Looks like a single player LotR game where the gameplay is done via cards. Think something like Hand of Fate, Thronebreaker or Slay the Spire. Might be cool.

Hearthstone, but Lord of The Rings.

Hearthstone is PvP unless I'm mistaken whereas this is a single player game. Thronebreaker a Witcher tale would be a better comparison

It may take me a while to get to it but I'm definitely picking this up. There just isn't enough Tolkien games out there

What do you mean? This is a long awaited Card Game. I waited weeks for it, but now... I expected a F2P-PvP-Card Game like Gwent. Maybe Thronebreaker instead, it's in a Sale actually.

They released a trailer on the last E3:

If it's anything like Thronebreaker I'm defiantly buying it

I actually really want to play this. I miss the Magic: The Gathering PS3 games. I don't see it on the store, though (US).

On topic: I'll rather they just make another real Lord of the Rings game. Hell, I'll take a remaster of Two Towers and Return of the King. Even better, bring back The Third Age. I loved that game back on PS2. Does anyone remember that?

They were good, from what I remember, but Shadow of Mordor is better. Aren't Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War real Lord of the Rings games?

I'm interested in this new game. I'll wait for some reviews to come in before buying it though.

For someone who played it on PC what exactly is that 0/1/2 heroes defeated?

The art style is almost identical to Hearthstone.

I would be interested if it were with a campaign a la Thronebreaker.

The steam version is $19.99, so it might be* at that price or around that price range. (I forgot to add the be in that sentence °3°)
