Nitro
No. Save data is different than the app.

Nitro
If you can't to a PC, try upload it to the PS+ cloud or a PS3 system I was almost 100% sure you could transfer saved data from Vita > PC Edited August 19, 2019 by Nitro

eighthdayregret
Um... The answers in this thread are wrong. Saves are copied over with the app, unless the game is the rare case where saves and updates are saved to the cartridge.

This is correct and is the best way to backup saves without having PS+ Furthermore the save is the first thing copied so if you just want the save but not the game you can usually cancel it within the first few seconds when the save is moved over.
