfway point of this challenge, great to see everyone still sticking with it. Adding four more games to bring my total to 20. I'm entirely focused on Metal Gear Rising at the moment, but I do want to play and platinum God of War before it's removed from PlayStation Now at the beginning of next year. I thought the Black Friday PS Store sales were woeful, no Vita or PS3 games in sight. I guess it's safe to say sales are a thing of the past regarding those two consoles. Nevertheless I ended up buying 8 physical games, as well as a controller + a year's PS Plus subscription across various sites. Shadow of the Colossus - Picked up the platinum shortly after my last update. I needed to complete a speed run on Hard difficulty which was both very easy and incredibly lenient. Afterwards all that remained was to max out Wander's health and stamina bars - for this I just repeated the first colossus over and over again until I maxed both bars out. It felt tedious at first but after getting into a rhythm it went by quicker than I expected. Regarding the game itself, it's currently the best game I've played on the PS4. As I mentioned in my previous update, it truly is a very unique experience. I'd highly recommend playing this blind while also trying your best to avoid looking at solutions to each of the Colossi. It's very satisfying to figure out how to best each beast on your own, especially when the solutions aren't the most obvious. Phalanx was my personal favourite, closely followed by Avion. Both were airborne and both were very memorable battles. I already spoke about the visuals, but I'll also add that the soundtrack was excellent once again. The track that plays before the Kuromori battle was my favourite, really added a sense of dread to the whole battle. Another game I'd very much recommend, really happy with the quality of the games I've been playing as of late. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - I'm disappointed that it's taken me this long to finally get back to this one. I started it way back in 2015 after it had been collecting dust for months, but I quickly dropped it because I simply sucked at parrying. I ended up getting frustrated and felt there was no point in continuing since I was struggling as much as I was at the time. I started it with a DualShock 4 this time around and I'm really happy with how much I've improved at the game. I finished my first playthrough on Normal with some difficulties, but I never felt like a fight was beyond my level of skill. I took my time with the game, listening to as much codec conversations as I could while also fighting every enemy I came across. The story was interesting as it followed on from the conclusion of Metal Gear Solid 4, so there was plenty of references for me to enjoy. It was also chalked full of some very epic moments enhanced by a phenomenal soundtrack. My second playthrough on Hard went by smoothly. I was picking up mostly A ranks on each of the fights, while simultaneously cleaning up some of the miscellaneous trophies as well as all of the collectables. I even managed a to pick up a couple of the 'No Damage Boss' trophies which felt good to say the least. Next up are the 20 VR missions which I'm sure will prove to be a very difficult task. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it! Edit: 20/20 VR missions completed. ? (by completed I mean finished in first place) Edited December 4, 2019 by GraniteSnake
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Weekend update: Borderlands TPS: 41% -> 62% CIV VI 34% -> 43% LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 6% -> 40% Overall progress 50,64% -> 54,48% Not happy with that lackluster update so here's an edit: *Insert badly remixed intro music* WHAT'S UP LOGANGSTERS AND WELCOME TO "SUNDAY UPDATE EDITED ON MONDAY". As always we'll jump straight into the roundup. This time it's only a four day update but without further ado, here's what happened. *Insert commercial Perhaps if you'd bought more quality Hyperion munitions, you would not need to use the Hyperion quality New-U station as much! Just a thought!