Unobtainable? (update Oct 15. Patched)

With the version recently released, it adds new levels and such compared to the original release (which we never got here), but some of the trophies are for characters you cannot unlock because now they are available from the start anyway (Pelvis, Laverne, etc.) . 

 

Update> the trophy information was patched so now you just have to clear a level with the 4 characters in question. 

 

The next problem is the "all characters" trophy does not pop, thus blocking the platinum. I've tried on a new game, my cloud save... Nothing.

I am missing 3 charcters for some reason? There are no more characters appearing in the spinning wheel.

Are there other objectives to get them?

 

And the trophy 'I wan't to believe' hasn't popped for me, altough I have it unlocked.

Only missing this trophy and unlock all characters.

The ones I missed at first were hot dog guy, found in the burger level. 

 

High roller is found in the casino level

 

The big guy in the cape is found in the bowling alley only (afaik) in that last group that forms near the end of the level, where you are automatically captured if you go towards the exit. Don't go too far, sit back and snag that group. The character was in there for me. 

 

I found I needed to stick around after completing the requirements of the level for them to show up in general. 

 

 

Good news on the trophy, though. The other region version was just patched and that fixes the bug. I'm hoping the patch will make its way to the jp version soon.

Update: At the Tokyo Game Show 2019 I was there on business days and got a chance to talk to eastasiasoft. They acknowledged there was a bug and they pushed a patch through but now it's up to Sony to put it on the servers. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Just a quick update that the patch was finally released in Asia. The one for all dancers didn't pop at first. I played the first stage, nothing. Went to endless, and at the character selection screen it popped. 

 

All working now.
