PC Games that you wished to be ported to PS4

I think I said this a long time ago here or somewhere else, but Guild Wars 2!!!! I could definitely see it'll work with a controller and PS4 can surely handle the graphics.

Assorted adventure games (seriously, that's 90% of what I play on PC so listing them all would take all night)

Thief trilogy

Age of Empires II

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (technically on PS2, but nobody cares)

Battle for Middle-earth I & II

Knights of the Old Republic (KoTOR II can go die in a hole)

Might and Magic VI, VII, and VIII

...With all the ports and console versions that already exist and stuff, that's honestly about it. Comes with the territory when you've long since given up PC as your primary platform, I guess. Hell, at this point it's hardly even secondary.

The list is endless, really. But some of my favorites:

  • Thief trilogy
  • Deus Ex
  • Wizardry 8
  • System Shock 2
  • Might and Magic series (especially VI-VII)
  • The Elder Scrolls III
  • Gothic trilogy
  • Hexen / Heretic
  • Quake 1-2
  • Knights of the Old Republic 1-2
  • The Old Republic
  • Legend of Grimrock 1-2
  • Cave Story+
  • Botanicula

Also, I'd like to see something like an "itch.io anthology", selected and curated, each completed indie game would net you a trophy, and that's it.

Every "The Legend of Heroes" game. :)

I agree. The Sky trilogy, Crossbell, and the other TLoH games before Kiseki... the Gagharv trilogy (Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch, A Tear of Vermilion, and A Song of the Ocean). The PSP versions of GT are said to have a lousy localisation, so I'd like to see a new, retranslated version for each one.

Now I just thought of another Falcom one... Brandish. Especially the PSP's Dark Revenant remake. If that were ported to PS4 I'd re-buy it.

Star Wars: Republic Commando - I still need to finish it on PC.

The Elder Scrolls series - I played quite a bit of Morrowind when I was younger and I only recently got into Arena. For my tastes I prefer either of them over Skyrim, as they've got more RPG elements and are less simplified. I haven't tried Daggerfall but I've heard it's fantastic. Oblivion is pretty solid; I'd like to see it get its own trophy list. Not too sure about the spin-off's. Apparently they're a bit... odd.

Remasters/rereleases?

The Half-life series.

The Fable games.

Black and white 1 and 2.

Kotor 1 and 2.

Jade Empire.

The Quake games

The Witcher 1 and 2.

All Fallout games.

Return to castle Wolfenstein.

Morrowind.

Oblivion.

Stalker.

Freelancer.

Risen.

Dragon Age 1 and 2.

Gta 4.

Caesar 3.

The Crysis series.

Deus Ex.

+ many more!

I've only listed some that would work with a controller.

Anyway..I came here specifically to say FTL. Very fun game.

That game looks terrible. Not at all as I remember. However, when I looked it up, I saw another classic, Buldar's Gate. They actually released it on the PS4 a little while back. I was able to pick it up for $10 on ebay, brand new. I can't wait to check it out in a week when it gets here. Thanks a lot for mentioning this.