* Borderlands The Pre Sequel(41% -> 62%) Progress made in the DLC, exploring the mind of Claptrap. Also cleaned the Raid boss for Fnee finally. Fun fact: I was throwing Transfusion grenades left, right and center during the raid fight and never got much healing out of them, Fnee and Myrddrin tanked that not lazy designed boss. Finished the fight with a totally not random Mechromancer Flagtrap skill. Btw, I think I missed a percentage gain somewhere, 3 bronzes and that progress? Trophies: Wheely Fast / Totally Recalled / That Tasted Purple! Sid Meier's Civilization VI(34% -> 43%) There was a patch on the day I dropped my last update and it fixed the multiplayer. Playing with two friends and AI on Settler. They never played so the challenge for them is to manage the empire, we'll doing 1 or 2 training games before changing the AI to normal. I've got 750h combined in Civ 5 and 6 on PC, so I just fool around a bit (spamming Wonders ) I've also popped the trophy for the Australian Outback mission. Trophies: Land Party / A Case for War / Gift From the Storm God / Investment Banking / Archimedes Bath / Attack of the Drop Bear / Voyage of the Mayflower Lego Marvel Super Heroes (6% -> 46%) Currently cleaning out the Manhattan Hub after finishing the story. I want to get all the Red Bricks first before cleaning out the story levels again. I really like grinding out the stuff in LEGO games, it's mostly the same in every game they do, but if you play them every other month it's still funny, but I also think Dad jokes are funny. Popular Post EPICRAGE
END OF NOVEMBER UPDATE: My only update for November because I didn't get much done. I started the month by playing a couple games not on my list; Worse Than Death which was decent and I got the platinum in one night without any guides and Flipping Death which was a lot of fun and had a DoubleFine-like art style and sense of humor. After those I went back to the backlog and got the platinum for Death Mark which I started by playing the game legit and reading everything but eventually skipped all dialogue and followed a guide to just get it done. I'll probably get another platinum for the VITA version. The reason I didn't make much progress this month was because I started playing Death Stranding and all my gaming time went to that game and its 150-200 hour platinum trophy. I'm currently sitting at 65% but I feel like I will finish it soon. The trophy guide by PowerPyx says to finish the story and then do everything after the endgame but I've been keeping up with everything so I won't have too much to do once I finish the story. Then back to the backlog! 1. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission - 2. Vacation Simulator - 3. Just in Time Inc. - 4. Blood & Truth - (92% thanks to not one but TWO DLCs being released) 5. Popular Post Liioni
Graveyard Keeper 100% -> Graveyard Keeper 84% (They released a new DLC) My Time at Portia 18% -> 27% Darkest Dungeon 14% God of War 5% -> 24% Borderlands 3 7% -> 12% The Witness 0% -> 22% So it's been over a month since my last update, I have had an insane month regarding workload so I'm just happy I've managed to get some game-time in. I'm gonna wait a bit before I get the DLC for Graveyard Keeper, but planning on doing it before this event is over at least. My Time at Portia is going slowly, I really hate the crafting system in that one, it's just over complicated and annoying. But I like running around and just chilling in that game. Darkest Dungeon is fantastic, I just haven't had the time to sit down with it and focus on getting forward. I got a few helpful tips from a friend so I'm hoping I might be able to get further at least. haha. God of War is beautiful!! I'm getting closer and closer to the end of the game and it makes me a bit sad, it's a fantastic story and I just love playing through it. I still got quite a bit of farming to do to get all the last bits and pieces, so I still have a few hours of the game left. Borderlands, well. I planned on playing it together with my partner, but it didn't work that well when it first came out, and we just haven't taken the time to see how it works now. So will see if I manage to finish that one in time. The Witness is super pretty and I like the puzzles, I've just been so focused on solving issues in programming lab work at Uni so I've kind of stayed away from it. Hoping to be able to get back in to it soon though.
Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Update: Bound By Flame [PS3] - 100% Eat Them! [PS3] - 0% God of War: Ghost of Sparta [PS3] - 0% Heavy Rain [PS4] - 100% Mad Max [PS4] - 0% Actual Sunlight [Vita] - 100% Driveclub Bikes [PS4] - 57% => 80% How to Survive 2 [PS4] - 0% Wanted Corp [Vita] - 0% Dragonball Xenoverse 2 [PS4] - 91% => 97% Skylanders Giants [PS3] - 0% Grand Kingdom [PS4] - 100% Dragonball Xenoverse 2: I got the Awoken Skills for every race (that gave me the plat) and started on Hero Colosseum. Wow, the Hero Colosseum is a whole 'nother beast that requires a lot of TP (currency) to buy figures you can battle with (it's all about strategy, a lotta luck and a lotta grinding of course, not fighting skills). I think I got a "good" team out of the TP I got throughout the game (which wasn't much) with some save scumming. It got me through 2/3 of HC story so far but I don't think that will last and I will have to grind till eternity to get more TP and a better team. I think completing HC is not a matter of "IF" but "WHEN". Could take a week, a month or even a year (nah prolly not that long). Driveclub Bikes: I got all the "bikes" parts done of the trophy list. It was a really fun racing game thru and thru. Nothing too challenging. I like how there are objectives during the race that you have to complete but not always in one go. I haven't played a proper superbike racing game in about 15 years so this really hit the spot. So at the halfway marker I haven't even finished half of my games and there's a lot of grind left to do in what still remains. I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna have time for everything on my list. I'll still try to complete whatever I can but it's time to be realistic. Anyway... Short-term Plan (Next Week): Most likely grinding for HC stuff in DBX2 here and there. I won't exhaust myself over this because I do like HC but I don't want to focus on just one thing. I will also start up Eat Them! and see how far I can get. Long-term Plan (Month of Dec): Knock out Eat Them! and God of War: Ghost of Sparta by Xmas. Start playing Driveclub (most likely around Xmas as I try not to play violent games on Xmas and what game could be less violent than a racing game) so I can get to the rest of Driveclub Bikes' trophies. Play (and hopefully finish) Skylanders Giants during my Xmas break. As an added bonus it would be nice to finish DBX2 also (but at this point Idk how much grinding it will take). Popular Post neospoon
Good Monday everyone! Two updates in a row, amazing! Although I have been playing more games that are not on my list than ones that are, I still managed to get some trophies Saturday is from now on reserved for co-op games and boosting sessions. Got a lot of trophies again in Strange Brigade. Which still is an awesome game! We decided to do some clean-up and trophy boosting on the first level. Even after playing it a couple of times it was still much enjoyable and I can't wait to go back to it again. Somehow I decided and ended up in a boosting session for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. Don't ask me how and why, but man I totally forgot how much fun that game is. The session was for doing a sort of horde mode on highest difficulty and reach round 10 and finish it. We managed to get it done on our first try! Which was pretty amazing since the last time some played it was 5 years ago Which brings us to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Started with getting all the trophies that I've missed on previous levels. It was actually really easy (on recruit) And I think it took me around 2 hours to get all of them. If I would've used a guide on my first playthrough, the game would've been done a while ago. After getting the misc. trophies I started my next run on veteran straight away. I must say it's turning into a "run for the next checkpoint and we'll see what happens next" game. I made it up to the 11th level so I have 3 more to go which I will probably get done somewhere this week. Here's the score so far Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - 89% (25/28) (PS4) God of War Ascension - 21% (13/36) (PS3) Riptide GP: Renegade - 33% (13/25) (PS4) Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 91% (87/100) (PS4) The Last of Us - 79%(39/50) (PS3) God of War - 11% (8/37) (PS4) Until Dawn - 14% (4/19) (PS4) Rocksmith 2014 - 22% (15/48) (PS4) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hunting Simulator - 100% (31/31) (PS4) Mortal Kombat 11 - 100% (59/59) Happy Hunting everyone!

I finished off the 100% in Shadow of Mordor a couple of hours ago. Most of the trophies were rather trivial but those Trials... hoo boy (keep in mind I decided not to use the backup save exploit). Lord of the Ring wasn't too hard, I just failed the first time because I had to bugger around and waste time trying to get a level 30 rune for another trophy, but I got it on the second attempt. The Hunt is My Mistress on the other hand pushed my shit in many a time. In the end I had about 3 minutes left and had to find the Captains manually (my cheese Warchief had died... because my graug ate him... don't ask) and ended up panic-spamming arrows at the last captain's face and won the trial with 29 seconds to spare. I'll drop in to the game every now and then to have more fun with the Nemesis System, it's a lot more fun without a time limit. I've made a bit of progress in some of my other games, but not much really worth discussing. After those Trials I'm inclined to take it easy for a while trophy-wise. I haven't played Jak and Daxter since I was in early primary school, so playing that game again brought back fond memories I forgot I had. I never finished the game or made any kind of progress, but now that I'm playing it again I'm having a lot of fun. That'll do me for now. I have a appointment with cake, and it is an appointment I intend to keep. Have fun everyone!
