Tip for Kamuro of the Dead pickups

There is actually another pickup hidden in each level, it’s a bunny doll, and I do think they count towards the pickup items, this would make 3 for each level and speed up the process.

 

In the first level is to the right of the grenade barrel, on the second is right next to the health chest, on the third is hard to explain, but its on a sunshade halfway through the level (where two flying enemies spawn), on the fourth level is actually on the back of the scene where the huge enemy is trying to smash you (slow motion) above him you can see it on the back.

 

I haven’t found the 5th one since I didn’t bother to farm that level on my runs.

I know this is an old thread, but the stuffed animals don't count. The Japanese version of the trophy specifies that you need to get 50 "health items and bombs".

As cckerberos said you have to shoot the metal barrels (grenades) and wooden crates (health) 50x in total. Each level gives you around 2 pick ups each level so you'll have to grind out shooting all those items and not the doll as they don't count towards the trophy.
