Hey all. Seeing as I won't be getting the PS4 remaster for any of these games until at least February, if I even decide to start playing then, I thought I'd make an update. Note that since I haven't seen any of the previously cut content, all of the information here has been cobbled together from the Japanese PS3 version.

The way it works out, there's five new trophies related to content that was previously cut (Hostess Clubs, Hostess Maker, Aromatherapy Massage, Shogi, and Mahjong). There are new substories that are related to previously cut content that have been added back in, as well as others that were cut for various other reasons. The rest of the trophies on here have had their requirements reduced, making them much easier. I would say the plat isn't any easier however, as unless there have been significant changes to the requirements of Minigame Master, some parts of the game are just as difficult as ever. I'm looking at you, pool.

Substory Completionist

Complete all substories.

There have been a number of substories that were removed from the PS3 version that have been added back in to the remaster, as well as a few that have been removed. All information on these substories has been lifted from ThePatrick's walkthrough on GameFAQs, and the titles are not likely to be named the same in the remaster.

A great guide for romancing the hostesses can be found here. Be aware that the translation isn't perfect, so use some judgement as to the best responses.

Fat Cat

Spend 300,000 yen in one visit to a hostess club.

When visiting a hostess club, purchase Gold Champagne for your drink. The trophy should unlock by the time you leave the club. There is no in-game benefit for spending this much other than the likely full level increase in affection from that hostess, so feel free to save beforehand and reloading to keep all your money.

Fashionista

Create a fashionable hostess.

The hostess management in Yakuza 3 appears to be just like the Hostess Maker minigame in Yakuza 4. To get this trophy, your goal is to max out one fashion stat. This page has several outfits that should max out one stat or another, as long as you're willing to put in the work to figure out some of the translation. Not knowing the other intricate details of the rest of this version of the Hostess Maker minigame, I'll copy what I wrote for Yakuza 4:

Key Collector

Open a total of 10 lockers in Kamurocho and Downtown Ryukyu.

The number of lockers has been reduced, and you can open any 10 lockers. All key locations can be found in the PS3 guide.

Heat Action Pro

Finish 10 battles with Heat Actions.

The number of battles has been reduced from 50 to 10.

Touchy-Feely

Play both massage modes.

This minigame also appears to be the same as in Yakuza 4. When you are being massaged, a "distracting" video plays in the center of the screen while your main attention should be focused on the meter on the right. Your goal is to keep the bar from reaching the top or bottom of the meter, while also racking up points. The most points are earned in the top segment of the meter, but this part is dangerous to be in, as a mistake can end the minigame.

Tag Hoarder

Earn a combined total of 3,000 points in cee-lo, cho-han, koi-koi, and oicho-kabu.

The combined total of points has been reduced from 10,000 to 3,000. All gambling hall strategies should remain the same, and can be found in the PS3 guide.

Chip Hoarder

Earn a combined total of 3,000 points in poker, roulette, and blackjack.

The combined total of points has been reduced from 10,000 to 3,000. All casino strategies should remain the same, and can be found in the PS3 guide.

Pro Gamer

Win 5 stuffed animals in the UFO Catcher and get a high score in a shooting game.

The number of stuffed animals has been reduced from 10 to 5.

Unwavering Shogi Player

Win a game of Shogi without ever moving your king.

This will likely be done when working towards the new requirements for Minigame Master. Shogi is a variant of chess, and as such there are versions available on the internet to play against hard computers. One method available to everyone is available here. Select traditional token style and above average AI difficulty, then use the moves of your opponent in Yakuza to play the computer, while inputting the computer's moves back into Yakuza. Be aware that, like chess, the shogi board layout isn't perfectly symmetrical and instead rotated 180 degrees.

Exposed Dragon

Win a hand of mahjong when you only have 1 tile concealed.

First, allow me to link to HappyKastanie's Yakuza 0 - Mahjong Completion Guide, which is possibly the best introduction to mahjong written for Yakuza players. Knowing how to actually play mahjong is probably necessary. Your goal for this trophy is to steal a tile for all of your three-tile melds, and win the hand by waiting to draw a pair on your final tile.

Minigame Master

Complete all minigames.

Assuming all the other requirements for this trophy are the same as in the PS3 version, there are three additional components.

  • Aromatherapy Massage
    • Get 20,000 points in the standard massage course
    • Get 30,000 points in the deluxe massage course
  • Shogi
    • Get 5 cumulative wins
  • Mahjong
    • Win 50,000 points (other than what you brought) in one game

People Watcher

Initiate 3 battles using first-person mode.

The number of battles has been reduced from 10 to 3.

Compulsive Vandal

Break 30 weapons picked up in battle.

The number of weapons has been reduced from 100 to 30.

i hope its not the same xD especially on the minigame master XD.
