For anyone checking this thread, can you guys test this trophy if PSNP+ loads correct DLC guide? I'm unable to reproduce the issue that was reported couple posts back and I wanna know if others have the same problem.

Not sure, this doesn't help in case you are mixing regions. That's why I suggested simpler collapsing of stages.

It looks like this happens to me as well when I already finished the DLC trophy in another Version.

For example:

Burnout Paradies:
https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/483-burnout-paradise/52-take-part-in-an-online-stunt-run

I finished the trophy and the guide will load when I press the button.

Burnout Paradies Remasterd:

https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/7364-burnout-paradise-remastered/50-take-part-in-an-online-stunt-run

Haven't finished the trophy. When I press the load button, only the banner shows up, but not the trophy guide text

I also deactivated "Automatically hide earned trophies in guides" in the settings. Didn't change the outcome on the to trophies.

Edit:
I checked on L.A. Noire (PS3 and PS4 versions). All DLC trophies seem to load the same guide banner and don't show the trophy guide text.

Works for me, all good.

Which banner shows up for you? I get an error because the DLC name starts with "DLC: " and the script fails to match that. I will need to fix this. Already fixed in dev.

Yeah, the script does not run when I load info in the background so this should not cause problems.

PS4 list:

Only shows banner, but not guide itself. Already fixed in dev.

PS3 list:

Works fine for me.

Yes, this works for me as well. Just wanted to shpw the difference to the trophy in the other version of the game.

I'm talking about the banner below the trophy which leads to the guide. But as you can see, the text/description from the guide below the banner is missing although I haven't earned the trophy yet.

To be fair, it's a remaster. But both versions share the same guides (base game and DLCs) as they have the same trophies.

I'm unable to reproduce this in the current v6.7. I get the error message which I posted above. You should be seeing the same message as well. xD

Are you running v6.7? You can see currently installed version in the footer:

Did you change language in PSNP settings?

I test everything with "English (US)".

I'm using the latest version of Tampermonkey (4.17.6161), Firefox (104.0.2 (64-Bit)) and your script (6.7). Even turning of uBlock Origin (1.44.2) doesn't change the behavior.

But I don't see your error message ?

I was able to reproduce this with PSNP language set to "German".

Switch PSNP language to "English US" and you should get the error I mentioned.

Right now, the matching is broken when using languages other than English.

Matching for other than English language is currently not possible.

can confirm this now as well. had to reload the whole site (strg+f5) to make the language change properly work. now I see the error message as well.

It loaded the correct guide for me. Using the most updated version of Brave Browser on Windows 10 if that information helps at all.

What caused that bug?

If you go to PSNP settings and you set default trophy list order to "Date earned", then the list will no longer contain DLC headers[1] and so the script was unable to tell which sublist it belongs to.

You can see it here, it's just one big flat list: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/9857-the-outer-worlds/Kefka1986?order=date

The script now forces "PSN order" when loading the trophy list in the background so it all works just fine.

Just thinking what would be the best way for people to share their custom lists. Perhaps @HusKy would be kind enough to keep a list of them in the OP of this topic, but he has already done enough for the community.

I was thinking of starting another topic for people to post links to their custom lists for others. I would keep a list of them in the opening post and it could be linked in the OP of this topic. I already have a PS+ Extra custom list for AU region.

What do others think?

Yes, this would be great. I don't want to manage yet another thing xD

Also, it's better to separate discussion about lists elsewhere since this thread is primarily focused on the script itself and 100+ people get notification about every post in here.

@HusKy was just trying to import my list to test it and am getting an error:

Failed to download list! Error message: Unexpected token '<', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON

Import from file works but not the link. Tried with dropbox, onedrive and google drive.

Yeah, that link leads to HTML file that displays the JSON. Here's a link that works: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1qdZkOhVNsXRWofS_gySvvob_T6aesSIk

You can use this little tool to convert GDrive links: https://sites.google.com/site/gdocs2direct/

edit. Important note: this feature (remote lists and import from URL) is not available for Userscripts.app (iOS) users. Just Safari being Safari. xD

Yeah, you know how for whatever reason some guides are just in Japanese? Well it's causing issues even with the base trophies of some games like Yakuza 6. Guides won't show up on trophies, with or without pressing the load guide button. This isn't your fault, it's to do with the site-wide issue of some game's guides using the japanese stacks as the basis for guides. I really wish Sly would fix or address that as its been a big problem for years.

for example ^

Also, I wasn't aware until one of your more recent posts that we could donate to you, where can we do that?

Well, this one is a tough cookie. I think I could make it work but I'm not sure I want to. The current code to match English games and guides is already complicated.

edit. Hmm... I might actually add support for this. I think I have an idea.

However, PSNP+ still has one more trick up its sleeve. If you load the progress from URL that contains your PSN ID and choose "simple matching", it will show your progress inside the guide.

Oh and I didn't have any issues loading the "Murder on Eridanos" dlc trophy guide, sorry if I'm late to the party on this and you've already fixed whatever issue that was.

Yep, this has been fixed.
