[ PSNP+ ]

 

PSNP+ is a browser script which adds functionality directly into PSNProfiles.com.

It extends the website with new features that are seamlessly integrated directly into PSNProfiles.

 

Features:

• Game Lists
  • Create custom lists of games - backlog, wishlists, community challenges etc.
  • Add and remove any game to your lists, move games between them
  • Search, order and filter your lists
  • Tag your games with custom tags
  • Private and stored in your computer; only you can see your backlog
  • Exportable
  • (This feature replaces older Backlog feature)

  • Refresh button (top left corner)
  • Extra sorting options for games
  • Load all games with a single click
• Trophy List
  • See number of trophies/points earned in the sidebar

How to install:

1. I have tested this in both Chrome and Firefox. Seems to work in Firefox for Android as well.
2. Install Tampermonkey extension:
   • Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tampermonkey/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo
   • Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/sk/firefox/addon/tampermonkey/
   • Microsoft Edge, Safari, Opera Next - https://www.tampermonkey.net (I don't use these browser, but it should hopefully work as well.)
3. Click: https://www.dropbox.com/s/th1awy9hm80ak46/psnp-plus.user.js?dl=1
4. Tampermonkey install prompt will appear. Click install. Visit psnprofiles.com / refresh PSNP tab.
5. You are good to go. You can see the currently installed version info in top-right user dropdown -> "PSNP+ Settings".
6. Last but not least, do not forget to backup your data every once in a while!

 

How to backup/restore your PSNP+ data:

 

PSNP+ stores all your data directly in your web browser. Only you have access to it, no one else. Your browser may however delete your data, for example when you clear your browser cache or decide to clear all your cookies. It's best to keep a backup of your PSNP+ data somewhere safe and in case your data (lists, settings, etc.) disappears, you can restore everything back.

 

1. Go to "PSNP+ Settings". (image)
2. Click "Export" in the "Data" section. (image)
3. This will prompt you to save a file. Keep it somewhere safe, e.g. Dropbox folder.
4. When you want to restore your backup, click "Import" in the same "Data" section and choose the file you previously exported.

 

How to update the script:

1. Tampermonkey will check for updates in regular intervals.
2. You can also force it by clicking "Check for userscript updates". (image)

 

How to uninstall the script:

1. Open Tampermonkey dashboard. (image)
2. Click delete (trash bin icon). (image)

Currently the functionality is very basic and you can't sort the list in any way. Adding alphabetical sorting (by title) would be very easy though.

I'm basically looking to collect some feedback and I will add what people ask for most.

Looks good but it seems to load the games from my profile below the games in my backlog.

 

Edit: It is fine when you enter it from a different tab.

 

Edit2: You may want to remove the clear button or give it a confirm. If you misclick it, you will lose all the games in the backlog.

Yeah, the clear button is not all that useful. I added it during development but I will most likely remove it because clearing everything at once is almost never needed.

Psnp loads up the first 100 games so all the games after aren't loaded and they start loading when I open the backlog. If I first load the next batch of games in my profile it starts lower down the list and when I load them all, it won't load any.

I'm talking about the forum section, now for example if you get tired of seeing the same dumb posts by a user, technically you can put them in an "ignore" list but it doesn't even hide his status updates and you also see a "this post was hidden blah blah" when they reply in a thread. Personally I would like the option of ignoring a user entirely, never seeing him or his posts again if possible once in the "block/ignore" list.

Also, I have noticed an issue with platform scraping which I will fix ASAP.

For now, it doesn't do anything other than it makes it very clear that you are running PSNP+ script.

Yeah, for now the backlog is not synced anywhere. I have an idea how this could be done and it's one of the things that I would find very useful as well.