Popular Post iXanon
Update #8: Another week, another platinum! I said last week that Spyro the Dragon would most likely be the next completion to aim for, and it turned out to be the case - the trophies weren't too much of a challenge when you actually sat down and played the game for a little while. I've been thinking about the next game to tackle, and I think it could potentially be Killzone (so why have I been playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City?!). I can't see me having another platinum to report next week, but you never know.. Popular Post Together_Comic
I've finally had my caffeine and some time to catch up with what folks have gotten done over the weekend and I have to say I am impressed people. As we enter the second half of the event lets keep pushing forward and get these games done ?. Here's what I've been up too. Update 11 Final Fantasy XV Final Fantasy XV Date Started: 11/16/2019 Trophies when Event Started: 0/98 Event Starting Percentage 0% After Update 9 Trophies : 6/98 Event Percentage 3% After Update 9.5 Trophies : 7/98 Event Percentage 5% After Update 10 Trophies: 24/98 Event Percentage 19% After Update 11 Trophies 65/98 Event Percentage 56% I'm going to be honest with yall, Final Fantasy XV may be wearing out its welcome. I got a lot done over the 4 day weekend and I still seem to have a mountain more to go. Anyway, I've finished the main story and all the side quest from the main game bar slaying the giant turtle which should happen sometime today and will get me the platinum trophy. I am also almost finished with the royal DLC which requires me to get 5 datalog entries from the post game dungeons to finish the 80% (so glad I don't have to do them all), get a story event by going to one of those dungeons, and then kill the ultima hopefully I'll have all this done by Friday. After that there's still 4 additional DLC episodes to do which will probably take about 3-5 hours each and then we are done. Conservatively I hope to have this done in the next 30 hours of gameplay (which is would bring my total over 100 for the full 100% yikes) The trophy list for the main game overall isn't actually bad. There is some grindy stuff like fishing (actually more fun than I thought it would be) and survival skill (walking around seems like it would be easy, but it levels up soooooo slow) and completing some of the dungeons for all the royal arms can be tough (looking at you Castle (this is a great dungeon but seriously what is up with that trap that dumps you back in the 3 red giant and naga room, was that really necessary) Everything else though is surprisingly easy and straight forward. Finish the game, upgrade the car, collect all the power McGuffins, use all the powers at least once, Kill the super boss, nothing out of the ordinary or to difficult. The Royal DLC adds completing a few side quests, another superboss, and the worst trophy 80% of the datalog (especially if you had previously finished the game thats an oof), and the 2017 Update adds doing 10 full chainlinks and defeating you guessed it another super boss. here are some minorish spoilery thoughts about the game's story and game overall if you are interested. Spoiler So, part of me understands why this game isn't very well liked among the Final Fantasy community. The game does fall victim to the trap of trying to have an expansive open world RPG while at the same time tell a FF story. So the pacing is really bad. I felt trapped into doing all the side content really early because the point of no return happens in chapter 8/15 which means that everything is front loaded. This wouldn't be a massive problem if the side content were as engaging as say the Witcher 3s but its hard to demand that every game especially one released so early in the PS4 life cycle be as good as that one. That being said half of the side content seems to be fetch quests or go kill the monster which isn't super engaging, combine that with feeling forced to do it early and you end up in a prime position to be bored. Which definitely happened to me. I really want to like the story being presented here. Lunafreya for not getting much screen time is one of the best characters in the series (seriously there's one for every other main character, where is my episode Luna). The whole concept of the chosen king and the oracle, the cost of being the oracle, and what it means to protect the kingdom are all really neat. Its also cool to have the espers, eons, summons, whatever you want to call them play such a pivotal role in the plot. Ardyn is a neat character and a fun villain. But again the pacing is just so bad, it feels glacial at first with the massive open world side quests eating up all your time with out much happening in the main story (bar the trial of titan, that was a great piece), and then once you hit the Altissa Leviathan summoning the plot races off into completion, there isn't really a middle its more of a beginning and a race to the end of the game. Noct is a neat hero, but all of the character development of the cast bar him takes place in chapter 12 and then we rush off for Noct to be alone in chapter 13 and the confrontation in 14, and really the only other real development for Noct comes in the Titan chapter. I'm sure that there is a lot more development for the other characters in the DLC Episodes, but that's not really where you want your videogame to be. Its shouldn't cost 4.99 a character (thank goodness for the royal edition) for me to care about them. I feel like underneath it all there is a really strong game here, it has what it needs for that, it just feels like it came out of the oven a half year to soon. With some more polish and better pacing, (and maybe a smidgeon of better writing) this could have been a classic, as it sits, I just feel like its a really long mediocre video game. In other news, I think I am going to use a swap on Kingdom Come Deliverance to Titanfall 2. I debated keeping it or dropping it for a long while, but with December PS+ announcing a game I actually wanted to play, and having my desire to play RPGs throughly beaten out of me by the amount of DLC and time I've invested in FFXV, I decided to swap. Anyway, here's a updated summary for whats left to do. ~ TC Game Trophies Percentage Final Fantasy IX 52/52 100% Mass Effect 3 69/69 100% Crash Bandicoot 2 25/25 100% God of War: Ascension 36/36 100% Return of the Obra Dinn 17/17 100% Final Fantasy XV 65/98 56% Super Beat: Xonic! 28/33 64% Titanfall 2 0/51 0% J Star Victory Vs+ 0/50 0% Swaps 2/7 Drops 0/2 Edited December 2, 2019 by Together_Comic

Pretty much after getting to the final boss area, you have to exit out and go craft some of the accessories you can now make with blueprints you get right in the final boss room because without that it just wasn't doable to beat this boss. Also just the final boss alone doubled the approval rating I had to be almost 10 million. Have completed some of the level grinding needed to take on the training facility and already hit up two of the floors that became available with beating the game on advanced difficulty. Now I'm standing at 49,410,888 approval of the 1 billion needed and 3,251 monsters killed because I let the game run while at work today to grind for affection trophies. Yay for having a turbo controller to automate that tedium. Also started Punch Line which is looking to be one of those so bad it's good sort of games. About the best way I can describe the game is that it's Ghost Trick with panties. Yes, I'm serious. You play a guy who is not really dead, but he's a ghost and someone is possessing him and you have to find this book that conveniently happens to be in the apartment building you live in (according to a dead cat at least) and you have to play pranks on the girls who live in the apartment to find the book, but also have to avoid looking at their panties (except not, since you have to if you want the plat). Can't recommend this one at full price, but if you're the sort who is into cheesy so bad they are good sort of games it's worth grabbing on sale for a silly easy plat.

The final cases were so long that I cheated myself and sneaked some peeks at a guide for the DLC (Nicholson Electroplating DLC is way too huge and I was stuck.) Wrapped up the story and thank GOD i found all the cars relatively easy. I might have been lucky. Ironically the garbage truck was the hardest to find for me... do L.A. people not have trash to throw away? Anyway, the only thing remaining is to complete some street cases, discover all the locations and film reels and drive 194.7 miles( because I was a lazy ass and just fast travelled everywhere). I should be done with this tomorrow the latest. Preparing my prayers for the next game... DMC2. Slapping that game on my list....
Popular Post neospoon
Another quick update... Yesterday I finished up the campaign for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on Veteran, earning me the platinum trophy! My opinion on the story hasn't really changed, I couldn't care less about all the characters and the story in general. To me, no memorable over the top actions ever happened. It was also one of the easiest Veteran runs ever compared to older installments in the series. All that's left now is the Spec Ops trophy which I will worry about at a later point. Time to move on to the next game. I want to pick up God of War: Ascension where I left it two weeks ago. I believe I'm almost halfway through it on the highest difficulty. Besides that, I'm starting on BLUR, a racing game with powerups and what not that's not on my list Here's the score so far Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - 98% (27/28) (PS4) Shadow of the Tomb Raider - 91% (87/100) (PS4) The Last of Us - 79%(39/50) (PS3) Riptide GP: Renegade - 33% (13/25) (PS4) Rocksmith 2014 - 22% (15/48) (PS4) God of War Ascension - 21% (13/36) (PS3) Until Dawn - 14% (4/19) (PS4) God of War - 11% (8/37) (PS4) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hunting Simulator - 100% (31/31) (PS4) Mortal Kombat 11 - 100% (59/59) Happy Hunting everyone!
